Samsung reintroduces wireless charger trio without changes
Samsung has brought back attention to its old βWireless Charger Trio,β a $90 charger that can power three devices at once. Even though it is being shown as a new product on Samsungβs website, it is actually the same charger that first came out around 2020, with no real upgrades.
The charger has two wireless charging spots for phones or earbuds, as well as a special place to charge a Galaxy Watch. It works with Samsung devices and other gadgets that support Qi wireless charging. It sounds useful, especially for people who want to charge everything in one place.
However, the charger feels outdated in 2026. Its charging speed is quite slow compared to newer options. It can charge Samsung phones at up to 15W, but other devices only get 7.5W. Many modern chargers are faster and more efficient.

The big issue is that the charger does not use the newer Qi2 technology, which helps devices snap into the right position using magnets. Because of this, users often have trouble placing their phones correctly, and charging may not start unless the device is perfectly positioned.
Notably, newer Galaxy phones have large camera bumps, which can stop the phone from lying flat on the charger, which is also an issue. This makes charging even more difficult.
While some people still like the convenience of charging multiple devices together, many others are not satisfied. TheΒ Wireless Charger Trio still works, but it feels old and less useful compared to newer wireless chargers available today.
