Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest smart home gadget, the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock G100, on its Youpin platform. It is priced at 1,099 yuan (approximately $160).

Xiaomi Smart Door Lock G100 Specifications

The Smart Door Lock G100 features a direct-insert C-grade lock cylinder with a clutch mechanism for enhanced security and forced entry resistance. It includes anti-pry and anti-tamper protections, along with a sensor that alerts users if the door is left ajar.

The lock features an AI-powered fingerprint recognition system with a 0.5-second recognition speed and 99.29% accuracy, improving over time for faster and more reliable unlocking.

The G100 supports nine unlocking methods, including AI fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth, NFC, an emergency key, and various password options like long-term, periodic, and one-time passwords. It also features a virtual password function for added security. NFC unlocking is compatible with Xiaomi devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, and fitness bands.

Xiaomi has included a financial-grade security chip to protect user data. This chip ensures encrypted communication and secure local storage. The lock also protects against electronic interference and malicious attacks. Additionally, a coercion fingerprint feature enables silent emergency calls in threatening situations.

The lock integrates with Xiaomi HyperOS Connect and the Mijia app, allowing users to monitor activity, share access, and create smart home automations like turning on lights when unlocking. The device requires a Bluetooth Mesh gateway for remote management.

The G100 uses four AA batteries, providing up to 12 months of battery life, and includes a USB-C port for emergency power.
