Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide will join Samsung’s innovative foldable portfolio this Summer, but an industry report has just revealed the upcoming phone’s complete camera specs and the hero color.

According to the info, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide may feature 50-megapixel sensors in both the main and ultrawide camera modules. For selfies, the device is expected to rely on Samsung’s 10-megapixel setup for both cover and internal screen sensors.

Folks over at SamMobile report that the primary camera could feature f/1.8 aperture, while the ultrawide sensor could bring f/1.9 aperture. The setup suggests Samsung is opting for a balanced approach rather than extra camera hardware.

Additionally, Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide in Dark Green as the hero (signature) color. The device would be available in even more colors, but information regarding those shades is not currently in the public domain.

Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide lacks a dedicated telephoto camera. Fans expected Samsung may use its 200-megapixel sensor like the Fold 7. Well, it doesn’t seem to be happening this year, yet the photography experience will be impressive.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide may be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips globally. Google and Samsung recently announced that the new foldable phones will be equipped with Gemini Intelligence features.

Samsung is widely expected to hold one of its busiest Unpacked events on July 22 in London. Galaxy XR Glasses, Galaxy Watch 9, andthe second-gen Watch Ultra would be introduced at the event alongside the three foldable phones.
