itel has often drawn attention for bringing design elements inspired by flagship iPhones and Samsung devices to its budget smartphones, such as the itel A90 and itel S26 Ultra. Now, the company has officially launched the itel Zeno 200 in India, and unsurprisingly, the design once again feels heavily inspired by Apple. At least from the back.

The phone features a two-tone rear design similar to recent iPhones, with the upper section housing a single camera setup. Yes, the extra circular cutout next to it is purely cosmetic.

The lower half gets a matte finish, and itel is even offering the phone in an orange color option alongside blue and titanium shades.

Around the front, though, things quickly return to budget-phone territory. The device uses a waterdrop-style notch that houses a 5MP selfie camera. The display is a 6.75-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 590 nits of peak brightness.

Impressively, the screen also supports wet and oily touch control. On the back, the phone packs a 13MP rear camera.

Powering the phone is a Unisoc T7250 SoC, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. It runs Android 15 Go Edition. Keeping things running is a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 15W charging.

To its credit, the itel Zeno 200 comes with features like IP65 protection and military-grade durability.

The company also promises four years of fluency, AI features like AI Imaging, AI Expand, and AI Remover, along with support for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The itel Zeno 200 is available in India in a single 4GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs 10,399. You can purchase it via Amazon, and the company is offering a Rs 400 discount on ICICI Bank and Axis Bank credit card EMI transactions.

As per the leak, the upcoming devices are expected to target the mid-range segment. The company has not launched an S series smartphone in India since 2019.

Back then, the brand introduced the Vivo S1 and later the Vivo S1 Pro as style-focused mid-range devices.

What did Vivo S1 and S1 Pro offer back then?

The Vivo S1 launched in India at a starting price of ₹17,990 and came with features that were considered premium for its segment at the time. It offered a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and MediaTek’s Helio P65 chipset. The phone also packed a 4,500mAh battery with 18W charging and featured a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Later that year, Vivo followed it up with the Vivo S1 Pro, which arrived with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor and a more premium design featuring a glass back and aluminum frame. The device included a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup while retaining the AMOLED display and in-display fingerprint scanner seen on the standard model.

At the moment, there is no official confirmation from Vivo regarding the new S series lineup. The leak only suggests the devices could carry S2 branding. As usual for any early leak, we suggest you take the details with a pinch of salt.

The upcoming iQOO 15T has surfaced in another round of leaks ahead of its expected launch in China later this month.

A new tip from known leaker Digital Chat Station reconfirms several key specifications of the device, including its display, battery, cameras, and charging support.

iQOO 15T Specifications (Rumored)

According to the latest leak, the iQOO 15T has cleared all the required certifications for release in the mainland. 

The phone is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch 2K OLED flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate. On the front, the smartphone may include a 16-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear is expected to house a dual-camera setup with a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel secondary camera.

Powering the phone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, an 8000mAh battery, and 100W charging support.

New is the detail that the phone will launch in five variants, including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and a top-end 16GB + 1TB variant.

The leak also mentions three editions of iQOO 15T — Qingyun, Legend, and Track Edition. If we take cues from the iQOO 13, the Legend model likely features BMW W Motorsport branding on a white back panel. Whereas the Track Edition could be a sleek, dark, racing-inspired option. 

Other tipped features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, full-level water resistance, and a metal middle frame.

Earlier leaks additionally suggested support for 8K video recording, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and an X-axis linear motor. However, iQOO has not officially confirmed the full specifications yet.

The company had already started pre-orders for the iQOO 15T in China from May 7, alongside the upcoming iQOO Pad 6 Pro tablet and iQOO TWS 5i earbuds. Official teasers have so far only hinted at the phone’s slim design and rear camera module.

The Honor Magic 9 series is still months away from its official launch, but several details about the device have already surfaced online. The latest leak reveals new information about the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max, including the display, chipset, camera, and battery.

From the leak, the upcoming Honor Magic 9 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO flat display with slightly curved 2.5D glass. The panel is also expected to support adaptive refresh rate technology, as is usual for a 2026 flagship.

Under the hood, the phone is rumored to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, which will reportedly be based on a 2nm process. While Qualcomm has not officially announced the processor yet, previous reports suggest the chip could deliver desktop-level 5GHz speed.

