NFL legend’s WWE feud with Logan Paul expands before WrestleMania 42

NFL legend Tom Brady’s sudden feud with Logan Paul might be a gold mine for WWE as WrestleMania 42 draws closer to taking place in Las Vegas next month.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner has been jawing with Paul over recent weeks. However, that feud spilled over into the recent Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where both Brady and Paul competed on separate teams.

Now, WWE reportedly is “in negotiations” to give Brady a role in its biggest event of 2026. WrestleMania 42 is heading to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where Brady serves as a minority owner in the Las Vegas Raiders.

Paul has become one of WWE’s budding superstars in the past few years and has taken on a full-time role on the company’s roster this year. The “Impaulsive” podcast host is embracing his villain role within WWE as a member of Paul Heyman’s faction “The Vision.”

Meanwhile, his character continues to rile up NFL players after calling out several to fight in a boxing match. Brady has gotten in on the public NFL versus WWE feud after saying that wrestlers are inferior athletes.

The former NFL star had a viral moment during the Fanatics Flag Football game where he tossed a football at Paul and the two played out their growing feud.

It’s unclear exactly what angle WWE will take if they can secure Brady at WrestleMania 42. However, the former New England Patriots star’s involvement would be massive for Triple H and the brand.

The marquee WWE event already has several major matches scheduled for April’s event, including CM Punk headlining Night 2 against Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. Cody Rhodes is also slated to defend his WWE Championship against long-time superstar Randy Orton.
