6 April 2026 at 23:52

”Arsenal”ın baş məşqçisi Mikel Arteta sabah keçiriləcək Çempionlar Liqası matçı öncəsi komandadakı son vəziyyətlə bağlı mühüm açıqlamalar verib.

Futbolpress.az xəbər verir ki, insayder Fabrisio Romanonun verdiyi məlumata görə, “topçular” Portuqaliya səfərinə ciddi itkilərlə yola düşürlər.

Komandanın əsas simalarından olan Bukayo Saka və müdafiəçi Yurrien Timber zədə səbəbindən “Sportinq”ə qarşı keçiriləcək qarşılaşmada iştirak edə bilməyəcəklər. Hər iki futbolçunun sabahkı oyunun heyətindən çıxarıldığı təsdiqlənib.

Arteta azarkeşləri sevindirəcək xəbərləri də paylaşıb. Belə ki, zədədən qayıdan Qabriel Maqalhaes, Deklan Rays və Leandro Trossard artıq tam hazırdırlar. Baş məşqçi hər üç futbolçunun “Alvalade” stadionunda keçiriləcək gərgin mübarizədə iştirak edə biləcəyini rəsmən bildirib.

Qeyd edək ki, “Sportinq” – “Arsenal” qarşılaşması sabah gecə keçiriləcək.

Injury blow for Arsenal confirmed

Arsenal are coming into this game on the back of a disappointing FA Cup exit against Southampton, and they will be desperate to bounce back strongly. They will look to secure a positive result in the first leg, and the absence of Saka and Timber could be a blow for them. Both players have been very important for Arsenal.

That said, Arsenal have a formidable squad and should be able to deal with the absence of the two players. Furthermore, the class gap between the two teams is significant, and Arsenal should be able to grind out a result against Sporting CP, even without two key players.

Can Arsenal cope without Saka and Timber?

Arsenal are in the business end of the season, and they cannot afford to lose key players to injury right now. They are in the driving seat when it comes to the Premier League title race, and they will be hoping to win the league title this season. They will also look to progress further in the UEFA Champions League and win their first European Cup.

The Gunners have already struggled in attack at times this season, and Saka’s absence could further complicate matters. Even though Saka has not been at his best this season, he is still a difference maker for Arsenal in the final third. Timber has been exceptional in the full-back role as well. It remains to be seen whether the two players can return to action quickly.
