Samsung Galaxy S26 hides a smart privacy trick in the power button
Samsung Galaxy S26 series comes with a new feature β Privacy Display. This feature is made to protect your screen when you are using your phone in public places. Samsung has added this feature to make phones safer and more private for everyday use.
A new shortcut for this feature has recently shared by Alex Maxham. Users can turn Privacy Display on or off by simply double-pressing the power button. This makes it very quick and easy to use. You do not have to open settings every time you need more privacy.
To use this shortcut, you just need to go into the phoneβs settings and choose Privacy Display for the power button double-press option. Once you set it, you can control the feature in seconds. This is helpful if you suddenly want to hide your screen from people around you.

The Privacy Display feature works differently from normal privacy options. Many phones use simple software tricks for lowering brightness or adding a filter. But Samsungβs feature is built into the screen hardware. It limits the viewing angle of the display. This means you can see everything clearly, but people looking from the side will see a dark or blurry screen.
The Galaxy S26 series is now available for pre-order in some markets. Customers can book their phone through Samsungβs official website or selected stores.
