Samsung just closed a gap that mattered.Β Google’s Gemini-powered Scam Detection, once a Pixel talking point, is now landing on the Galaxy S26 series.

The Gemini model runs locally on the Galaxy S26’s flagship silicon, analyzing calls and messages in real time without shipping your conversations to the cloud.

On the Galaxy S26, Gemini monitors conversational cues during a call or text thread and surfaces a real-time alert if patterns match known scam behaviors. The UI integration is native to Samsung’s dialer and messaging framework.

Scam Detection is already helping millions of users to stay safe from scammers, and we are expanding this feature to more manufacturers, starting with the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in the U.S.

Interestingly, Samsung’s implementation specifically targets so-called β€œPig Butchering” schemes. It also flags fraudulent job offer pitches, which have exploded across messaging platforms.

These advanced protections are now rolling out on Google Pixel 10 series and other select devices, and will be available on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series.

For years, Pixel users flexed this feature, but not anymore. The Galaxy S26 now positions itself as the definitive Android choice for users who value security as much as specs.

For Samsung users, this is not a minor software add-on. It is a serious security upgrade baked directly into the phone’s core experience.