The camera specs for the Magic 9 Pro Max could include a 200-megapixel primary camera using a large 1/1.28-inch sensor. In addition, the device may feature a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a large sensor setup for long-range zoom photography.

Moreover, the engineering prototype of the Magic 9 Pro Max is said to have a battery capacity starting with “8,” suggesting that the final device will pack a battery no less than 8,000mAh.

The leak further mentions support for wireless charging, 3D face recognition, and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is also tipped to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and “master-level symmetrical dual speakers” for audio.

Huawei held a launch event yesterday in Bangkok, Thailand, to introduce a range of smartwatches, including the Watch Ultimate Design. The MatePad Pro Max also launched as the world’s thinnest flagship tablet.

The sole smartphone entry at the event is the Huawei nova 15 Max, which mirrors the Chinese Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max, but with software and storage tweaks for global markets.

Huawei launched the nova 15 Max globally in a single 256GB variant. Instead of shipping with its proprietary HarmonyOS 6, the nova 15 Max runs EMUI 14.2 out of the box. That’s not particularly surprising, since Huawei continues to keep HarmonyOS largely limited to China while relying on EMUI for international devices.

Huawei hasn’t officially confirmed the chipset on its global website yet, but the Chinese model uses the Kirin 8000 processor.

Huawei nova 15 Max Specifications 

The Huawei nova 15 Max features a large 6.84-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2756 x 1272. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming for a flicker-free experience. 

The phone packs an 8500mAh battery, which Huawei pairs with 40W fast charging. 

On the camera side, Huawei is keeping things relatively simple. The phone includes a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel RYYB main sensor alongside a secondary 2-megapixel camera. 

One of the more distinctive additions is the customizable “X button” located on the side of the device. Huawei says the button can be used to quickly access commonly used functions and apps. It can also control smart devices like televisions and air conditioners, trigger emergency contact calls with one press, or instantly launch tools such as the flashlight, camera, calculator, or calendar.

The Huawei nova 15 Max is available in Blush Gold, Golden Black, and Lake Cyan colors in select EU countries. It’s priced at  €449.

Xiaomi has announced that its AI Lab’s new-generation Kaldi team has open-sourced a new text-to-speech (TTS) model called OmniVoice. According to the company, the model is designed to deliver high-quality speech synthesis across hundreds of languages while also supporting voice cloning and customizable speech generation.

The announcement was shared through Xiaomi’s official WeChat account, where the company claimed that OmniVoice performs strongly in both Chinese and English scenarios and competes with, and in some multilingual tasks surpasses, existing commercial systems.

Xiaomi OmniVoice focuses on multilingual speech synthesis

One of the biggest highlights of OmniVoice is its support for low-resource languages. Xiaomi says the model can generate speech in “almost any language imaginable,” including languages with very limited online training data. The company describes OmniVoice as the industry’s first voice cloning TTS model that covers hundreds of languages.

In multilingual testing, the OmniVoice outperformed several commercial systems across 24 languages in terms of speech similarity and intelligibility, even when trained only on open-source datasets. The company also claims that in testing across 102 languages, OmniVoice’s speech intelligibility was close to, or in some cases better than, real human speech.

The model is also designed to work with limited training data. According to the brand, even languages with less than 10 hours of training material can still achieve high-quality speech synthesis, which could help expand speech technology support for smaller regional and niche languages.

Simpler architecture with faster performance

Xiaomi also says OmniVoice uses a much simpler architecture compared to many current speech synthesis systems. Instead of relying on several different modules and prediction stages, the model uses a single bidirectional Transformer network to directly convert text into speech. This removes the need for separate text modeling, complex hybrid structures, and multi-level token prediction systems that are commonly found in modern TTS models.

The simplified design also improves speed as the OmniVoice is claimed to complete training on 100,000 hours of data in a single day. During inference, the model can run at up to 40 times real-time speed using PyTorch, which could make it easier to deploy in consumer applications and services.

According to Xiaomi, two major design choices helped improve the model’s performance. The first is a “full codebook random masking strategy,” which reportedly boosts training efficiency and overall model capability. 

