The glasses will reportedly feature cameras, microphones, and speakers, and will connect to a smartphone and the cloud to process AI queries.

While Nothing may already be developing Nothing OS 5.0 (based on Android 17), the company is also preparing to roll out a mid-cycle update, Nothing OS 4.1, which recently debuted with the Nothing Phone (4a) series. This upgrade features new AI capabilities, lock screen enhancements, and additional useful upgrades.

Nothing OS 4.1 update: Eligible devices list

Nothing hasn’t officially confirmed the list yet. However, the update is almost certain to reach every smartphone that received the Nothing OS 4.0 update or launched with it. Based on that, here’s the list:

• Nothing Phone (3a)
• Nothing Phone (3a) Lite
• Nothing Phone (3a) Pro
• Nothing Phone (2)
• Nothing Phone (2a)
• Nothing Phone (2a) Plus
• CMF Phone 2 Pro
• CMF Phone 1

The Nothing OS 4.1 software debuted with the Nothing Phone (4a) series in March 2026. The company hasn’t announced a rollout schedule for older devices. According to several reports, the update may land on the Nothing Phone (3) and Phone (3a) series in early April. The update will likely expand to more devices later that month, and could reach a competition by May 2026.
