Samsung Galaxy S26 ushers in an AI-perfect camera era with Exynos 2600
Samsung detailed two major AI camera upgrades of Exynos 2600 that will improve Galaxy S26 photography and videography. The new chipset is equipped with an AI-based Visual Perception System and Deep learning Video Noise Reduction.
Exynos 2600 chipβs AI-powered Visual Perception System ensures perfect captures in a single shot, whereas the Deep learning Video Noise Reduction aims to reduce power consumption upon low light video recording operations.
AI Visual Perception System
One major feature is the AI-based Visual Perception System, or VPS. This system allows the image signal processor to detect fine details in real time.
It can spot elements like a personβs blink during a photo or video capture. The chip then adjusts the shot to avoid closed eyes or other issues, often delivering a good result from a single take.
Weβve heard about AI Neural Framing in the past. The rumor claimed Galaxy S26 will predict shots itself, and as soon as the shutter is pressed, a perfect picture will be captured.
Deep learning Video Noise Reduction
For video, the chip includes Deep Learning Video Noise Reduction, known as DVNR. This tool cleans up footage taken in low light by reducing grain and noise. It works with AI to preserve details while keeping power use low.
The Exynos 2600 also adds support for the APV codec. This improves color accuracy and detail in videos, bringing results closer to professional standards. Combined with DVNR, it helps users record steady, clear clips at night or indoors.

The combination of power efficiency and smart processing points to an era where AI helps deliver near-perfect shots more often. Users awaiting the Galaxy S26 may find the camera experience noticeably improved over past models.
These are just two; Exynos 2600 has even more bold upgrades for the upcoming Samsung flagships. The processor is under mass production, and an official release is all set to happen with the Galaxy S26 series next year.
