Designed as a tribute to one of the most iconic arcade games ever made, this new edition combines classic aesthetics with a splash of vibrant color. So let’s check it out.

Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition: A Trip Down Memory Lane

The American video game company first unveiled the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition console earlier this year. Now, the limited edition console is finally available for purchase. Pre-orders had gone live back in July, so the shipments should’ve reached most of the early buyers already. But as of right now, this retro gaming console is available for purchase directly from Amazon.

The Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition console is listed for 169.99 US Dollars, which is slightly higher than the price for the base Atari 2600+. To recall, the Atari 2600+ is a modern retro console that sells for around 129 US Dollars. This model was first released back in 2023 as a smaller replica of the four-switch woodgrain model of the Atari 2600. Although you do get some convenient features like backward-compatible cartridges and a wireless controller.

Looking at the special edition model, the Atari 2600+ gets a bright yellow makeover that includes yellow colored switches, the titular Pac-Man, and the four ghosts etched on the front. Apart from the design, it is practically identical to the regular Atari 2600+ from the inside, so you can buy games for it directly from the company or through Amazon.
