Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide protective case leak hints at design changes
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide foldable phone is getting closer to launch, and before that, the phoneβs protective case has allegedly leaked online.
Tipster IceUniverse has shared images of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide listing from Alibaba, an online marketplace. The tipster shared two types of cases: one is transparent, and the other could be silicone.
The rear side has a vertical pill-shaped opening on the top left, and the other half is completely open, covering only the bezels around the secondary display. The right side has a power key cutout for an in-built fingerprint sensor.

The main thing about this foldable is its design, a wide outlook, wider than the Galaxy Z Fold 8, but smaller in overall height. The phone will be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and it will be the first to bring One UI 9.0 (Android 17) out of the box. Samsung might announce some new AI features in partnership with Google at the launch stage.
Based on the previous information, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will feature a dual camera setup on the back. One of these is a 200MP main camera, and the other is ultra-wide angle.
Besides, the protective case leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will launch with the Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 in the Unpacked event in the second half of this year.
