'Not a chance' - Kompany picks holiday over World Cup TV work

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has opted to go on holiday with his family during the World Cup rather than work as a television pundit.
The Daily Mail had reported that UK broadcasters BBC and ITV were keen to tempt the former Manchester City captain to work for them during the tournament in North America in June and July.
They were especially interested in insights on England captain Harry Kane, who has fired Kompany's team to two straight Bundesliga titles.
But the Belgian will instead enjoy some down-time in the club close-season after a busy few months where Bayern are eyeing a treble. He inferred his nearest and dearest would not have been impressed with even more work.
"Why should I do that when I'm on holiday? Then I wouldn't have a family in Munich next season. Not a chance," he told a news conference on Tuesday for Wednesday's German Cup semi-final at Bayer Leverkusen.