The second is the use of a large language model during pre-training. Xiaomi says this is the first time a large language model has been effectively integrated into a non-autoregressive TTS model to improve pronunciation accuracy and speech intelligibility.

Real-world use features

Alongside multilingual speech generation, OmniVoice includes several practical features. Users can create custom voices simply by describing characteristics such as age, gender, pitch, accent, dialect, or speaking style. The model can even generate whispering voices and other special speech styles without requiring a reference audio sample.

Another feature focuses on noisy audio environments. Xiaomi says OmniVoice can automatically remove background noise from reference recordings and extract clearer voice characteristics, allowing better-quality voice cloning even when the original audio is recorded in less-than-ideal conditions.

The model also supports expressive speech synthesis through intonation controls, including laughter and sighing effects, making generated voices sound more natural and conversational.

For pronunciation accuracy, OmniVoice includes tools that allow users to manually correct difficult pronunciations, including polyphonic Chinese characters and English proper nouns. Xiaomi says this can improve the reliability of synthesized speech in real-world applications.

When Apple introduced the iPhone 17 series last year, one of the more unusual hardware changes was its square-shaped front camera sensor.

Apple called the feature Center Stage, and it allows the camera to automatically frame shots in both vertical and horizontal orientations without needing to rotate the phone.

Now, it looks like Android brands are preparing to follow suit. 

Oppo’s next phone could have a square selfie camera

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, a smartphone maker is currently evaluating a 100MP 1:1 square front-facing camera sensor. The tipster did not directly name the company, but the emoji shared in the post strongly suggests the device belongs to Oppo.

And this isn’t the first time Oppo has been rumored to be working on a square selfie camera technology. Back in February, the same source claimed that both Huawei and Oppo were paying close attention to 1:1 square sensors and were considering them for future front-facing cameras.

The biggest advantage of a square selfie sensor is flexibility. Traditional front cameras are usually optimized for vertical shots, which means users often need to rotate the phone horizontally to record wider selfie videos or group shots. A 1:1 square sensor changes that by capturing a larger image area.

The technology also pairs well with AI features. It can be helpful with features such as automatic subject centering and wider field-of-view adjustments for improved video calls, livestreams, and short-form content creation. 

All iPhone 17s use a 24MP square sensor. Oppo testing a 100MP solution could result in higher-resolution selfies and more detailed video capture.

We have already seen a few foldable announcements in the first quarter of 2026, and there are certainly more coming in the months ahead. Insider Digital Chat Station (DCS) has now shared details about Vivo’s entry for this year, likely to be called the X Fold 6.

The most important detail here is that the X Fold 6 could use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500. Vivo’s foldables have so far relied exclusively on Snapdragon chips, with the last model, the Vivo X Fold 5, shipping with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

If that happens, the X Fold 6 would also become the first foldable phone to launch with the Dimensity 9500.

Vivo X Fold 6 could upgrade the main camera to 200MP 

On the camera side, the X Fold 5 features three 50MP lenses. The X Fold 6 is reportedly upgrading the main sensor to 200MP while retaining a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. The circular camera module design is also expected to stay, at least based on the prototype device that DCS reportedly got hands-on with.

The X Fold 6 is said to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics, which is the usual choice for slim foldables. 

And speaking of slim, Vivo made a point of the X Fold 5’s weight last year. At 217 grams, it was lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro Max at launch, and the company called it the lightest foldable it had ever made. The X Fold 6 is likely to build on that foundation.

Durability was another highlight of the X Fold 5. It comes with both IPX8 and IPX9 ratings and reportedly survived thousands of folding cycles in water. We hope the company brings further improvements this time around.

No launch date has been confirmed yet. The X Fold 5 launched in June last year at 6,999 yuan, so a similar timeline could place the X Fold 6 sometime this summer, although nothing has been finalized. We will know more once Vivo decides to make things official.

After weeks of teasers, OnePlus has officially announced the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite in India. Both are sub-Rs 30,000 phones, with some genuinely impressive specs for the price.

OnePlus Nord CE 6

The Nord CE 6 is the more premium of the two, starting at ₹29,999. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate that can peak at a blinding 3,600 nits of brightness. 

