Leak Suggests Redmi Could Launch Xiaomiβs First 10,000mAh Battery Phone
Xiaomi could be preparing a major battery breakthrough, if a new leak is anything to go by. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, a mid-range device from one of Xiaomiβs sub-brands is set to debut with a massive 10,000mAh battery, something we havenβt seen before from the company.
While the leak doesnβt explicitly name the brand, it mentions a βsub-brand mid-range line,β which strongly hints at Redmi. Given Redmiβs history of pushing aggressive hardware in the mid-range segment, this detail lines up closely, although nothing is officially confirmed yet.

The device is said to support 100W fast charging, suggesting Xiaomi is trying to balance extreme battery capacity with practical charging speeds. If true, this could make the phone appealing to heavy users who want both long endurance and quick top-ups.
Other leaked details point to a fairly well-rounded package. The phone may feature a Dimensity mid-range processor, a metal frame for a more premium feel, and an optical fingerprint sensor. On the front, a 1.5K LTPS display with a high refresh rate is expected, likely using a flat panel design.
Camera hardware could also stand out, with a rumored 200MP main sensor. While real-world performance will depend on tuning, this suggests Xiaomi is aiming to bring flagship-style numbers into a more affordable segment.
Interestingly, Xiaomi may not be alone. Similar 10,000mAh battery plans are rumored from brands like Honor, vivo, iQOO, and even Huawei, hinting at a growing race toward ultra-long battery life in smartphones.
