West Ham United are currently locked in a terrifying Premier League relegation battle, and their recent crushing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford has left their survival hopes hanging by a very thin thread.

After arriving from Leeds United back in August 2024 for a reported £25 million, his debut campaign was frustratingly derailed by injuries, including a nasty nine-month hamstring issue.

However, he has completely flipped the script during the 2025/26 season.

Despite West Ham’s collective struggles on the pitch, Summerville has been an absolute revelation, bouncing back phenomenally to bag seven goals and four assists across 31 appearances.

Beyond just his raw attacking output, he holds a massive trump card for domestic suitors, he is officially classed as a home-grown player due to his formative years spent in the Leeds academy.

With Premier League squads strictly limited on the number of non-home-grown players they can register, his technical profile combined with that elite status makes him an incredibly valuable commodity.
