Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 users in the US are getting another February 2026 security update. Right now, it is only live for users on the Verizon network.

Earlier this month, Samsung already sent a security update for this phone. Now, Verizon users are getting a second update based on the February 2026 security patch. The new version is F926USQSFKZB7. It is not yet clear if phones on other networks will get it soon.

This update does not bring new features. It may aim to make your phone safer and more stable. Security updates protect your phone from viruses, malware, and other problems. Stability improvements help the phone run more smoothly and avoid crashes or freezes.

Even though the update notes don’t list specific fixes, it is expected to solve problems some users had with the first February update. Samsung has released a new update for its One Hand Operation Plus app with version 8.8.11. This app helps users control their phone with one hand using simple gestures to make the app smoother and easier to use.

The update brings some useful changes, as the System Back gesture is now turned ON by default for phones running One UI 8.5. This means you don’t have to turn it on yourself. It will already be working.

One Hand Operation+ is a helpful Good Lock module for people who use big screen phones. It lets you go back, open recent apps, or switch apps easily with one hand. Samsung released the first update for Galaxy S26 Ultra in the Global markets, and when it did so in China, it had to pull back the 1GB software.

Tipster IceUniverse revealed that Samsung pushed a software update to Galaxy S26 series in China, carrying AZCG build version and weighing nearly 1GB. It was made available briefly, which was later pulled from the distribution server.

The changelog says “the stability and reliability of your device have been improved.” It’s a usual Samsung statement that comes stapled with almost every monthly update.

It appears to be the first software update for the Galaxy S26 series in China. But why the rollout was suspended overnight remains unknown. Samsung may have identified some issues, which caused sudden suspension.

The update will return after stability verification. Users may receive the same build or a newer iteration, bringing fixes for problems. You can look forward to receiving the latest update by the end of this month in China.

Samsung has also started the March 2026 update rollout. The company, so far, updated the S25 and S24 series, along with 2025 and 2024’s foldable phones. Internal One UI 8.5 Beta has also picked up a pace, expanding to several models.

April’s going to be a pretty important month from a software perspective. Samsung may expand the Beta Program to many older models, including the S24 series. The April 2026 security patch could also be provided early.
