Samsung Galaxy A07 5G launches in Brazil with 120Hz display, 6000mAh battery and six years of OS updates

Samsung launches its cheapest 5G phone, the Galaxy A07 5G, in Brazil. Despite its entry-level price tag, the smartphone brings a smooth 120Hz display, a decent 50MP camera, a large 6000mAh battery, and long (6-year) software support.

Available in a single Black colorway and 128 GB internal storage, Samsung’s new Galaxy A07 5G costs R$ 1,399 in Brazil.Β Deliveries begin this week exclusively through the Claro, Vivo, and TIM carriers in the country.

The smartphone has a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 167.4mm in height, 77.4mm in width, and 8.2mm in thickness, whereas the weight is 199 grams.

It features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50 MP (f1.8) primary lens and a 2 MP (f2.4) depth sensor. On the front, the device gets an 8 MP selfie camera with an f2.0 aperture inside an Infinity-U cutout.

The Galaxy A07 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, fabricated using 6nm process technology. It’s paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with Samsung marketing 4GB virtual RAM extension.

The device is packed with a large 6000mAh battery inside its 8.2mm body. Samsung has done it while keeping the weight under 200 grams. Buyers will be able to charge the phone using a 25W fast charging adapter (purchased separately).

It ships with Android 16-based One UI 8 software, and One UI 8.5 should be released soon. Samsung has guaranteed six years of major OS and security updates. It is a support level equivalent to Samsung’s flagship line (7-year).
