Samsung tweaks Always On Display with Now Bar improvements
Samsung is improving its Always On Display feature with a Now Bar fix. The development comes days after the One UI 8.5 Beta kicked off. Samsung is rolling out a Now Bar fix to its Always On Display app with a new update.
Always On Display is a widely used feature on Android and Apple devices. It requires the device to have an OLED screen. Leveraging the technical characteristics, the feature offers battery-efficient information at a glance.
With the latest update, Samsung has improved the AoD function. The release applies a βNow Bar Memoryβ fix to enhance performance. The experience-ruining glitch will no longer cause you a headache with Samsung AoD.
Samsung phones allow Now Bar to appear in Always On Display mode. Itβs a power-saving way to stay updated with real-time info through Now Bar. The pill restricts its visuals and limits the view to just the necessary components.
You may like:
Open Galaxy Store > Menu and hit the Updates menu. A new page will open, and you will have a list of apps that can be updated. Tap on the βupdateβ icon, aligned next to the appβs icon and label, to install the latest version.
The rollout has just started, and the scope of this update seems limited. Devices running One UI 8.5 Beta are apparently the only qualifying candidates. Samsung will hopefully offer necessary improvements to One UI 8 devices as well.
