Big newΒ Home Up update features Samsung TriFold integration
Samsung is rolling out an upgraded Home Up that supports the Galaxy Z TriFold phone. The company is bringing a new version of the customization plugin. Users can check Galaxy Storeβs Updates section on their device to get the update.
The new Home Up with Samsung TriFold support comes with build version 17.0.00.54. Release notes specifically mention that this version supports devices with One UI 8 and above, meaning the latest perks are stapled with the OS.
Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone. It brings a 6.5-inch cover screen and a dual-hinge mechanism. Unfolded, the device offers an internal screen of 10 inches, reaching the level of a premium tablet.
Apart from this, the new Home Up brings fixes for a bug related to the DIY Home feature. It helps you aggressively personalize your home screen. With a crucial improvement, Samsung has elevated the experience.
Home Up with TriFold compatibility isnβt just rolling out to the specific model. Itβs a general update available for a wide range of Galaxy models. You can access it from Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates or right from the Good Lock app.
One UI 8 brings excellent new customization tricks to Home Up. The new version has a dedicated blur engine and animation tuner for app icons. These settings join the existing gesture tuning added with the One UI 7 version.
At present, One UI 8.5 lacks support for this Good Lock plugin. It seems many plugins and apps would be incompatible during the Beta Program. Samsung is gearing up to kick off the One UI 8.5 Beta Program on December 8.
