Galaxy S25 FE One UI 8.5 Beta 2 lacks AirDrop, carries many improvements
Samsung has rolled out the One UI 8.5 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S25 FE. This release follows the recent Beta rollouts to the Galaxy S25 and S24 lineups. Samsung will soon push the second Beta update to the Galaxy S24 FE.
However, unlike recent updates for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series, the second One UI 8.5 Beta still misses the new AirDrop-style sharing feature, which is also expected to be absent on the Galaxy S24 FE for now.
One UI 8.5 Beta 2 for Galaxy S25 FE focuses mainly on polishing the experience rather than adding major features. The update brings three new camera filters and improves overall system stability to improve the user experience.
Annoying bugs have been addressed, including Bluetooth connection drops, notification card clipping, and flickering during dual recording. Samsung also reduced Gallery lags and fixed incorrect AOD time display in certain situations.
There are also small but noticeable UI refinements, like smoother notification behavior during screen rotation and a fix for the lock screen briefly appearing before incoming calls. Overall, itβs a cleanup update aimed at improving day-to-day usability.
