Just in: 13-goal attacker is ready to reject Arsenal move in favour of Paris Saint-German

Arsenal’s interest in Eli Junior Kroupi makes complete sense, but this already feels like one of those transfer stories where the Gunners may have to decide very quickly whether they are serious or simply watching from a distance.

According to Footmercato, Kroupi’s preferred move would be to Paris Saint-Germain if he leaves Bournemouth this summer.

That is a major detail because once a young French attacker dreams of PSG, it becomes very difficult for other clubs to change the direction of the deal.

Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked, while Bournemouth are reportedly demanding around €100 million for the teenager.

From an Arsenal point of view, it is easy to see why Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta would be interested.

Kroupi has just had a ridiculous debut Premier League season for Bournemouth, scoring 13 league goals at just 19 years old.

Kroupi helped Arsenal win the Premier League title

Even more interestingly, he scored against both Arsenal and Manchester City, with his goal against City helping Arsenal seal the Premier League title.

That alone makes him a player Arsenal fans will remember. In a strange way, he has already played a small part in Arsenal history without even wearing the shirt.

Arsenal should admire Kroupi, monitor him closely, but not get dragged into a €100m emotional bidding war.

He is clearly a huge talent, and his ceiling looks frighteningly high, but Arsenal are now in a position where they need players who can instantly push them closer to Champions League glory.

After winning the Premier League and finishing runners-up in Europe, this is not the time for half-measures.

Kroupi would be an exciting signing, no doubt. He is young, Premier League-proven, sharp in the box and already showing maturity beyond his age.

Should the Gunners spend big on the Bournemouth attacker?

Under Arteta, he could develop into one of Europe’s best forwards. But at €100m, Arsenal would not just be buying potential, they would be taking a massive gamble.

The bigger issue is PSG. If the player genuinely has his heart set on Paris, Arsenal should be very careful.

The club have worked too hard in recent years to build a serious, focused project. They do not need to beg players to choose them.

Arsenal should want players who are fully convinced by the Emirates, Arteta and the direction of the team.

Kroupi is special, but Arsenal’s next big attacking signing has to be perfect.

“Arsenal have called” – Romano confirms Gunners make contact to sign 13-goal attacker

Arsenal are reportedly showing serious interest in Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, with Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta both keen on the young French forward.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal and Manchester City have both made calls about Kroupi after his impressive season on the south coast.

Paris Saint-Germain are also among the clubs watching him, which shows how quickly his reputation has grown.

Bournemouth would love to keep him, but the interest around the 19-year-old is becoming difficult to ignore.

Kroupi has been one of the breakout stars of the Premier League season.

He scored 13 goals in his debut campaign for Bournemouth, becoming the first teenager to reach that figure in a first Premier League season.

Bournemouth have no desire to let Kroupi leave

Bournemouth also enjoyed a brilliant year under Andoni Iraola, finishing sixth and qualifying for the Europa League, which makes their desire to keep him very understandable.

Romano said about Kroupi on his YouTube channel:

“And then guys, the big gem on the market, Kroupi the striker from Bournemouth because Bournemouth would like and love to keep the player, but around Kroupi, after the fantastic season, Eli Junior Kroupi had at Bournemouth, a fantastic season in terms of numbers, of goals, of quality.

“Several, but several top clubs have started calling.

“In Premier League, the Premier League giants.

“I can tell you for sure Arsenal have called, Manchester City have called, and more clubs are interested.”

For Arsenal, this kind of target makes a lot of sense. Arteta’s side have just won the Premier League, but they still need more attacking depth if they want to keep competing across England and Europe.

Arsenal are targeting move for a new attacker

Arsenal have Kroupi among their forward targets, with a new attacker seen as a priority for the summer.

Kroupi is not just a pure No.9. He is mobile, sharp around the box and clever with his movement.

That makes him attractive to Arsenal because Arteta likes forwards who can press, combine and play with intelligence rather than just wait for chances.

Man City’s interest is also no surprise. They always monitor elite young attackers, and Kroupi’s goal against City in May, which helped Bournemouth hold them to a 1-1 draw and confirmed Arsenal as champions, probably made even more people notice him.

Kroupi would be a very exciting signing for Arsenal, but they need to be careful. He is only 19, and one strong season should not automatically turn him into a guaranteed superstar.

Pattern unveils Pi, its new AI engine for brand growth

Pattern Group today announced the launch of Pattern Intelligence (Pi) at Accelerate, Pattern’s annual gathering of the world’s top ecommerce executives and brand leaders. Pi is Pattern’s AI-powered autonomous ecommerce execution engine that identifies opportunities and acts on them in real time, helping brand partners grow revenue, win market share, and build a stronger presence on the world’s top marketplaces.

Pi runs active sensors across featured offers, advertising, content, pricing, and inventory. When a sensor fires, automated action loops act immediately, capturing opportunities and protecting performance. In the event a decision needs brand judgment, Pi surfaces curated action items for approval rather than acting on its own. Every action is timestamped and becomes a searchable record of all work done on a brand’s behalf.

“Pi is our central execution engine. It doesn’t just surface insights, it acts on them,” said Dave Wright, Co-Founder and CEO of Pattern. “Pi is built on over 13 years of data collection, logic execution, and Pattern’s broader technology portfolio, with 41 patents issued or pending, purpose-built to accelerate growth for our brand partners.”

Since deployment across Pattern’s brand portfolio, Pi has taken millions of automated actions, including featured offer recoveries, pricing adjustments, and content fixes, running 24/7.

Capabilities available to brand partners today:

  • Daily Brief and Podcast: a written and audio summary of a brand’s rolling 7-day performance, always on and available anytime
  • Chat-to-Data: on-demand answers to built-in ecommerce questions, backed by Pattern’s proprietary data
  • Pi Skills: pre-built automations for ecommerce workflows, each one informed by your brand’s knowledge base so every action stays on-brand
  • Knowledge Management System (KMS): a brand-controlled library where partners load their own guidelines, tone, and preferences directly into Pi, giving them control over how Pi acts on their behalf
  • Pi Chrome Extension: Pi’s intelligence meets teams where they already work, surfaced directly on Amazon product pages during live review sessions
  • AI Chat Apps: Pi is available in the ChatGPT app directory today, bringing Pattern’s proprietary ecommerce intelligence into the AI tools brand teams already use, with additional platforms coming soon

Pi is built on over 13 years of Pattern’s operational experience selling on behalf of global brands. Its 77T+ proprietary data points capture every pricing decision, featured offer recovery, content update, and advertising adjustment Pattern has made across its full brand portfolio, growing by more than 800 billion new points every week. Every data point represents a chance to act faster, price smarter, and grow more efficiently than a brand could on its own.