Under the hood sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, and OnePlus has even borrowed the Touch Reflex chip from its flagship OnePlus 15 to deliver ultra-responsive 3,200Hz touch sampling during gaming sessions.

It runs on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 out of the box. And the phone also brings stereo speakers, unlike last year’s Nord CE 5.

It is powered by a massive 8,000mAh cell paired with 80W fast charging. It can even reverse-charge other devices at up to 27W. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings alongside MIL-STD-810H certification.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite

The Nord CE 6 Lite, starting at Rs 20,999, is relatively more modest. It uses a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD panel — also with 144Hz — and runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Apex chip.

 Its 7,000mAh battery supports 45W charging and a handy bypass charging mode that routes power directly to the motherboard to reduce long-term battery wear. Cameras are simpler here: a 50MP rear shooter and an 8MP selfie camera, both capable of 4K video on the rear.

Both phones are available through Amazon, the OnePlus Store app, and physical OnePlus Experience Stores. The Nord CE 6 goes on sale May 7th with a Rs 2,000 early-bird bank discount, while the Lite follows on May 12th with similar card-based offers.

Huawei spent much of its Bangkok launch event talking about smartwatches, including the new Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro and Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, but the company also introduced a new flagship tablet called the Huawei MatePad Pro Max.

The new MatePad Pro Max is Huawei’s latest premium tablet, and the company is making thinness one of its biggest selling points. At just 4.7mm thick and weighing 499g, Huawei says the MatePad Pro Max is the world’s thinnest and lightest flagship tablet. 

Huawei MatePad Pro Max Specifications

The device features a 13.2-inch flexible OLED PaperMatte display with 3K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, and 1440Hz PWM Dimming. Huawei says the PaperMatte technology reduces glare and improves visibility in bright environments. 

The bezels are also unusually slim at 3.55mm. Huawei has hidden the 12MP front-facing camera system inside the bezel itself.  The back has a 50MP rear camera.

The MatePad Pro Max also supports keyboard accessories and stylus input, and the company says it’s designed for “PC-level productivity.” Speaking of which, the tablet delivers 20% performance bump and 30% better heat dissipation than the MatePad Pro 2025. 

Despite its slimness, Huawei has fitted in a big enough 10,400mAh battery, which is good for over 14 hours of video on a single charge. For audio, you get a six-speaker setup with quad-driver bass and four microphones. 

Price and Availability

The Huawei MatePad Pro Max is launching in two flavors: 12/256GB and 12/512GB. Pricing starts at £999.99, and you can choose between Blue and Space Gray shades, though Huawei says regional availability will vary depending on the market.

At its latest global launch event in Bangkok, Huawei introduced a new batch of wearables. Leading the announcement was the Huawei Watch Fit 5 series, consisting of a vanilla and Pro model. 

Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Fit 5 Pro

The standard Watch Fit 5 gets a 1.82-inch AMOLED display, while the Pro version increases that to 1.92 inches and adds sapphire glass, slimmer bezels, and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The Pro model also uses titanium alloy and a nanoceramic finish on select versions.

Huawei says the Watch Fit 5 series introduces “Mini-Workout” mode, which is essentially a collection of short guided exercises designed for people who don’t want to commit to a full workout session. The feature even adds a small animated panda companion on the watch face.

The watches also expand outdoor fitness features. Cyclists can now see virtual power and cadence metrics in real time, while the Pro model adds trail running navigation and golf support with access to more than 17,000 courses globally. 

Both the model features improved sleep tracking, a-fib (atrial fibrillation) analysis, and the usual health and wellness features. The Pro, however, adds ECG and arterial stiffness detection. It also supports women’s health management with a temperature sensor that tracks wrist temperature trends and predicts period, ovulation day, and cycle.

As for the battery, the company says the Watch Fit 5 series can last up to 10 days under lighter usage conditions and around a week with more regular use. Both watches support Android and iOS. 

Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition

Alongside the fitness-focused watches, Huawei also introduced something far more extravagant, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition. Co-designed with jewelry designer Francesca Amfitheatrof, the smartwatch is covered with 99 natural diamonds, sapphire crystal detailing, and a titanium case inspired by Fibonacci patterns.

