CM Punk rips Pat McAfee, WrestleMania 42 ticket prices in WWE Raw pipebomb
Monday nightβs WWE Raw in Houston opened with CM Punk going straight after Roman Reigns. The World Heavyweight Champion sat cross-legged in the ring and spent the first ten minutes tearing into his WrestleMania 42 opponent.
Punk made it clear he was not looking for approval from anyone. He called Reigns a βloser, boring, and plasticβ before shifting his attention to someone else entirely.

CM Punk torches Pat McAfee and Ari Emanuel
Pat McAfee became the next target. Punk turned toward the commentary desk and unloaded on the former NFL punter, demanding he call Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel about lowering ticket prices for the big event.
βPat McAfee, you buggy whip armed, no brained hillbilly. You think you can come here to the business, my business of pro wrestling, and run your mouth. Well, you just wrote a check that your narrow [expletive] canβt cash,β Punk said. βYou want to talk about ticket sales? Do me a favor, call up that agent that was foolish enough to shoehorn you into this business and this show and tell him to lower the ticket prices.β
Punk did not stop there. He mocked McAfeeβs football career and warned him that a response was coming soon.
WrestleMania 42 is building toward a chaotic finish, and McAfee planted himself right in the middle of it. The former Indianapolis Colts punter aligned with Randy Orton ahead of βThe Viperβsβ Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes.

McAfee showed up on SmackDown just weeks before the event and told the crowd he wanted to reshape the business. He said voices like his got pushed aside for too long, and he wanted to bring back pieces of the Attitude Era.
Fans online didnβt react well to McAfeeβs promo. His involvement drew criticism from multiple corners, but it added another wrinkle to an already loaded card.
WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium. Punk defends his title against Reigns on one of those nights.
