Reports: Hamburg's Sahiti won't complete Maccabi Tel Aviv loan

SV Hamburg player Emir Sahiti will seemingly not complete his loan at Maccabi Tel Aviv for safety reasons and has reportedly left Israel with his family.
Isreal's league was stopped when the country and the United States on February 28 started air strikes against Iran, which is retaliating.
It resumed last weekend, with all matches played behind closed doors, but Kosovo international Sahiti was not present and local news reports said the forward is not expected to return.
Maccabi allowed its foreign players to leave the country when the war started and Sahiti and his family left for Croatia where he played in the past at Hajduk Split and HNK Sibenik.
Several players returned when Maccabi prepared for the league restart with a training camp in Cyprus but Sahiti and Venezuela's Kervin Andrade did not rejoin the squad.
Sahiti joined Maccabi in January for the rest of the season. His Hamburg contract runs until 2027.
