Galaxy S26 magnetic power bank launched at $65, but thereβs an annoying catch
Samsung has quietly listed a new accessory for the Galaxy S26 lineup: the Magnet Wireless Battery Pack (power bank).
It is exactly what Galaxy users have been asking for: a magnetic wireless power bank designed for modern Qi2 charging. Well, there is a familiar catch: you cannot use it properly on the Galaxy S26 without a magnetic case.
Magnet Wireless Battery Pack is a compact 5,000 mAh portable charger built around Qi2 standards. It supports wireless charging up to 15W and can also deliver up to 25W if you plug in through the USB-C port.
Samsungβs version adds a built in kickstand, which turns the phone into a small desk setup while charging. That part is genuinely useful for video calls, watching content, or simply propping the device up while it powers up.
The battery pack is Qi2 certified and designed for magnetic alignment. But the Galaxy S26 itself does not include the magnetic ring required for that alignment. Samsung says skipping the magnets helps keep the phones thinner.
So the official solution is simple: buy a magnetic case.

Recent Galaxy phones have large camera modules that tend to interfere with many third-party magnetic accessories. This new battery pack avoids that problem with a dedicated cutout around the magnet ring, leaving space for the camera housing.
You can snap the battery onto the back of your phone, get a stable charging connection, and keep using the device without a cable. Apple users have had this style of accessory for years, and the broader Android ecosystem is slowly moving in.
