Galaxy S26 launch has a direct connection with Galaxy S20
Samsung picked the same venue as the Galaxy S20 series for the Galaxy S26 series launch at an Unpacked event in San Francisco.
Reports emerging from South Korea, viaΒ Chosun, reveal that Samsung is launching the Galaxy S26 series at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California.
Built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition,Β the Palace of Fine Arts is one of San Franciscoβs iconic cultural landmarks. Now, the historic building serves as a multi-purpose arts venue hosting a variety of events.
The event venue has received an Unpacked makeover. Access is currently prohibited by security personnel, who are stationed around the venue to control access.
A simple sign reading that reads βGalaxy Unpacked 2026β has been installed on the buildingβs outer wall. Samsung will kick off the Unpacked event nearly 15 hours later.
Nearly six years ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series and its first Flip phone. The Unpacked event was held in San Francisco, and the venue was the Palace of Fine Arts, a historic landmark.
Experience zone
Samsung has also set up an experience zone inside the venue. It will offer visitors a hands-on experience of the newly unveiled products. Galaxy S26βs upgraded camera and Galaxy AI capabilities are in the spotlight.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S26 series and Buds 4 series. With the Palace of Fine Arts as the venue, fans around the world can join the event livestream. The products will be available for purchase starting March 11.
