Some Samsung users get unexpected $50 credit ahead of Galaxy S26 debut
Samsung is reportedly surprising some users by sending $50 store credit to their accounts just hours before the launch of the Galaxy S26 series today. Some users on Reddit shared that the credit appeared automatically in their Samsung accounts and could be used at checkout. One person used it to get a 45W charging brick for free.
Many of these users did not sign up for Samsungβs usual Reserve program. Normally, Samsung gives a smaller bonus, like $30, to people who pre-register for new phones. This $50 credit appeared without any action needed, and it can be used on accessories and other Samsung products, not just the new phones.
So far, most reports of this surprise credit come from users in the US. It is not clear if Samsung is sending it as part of a promotion for the Galaxy S26 launch or if it is a broader offer for Samsung account holders.

Samsungβs Reserve program is still active and also offers a chance to win $5,000 for those who pre-register for the Galaxy S26. But this sudden $50 credit is an amazing bonus that can be used immediately.
The new Galaxy S26 series, including the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, is going to launch today. Stay tuned with us for more information.
