SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Lake View High School boys soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 2-0 shutout against Frenship Memorial Friday night at the San Angelo Sports Complex.

The Chiefs finished the regular season at 19-2 overall and 18-0 in district. They won the district crown for a fifth-straight season under head coach Kyle Jones.

Lake View will host Abilene Cooper in a non-district playoff tuneup at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The Chiefs were up 1-0 before Santiago Martinez added an insurance goal for the final margin.

Lake View will open the playoffs next week. Details will be announced.
