Xbox's Call of Duty developer Treyarch has announced that its classic Black Ops and Black Ops 2 games will soon get modern PlayStation ports.

After rumours that Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 remasters were in the works, Treyarch came forward to confirm what's actually happening. The original Black Ops and Black Ops 2 are being ported to PS5 this coming July, thanks to the efforts of Iron Galaxy Studios. Call of Duty Endowment, a nonprofit founded in 2009 to assist military veterans in finding high-quality civilian careers after service, is celebrating its 7th annual C.O.D.E. Bowl, presented by USAA, during NASCAR's San Diego Race Weekend on June 20.
