Samsung fans have joined the One UI 8.5 Beta to experience the brand-new software. Some are waiting till the second Beta arrives with more stability. The first One UI 8.5 Beta update lacks two crucial camera modes.

Two camera modes, namely Dual Recording and Single Take, are missing in One UI 8.5 Beta. Samsung may restore these modes in the future Beta builds, as the latest software has some structural changes inside.

While expanding the Camera tools page via “More,” One UI 8.5 Beta doesn’t display Dual Recording and Single Take. The former is a feature beloved by vloggers and content creators, while the latter is an evergreen solution.

It remains to be seen if Samsung brings back the two-camera modes. The choices could be restored, or else the company might have been considering something else to add to the stock camera app and retain the functionalities.

If you are a frequent user of these features, One UI 8.5 Beta might be a bit disappointing. Go ahead with this Beta if you can settle for the lack of these modes. Waiting for future builds with restoration is the only way, otherwise.

One UI 8.5 Beta has just begun for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. The Phase 1 countries include Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US. In Phase 2, the Beta Program would expand to India and Poland.
