Samsung is gearing up to bring three AI features from the Galaxy S26 series to the Galaxy S25 series with One UI 8.5 Beta 10 update.

Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out the 9th One UI 8.5 Beta to the Galaxy S25 series. The company has recently started testing the 10th Beta build – ZZD9 (via Alfaturk), which could start rolling out to users next week.

According to recent leaks (via TarunVats), the 10th One UI 8.5 Beta could bring a set of AI features to the Galaxy S25 that debuted with the S26 series. That includes tools Samsung initially hinted might stay exclusive to newer hardware.

What’s coming with the 10th Beta

This beta is shaping up to be feature-heavy. Not just tweaks, but meaningful additions that change how users interact with their devices daily.

Call Screening

It uses on-device AI to answer calls when you cannot or do not want to pick up. The system asks who is calling and why, records the interaction, and then provides a transcription.

For users dealing with spam or unknown numbers, this could quietly become one of the most used features in One UI.

Advanced Audio Eraser

In One UI 8.5, it works across apps like Instagram, Netflix, and YouTube. You can pull down the Quick Panel, enable it, and manually tune how much background noise you want to suppress.

Creative Studio

You can now edit images using text prompts with better control. It is closer to what users expect from modern AI editing, but built directly into the gallery workflow.

By pushing S26-level AI features down to the S25 and even S24 series, the company is stretching the lifespan of its flagships.