Despite the luxury focus, Huawei still packed in the usual smartwatch features. The watch supports ECG monitoring, respiratory tracking, eSIM calling, NFC payments, and even diving support up to 40 meters. 

Huawei Watch  GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition

Then there’s the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, which targets serious runners instead of luxury buyers. Huawei says the watch improves GPS accuracy by 20%, thanks to a redesigned floating antenna system and dual-band satellite positioning. 

The company also worked with marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge on training features that include pace predictions, race preparation plans, lactate threshold analysis, and fueling reminders during long runs.

The Watch GT Runner 2 supports more than 100 sports modes and promises up to 14 days of battery life under lighter use. Like the rest of Huawei’s latest wearables, it works with both Android and iPhone devices, though some features remain limited on iOS.

Price and Availability

Huawei says the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series will be available starting May 7 through the Huawei Store. The standard Watch Fit 5 is priced at £159.99, and the Watch Fit 5 Pro costs £249.99. 

Huawei is also bundling launch offers until June 21, including a £30 discount coupon, a free watch strap, and a Huawei Scale 3 with purchase. 

The luxury-focused Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition will also go on sale from May 7 through the Huawei Store, priced at £3,499.99. Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition costs £349.99.

The Redmi K100 series won’t debut in China until October, but early details about the lineup have already begun to surface online. The latest leak sheds light on the key specifications of the vanilla Redmi K100. 

According to industry insider Digital Chat Station, the K100 will feature a 6.6-inch display on the front. Not much different from Redmi K90, but the battery and charging could get a real upgrade.

Redmi K100 could get wireless charging

The leak suggests the phone could pack an 8500mAh cell, and adds that the company is further experimenting with larger capacities. By comparison, the Redmi K90 already ships with a sizeable 7,100mAh battery. Wired charging will remain at 100W, though Redmi may finally bring 50W wireless charging to the standard model as well.

These are the first set of specs revealed for the Redmi K100. Earlier reports, however, suggested the device could also see a price increase.

A previous report suggests the device may still arrive with last-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but the price could increase to 4,000 yuan, or some $585. For comparison, the Redmi K90 was launched at CNY 2,599, which roughly translates to $380.

And it’s not just the base models. Phones rumored to have 2nm based processors like the 8 Elite Gen 6 are also expected to start at a higher starting price of 5,000 yuan (~$730).

One of the main reasons behind the increase is said to be rising memory costs. As such, several smartphone makers in China have already raised prices on select models in recent months.

OnePlus hasn’t said anything official about the OnePlus 16 yet, but leaks out of China keep coming. The latest one, from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, reveals key specs of the phone, and they line up pretty well with everything we’ve heard before.

According to the leak, the OnePlus 16 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, which carries the model code SM8975. It’s an up-and-coming chip from Qualcomm expected to reach 5GHz clock speed. 

OnePlus 16 again tipped with ultra-high refresh rate

On the display side, earlier leaks suggested a minimum refresh rate of 185Hz, with OnePlus reportedly evaluating support up to 240Hz. The new leak confirms a BOE flat screen with an “ultra-high refresh rate,” which is consistent. 

The panel is also said to use LTPO and LIPO packaging technologies to reduce bezels to around 1mm on all four sides. Whether it actually ships with 240Hz support is still unclear; the company is apparently still testing it.

As for the camera, the tipster reiterates that it will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto unit. Previous leak suggests the sensor could be in the 1/1.x-inch territory. The rest of the rear camera system is expected to include a 50MP primary and a 50MP ultrawide.

The OnePlus is also expected to get a major battery upgrade. Digital Chat Station‘s latest post mentions a maximum of 9,000mAh. A separate tipster previously claimed the same figure, so there’s at least some agreement there. The phone is also said to include a bionic X-axis vibration motor, symmetrical dual speakers, full water resistance, and a dedicated AI button.

As for software, the OnePlus 16 is expected to ship with OxygenOS 17 on top of Android 17. The phone is reportedly targeting a China launch in October, though no date has been confirmed.

