Hopefully, most Americans watch the U.S. men's and women's hockey teams win gold medals at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Watching their joy and commitment to their sport and teammates was wonderful.

When our national anthem was played, singing, honor and respect were off the charts. There was no kneeling, alternative anthems, protest shirts/jerseys, or controversies. There was just patriotism and respect for the flag and what they had accomplished as Americans.
