4 May 2026 at 19:59

A first-person shooter scene from a futuristic game, showing a player aiming a weapon with a digital crosshair at two opponents while red laser sights illuminate the room.

Bungie's new extraction shooter, Marathon, is still trying to find its footing as the latest triple-A multiplayer shooter on the market. While it's been critically praised by many (myself included), it seemingly hasn't reached the level of commercial success that Bungie or PlayStation Studios hoped it would reach. Despite that, Bungie isn't letting on that it has any concerns about Marathon, and in a recent interview has just re-emphasized how it has long-term plans for the game. 4 May 2026 at 18:35

A video screen titled 'Ding Dong Academy' features a person identified as THE Shama Lama in front of a textured gold background, with the text I Want U 2 B A Ding Dong 2 (IWU2BADD2) visible on the screen from the video game 'Revenge of the Savage Planet'.

Since Asha Sharma took over as the new chief executive officer of Xbox, the most immediate change she made was to make Xbox far more communicative than it had previously been between its executives and Xbox players. After revealing its release date yesterday, Subnautica 2 developer Unknown Worlds has revealed the PC system requirements for its upcoming underwater deep-sea exploration survival adventure.
