OnePlus has launched the Magnetic Turbo 2 AirVOOC 50W Wireless Charger. The new charger delivers 50W fast wireless charging, active cooling, and a built-in stand. It supports both Android devices and iPhones and is priced at 349 yuan (~$50).

OnePlus Magnetic Turbo 2 Specifications

The charger offers high-speed wireless charging through the AirVOOC protocol. It provides up to 50W output for compatible Oppo and OnePlus devices when paired with an 80W or higher SuperVOOC power adapter. It includes magnetic alignment for seamless attachment and supports Apple’s magnetic wireless charging for iPhones. However, it does not support the standard Qi wireless protocol.

The Magnetic Turbo 2 uses a TEC cooling system to control temperature during charging. This system includes a semiconductor cooling plate, a centrifugal fan, and heat dissipation fins to manage airflow and reduce overheating. OnePlus has added multiple cooling modes, allowing users to switch between high-power charging, low-noise charging, and cooling-only modes with a double-tap on the charger.

The charger features a 360-degree adjustable stand that supports both vertical and horizontal orientations, making it ideal for video calls or watching content. It can also be detached for standalone use.

The device features a compact design with a diameter of 63mm and a height of 22.27mm. It weighs 265 grams, including the stand, and comes in a Cloud White finish.

OnePlus claims the device can charge the OnePlus 15T to 50% in around 40 minutes. The Magnetic Turbo 2 supports Apple’s StandBy mode when used with iPhones, further enhancing its functionality.

In related news, OnePlus has also introduced a new 40W magnetic cooler capable of lowering temperatures to as low as −22°C, alongside an ultra-thin magnetic smartphone cooler.
