Xiaomi is hard at work bringing the HyperOS 3 update to its vast portfolio of smartphones on Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO branded devices. Earlier this month, the company’s latest software upgrade hit the Xiaomi Band 10 and Redmi Note 14 5G models. And now, the Redmi Note 14 5G users are getting this update in the Indian market as well.

Xiaomi India rolls out HyperOS 3 to Redmi Note 14 5G

The Chinese tech giant is now releasing the Android 16 OS based custom skin to the Redmi Note 14 5G model in India. This update carries the 3.0.2.0.WOQINXM firmware version with a long list of changes and upgrades. So here’s everything in the official HyperOS 3 changelog:

• Smoother and more stable
• Refined compiler instructions enhance performance and responsiveness while lowering power use
• Improved memory allocation and recovery increase available system memory
• Improved integrated frequency scheduling boosts system efficiency and reduces power consumption
• Improved short-video playback efficiency for better battery life
• Optimised graphics: A new window-rendering mechanism reduces graphics-rendering load
• Smoother system animations: Fine-tuned animations across 100+ system scenes for smoother, more natural motion

Apart from the latest Android iteration, a major new addition to the HyperOS 3 is Xiaomi’s HyperIsland feature that is inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. So it is basically a pill shaped feature on the top that shows all live activities like music, calls, timers, navigation, and more. Xiaomi built this feature to give more information at a glance, while adding intuitive and seamless interactions as well.