Norwegian manufacturer reMarkable has announced reMarkable Paper Pure as its new entry-level e-ink tablet. 

The Paper Pure features a 10.3-inch Canvas display based on E Ink Carta 1300 technology that offers 1872 x 1404 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. Like other devices in the company’s portfolio, it’s built to simulate the feel of writing on paper, complete with palm rejection.

The design is nothing to write home about, but it’s slim at 6.0 mm thick and weighs around 360 grams. 

Under the hood

Inside, the device runs on a 1.7 GHz dual-core Cortex-A55 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs reMarkable’s custom Linux-based operating system, designed specifically for digital paper use cases like note-taking, annotation, and distraction-free reading.

The Paper Pure supports PDF and EPUB imports, while exports include PDF, PNG, and SVG formats. Meanwhile, the handwriting conversion is powered by MyScript.

The device also connects with reMarkable apps available on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, along with browser extensions for Google Chrome and Microsoft Office.

The Paper Pure also supports calendar integration for meeting notes and a range of security tools, including encryption, multifactor authentication, and secure boot. Like other reMarkable devices, it syncs files through its cloud service, with an optional Connect subscription unlocking additional features like unlimited storage and editing across devices.

It runs on a 3820 mAh battery that supports USB-C top-up. Connectivity includes both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

The device is available starting at $399, where you get the tablet and the standard Market. The higher-tier option bundles the tablet, Marker Plus with a built-in eraser top, and a carrying case for $449. It is available for purchase via the official site.

Honor is doubling down on the big battery game. After pushing into the 10,000mAh category with last year’s WIN series, the company is now rumored to be expanding that strategy across more devices.

According to a recent leak, Honor is preparing four additional smartphones with 10,000mAh-class batteries. Add those to the three models already out, and Honor will have seven 10,000mAh phones in total. No other brand is anywhere near that number.

Honor is testing a dual-cell 10,000mAh battery

Two of the upcoming four phones are more interesting. One is said to feature a 12,000mAh battery, which would set a new high for mainstream smartphones. 

The second device is reportedly using a dual-cell 10,000mAh battery design, which could be a first for the industry. The dual-cell setup helps with heat and charging efficiency, meaning Honor might actually pull off 120W fast charging on a 10,000mAh phone without it turning into a hand warmer.

The leak doesn’t confirm product names, but based on rumors, the phones could be a part of Honor X80, Honor Power 3, and a new WIN 2 series.

Right now, Honor already dominates this segment in its home market. Out of the four existing 10,000mAh-class phones, three belong to the company. The only exception is the Vivo Y600 Pro, which comes with a 10,200mAh battery and sits at the lower end of the price range.

Other brands are expected to enter this space too. Oppo, Xiaomi, and Huawei are all rumored to be working on similar devices this year. But their approach is more cautious. They will likely launch one model and see how it goes. 

As for Honor, it’s going all in. Honor seems to want to be the brand people think of the moment someone mentions long battery life.

iQOO 15T has been in the rumor mills for a while now. A new rumor today is giving us a first look at the device, or more like a part of it. 

Reliable insider Digital Chat Station (DCS) from Weibo shared a back image of the iQOO 15T showing the square camera module. The device, at least from what’s visible in the leak, borrows heavily from the brand’s Ultra series design language.

The camera module has two visible lenses along with the flashlight, while the rim has a knurled texture. The device has metal frames confirmed by the antenna lines, while this seems to be the silver shade of the iQOO 15T. 

On the front, the leak hints at a 6.83-inch flat display with a 2K resolution. The tip also claims a 144Hz refresh rate, which is the same as the iQOO 15 Ultra. The camera module is led by a 200-megapixel main sensor, which DCS is the first for any iQOO flagship. However, details about its other rear cameras remain under wraps

What else can you expect?

There are also early expectations around performance and battery. Previous rumors suggest the device may run on a Dimensity 9500 chipset and could include a large 8000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.

Apart from this, iQOO is also expected to announce a flagship tablet called the iQOO Pad 6 Pro. The phone and tablet could launch together, likely this month. 

The large-screen device is said to feature a 13.2-inch LCD screen with support for 4K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5chip, 16GB of RAM, 612GB of storage, and a 13,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It may come in three shades: Man Dao, Grey Crystal, and Silver Wing.

Alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra, Vivo has also launched the Vivo X300 FE in India. While the Ultra is more about the camera hardware, the X300 FE is a more compact flagship with a balanced set of features.

It is built around a 6.31-inch AMOLED display that offers 2640 x 1216 pixels resolution, along with an adaptive refresh rate that ranges from 1Hz to 120Hz. Vivo also says the panel can reach up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness. 

Under the hood, the X300 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It’s paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage that offers configurations up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is promised five years of Android updates, along with seven years of security patches.

Keeping everything powered is a 6,500mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

Camera and Audio

On the camera side, Vivo is sticking to a familiar triple-camera setup. The X300 FE includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens using the IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, there’s a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Like the X300 Ultra, the FE variant also supports Vivo’s external Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2, enabling a 200mm focal length for extended zoom capabilities.

Beyond the core specs, the device includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB-C port. It features a glass back, measures around 7.99mm in thickness, and weighs approximately 190 grams.

Price and availability

The Vivo X300 FE is available in India in two configurations: 12GB + 256GB for  Rs 79,999 and 12GB + 512GB at Rs 89,999. The Extender Gen 2 and its camera case cost Rs 15,999 and Rs 3,999, respectively. Bundled together with the phone, you can get it for Rs 97,999. It comes in three color options: Noir Black, Lilac Purple, and an India-exclusive Urban Olive finish.

After weeks of teasing, Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X300 Ultra in India. It follows the smartphone’s Chinese debut in late March, and as expected, not much has changed.

The device revolves around the idea of offering a camera-first experience. It features a 14mm ultra-wide camera using a 50MP Sony LYTIA 818 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and third-generation VCS bionic spectrum technology.

The 35mm main camera uses a 200MP Sony LYTIA 901 sensor with an f/1.85 aperture, improved light intake, and reduced reflectivity. The 85mm telephoto camera is based on a 200MP Samsung HP0 sensor and offers 3-degree gimbal-level stabilization with support for up to 60 autofocus operations per second.

All of this is housed in what Vivo describes as a metal, pancake-style camera module with a knurled texture. The device comes in Victory Green and Eclipse Black and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Vivo X300 Ultra with teleconverter module

The Vivo X300 Ultra is also compatible with two external teleconverter modules. The first is the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, which offers 400mm focal length using a 15-element optical structure. Meanwhile, the non-ultra Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 has a 200mm focal length with around 8.7x optical zoom. 

Both telephoto extenders feature CIPA 6.5-rated stabilization, meet ZEISS APO optical standards, and support fast autofocus at up to 60fps. Combined with the phone’s native cameras, Vivo refers to the entire setup as the “ZEISS Master Lenses Collection.”  

Not to forget, the extenders are compatible only with the Vivo Imaging Grip Kit. 

As for videos, the X300 Ultra supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision and 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording across all lenses. It includes OIS on all cameras, a four-microphone array, and support for 3D LUT imports. And if you’re professional, it supports ACES workflows, built-in cinematic modes like 24fps film style, and a 60fps modern format.

Display, performance, and battery

The device is powered by Qualcomm’s best Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Vivo has also upgraded thermal management with a liquid cooling vapor chamber. The system increases overall heat dissipation by 14 percent and features a 22% larger vapor chamber. 

On the front, you get a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

It is backed by a 6,600mAh battery with 90W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

Price and availability

The Vivo X300 Ultra comes in 12GB/512GB and 16GB/512GB variants in India, priced at Rs 159,999 and Rs 169,999, respectively. The 400mm telephoto extender costs Rs 27,999, and the imaging grip kit costs Rs 11,999. The X300 Ultra, along with the grip kit and both extenders, is available at Rs 2,09,999.

Oppo has started preparing the Reno 16 series for launch, with pre-reservations now open in China. A new leak, however, suggests the company is working on an entirely different Reno phone that sits somewhere between a traditional slab and a foldable, without actually folding.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), they have gotten hands-on with an engineering prototype of what is referred to as the “Reno X.” And its description is a bit unusual for a regular phone.

