Samsung recently shared the details of the December 2025 security patch for Galaxy devices and has now started rolling it out for one of the popular Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A34 5G. Similar to last month, Samsung is also focusing on providing the latest security patch this month for mid-range devices instead of flagships first.

December 2025 security update for the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone arrives with One UI build version A346EXXSBEYK3. The installation package size of this update is around 360MB. The update is based on Android 16 and One UI 8. It also means that the Galaxy A34 5G will get the One UI 8.5 update in the future

The latest update is currently available for users in Indonesia, and the company will soon expand this update to more countries. Other Galaxy devices are also expected to receive this security patch in the coming weeks.

Until then, let’s check the details of the December 2025 security patch. The latest firmware brings 68 important fixes for a broad range of Galaxy phones, foldables, and tablets to improve system security and stability.

Out of these fixes, 57 patches are for Android, including 6 critical and 51 high-level security issues. Samsung has already fixed 2 issues in previous updates, and 14 issues do not apply to Galaxy devices. The update also includes 11 One UI-specific improvements, which help make Galaxy devices safer and more secure.