Oppo Reno X Specifications (Rumored)

The device reportedly features a 6.39-inch flat display, but with a resolution of “21xx×13xx” and an aspect ratio closer to 16:10. That’s noticeably wider than most modern smartphones, which typically stick to tall, narrow designs.

The idea here, at least based on the leak, is that this phone mimics the experience of a foldable, just without the hinge.

Moreover, the prototype is said to run on a Dimensity 9-series flagship chipset, and the battery is reportedly capped at around 7,000mAh.

On the camera side, the device is rumored to feature a triple-camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens.

A user in the comments shared a model design of a device measuring 143mm by 91mm, to which DCS replied that the purported Reno X looks pretty much the same.

As for the launch, the tipster says the current internal plan for the Oppo Reno X is to debut alongside the company’s annual flagship lineup, likely referring to the Oppo Find X10 series. This clears up any confusion about whether it will launch with the Reno 16 series.

Digital Chat Station also notes that the final specifications of the phone are “yet to be determined.” So what’s mentioned above could change in the development cycle. We’ll keep you in the loop as more updates emerge.

Xiaomi has had a line of massage guns in its portfolio for a few years now. The company is adding a new model today, the Xiaomi Long-Handled Fascia Gun 3, which will go on crowdfunding on May 13th through the Xiaomi Youpin platform. 

The crowdfunding price is set at 299 yuan (~ $44); however, the price will reach 399 yuan (~ $59) once the campaign ends on May 20th.

The headline spec here is a 12kg thrust with a mass depth of up to 6mm. It can actually get into your muscle tissue and break down lactic acid buildup rather than just buzzing on the surface.

A more interesting and practical feature of the Gun 3 is its dual-handle design. You can switch its head with a long handle (useful for reaching your back) and a short handle for standard use, with a simple plug-and-twist mechanism.

The device runs on a brushless motor tucked into an integrated body. It supports three speed levels across two modes. Fixed frequency for steady, consistent pressure (good for post-workout), and variable frequency for alternating light and heavy pressure (more suited to everyday relaxation). There’s also intelligent gear memory, so the gun remembers your last setting when you switch it back on. It weighs just 680 grams.

The gun has a velocity indicator ring that changes color based on how much pressure you’re applying. White means the right amount, Orange is if you push a bit hard.

The Xiaomi Long Handled Fascia Gun 3 can run up to 30 days with its built-in 1900mAh pack. The claim is likely, considering that you will use it for short sessions and not a continuous single run. 

It comes with three interchangeable massage heads, letting you target different muscle groups with different contact shapes.

Xiaomi has announced the pre-sale launch of its latest air purifier, the Xiaomi Mijia Air Purifier 6, in China. The new model is available for pre-order starting today, while the official sales will begin on May 13.

The air purifier costs 1,799 yuan (~ $263), though Xiaomi is currently offering it at a reduced price of 1,399 yuan (~ $204) during the initial sales window.

Inside, the Mijia Air Purifier 6 uses a dual-filter architecture combined with a dual-fan blade setup to create what Xiaomi calls a “dual-airflow” system. Practically, that means faster air circulation and higher purification capacity compared to the previous generation.

Xiaomi claims the new purifier can remove up to 99% of formaldehyde within two hours, and 99.99% of PM10 in just one hour. Tree pollen allergens, a common concern in many regions, are reduced by 98.9% over the same period. The overall particulate matter purification efficiency is 1.7 times better than before.

The purifier also has a six-layer composite filtration system, including a primary filter for larger debris, an antibacterial layer, a high-density formaldehyde filter, a nano-level precision filter, a specialized carbon layer for chemical absorption, and a UV sterilization layer reducing bacteria and viruses. 

On the hardware side, the Mijia Air Purifier 6 is designed to deliver high airflow — up to 11,666 liters per minute — while maintaining relatively quiet operation at 26.6dB(A). It also features a closed top design to prevent dust buildup, with a flat surface that can double as a small storage area.

The device includes six built-in sensors to monitor air quality factors like PM1, PM2.5, dust, formaldehyde, temperature, and humidity. It is compatible with Xiaomi’s HyperOS ecosystem, so you can connect it with other smart home devices.
