Samsung sends new security update to Galaxy A34, S23 FE and M16 users
Samsung has pushed a new software update with the February 2026 security patch for the Galaxy A34, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy M16 5G. This update mainly improves the phoneβs security and overall system stability.
Currently, the update is live for Galaxy M16 and Galaxy S23 FE users in India, while Galaxy A34 users get it in the Middle East. Samsung usually releases updates gradually, which means it may take a few days before all users receive it on their devices.
The Galaxy A34 is getting the update with firmware version A346EXXSDEZB6, the Galaxy S23 FE is receiving version S711BXXSEFZB3, and the Galaxy M16 5G comes with firmware M166PXXS5CZB4. We are in March 2026, but these devices are getting last monthβs patch.
This update includes the February 2026 security patch, which brings 37 security fixes provided by Samsung and Google. These fixes help protect the phone from possible security risks, bugs, and other vulnerabilities. Installing the latest security update is important because it helps keep your personal data safe and ensures your device runs smoothly.

Along with better security, the update also improves system stability. This means users may notice better performance and fewer issues while using their phones.
Users can easily check for the update on their phones. Simply open Settings, go to Software update, and tap Download and install. If the update is available, it will start downloading.
Before installing the update, it is recommended to use a stable Wi-Fi connection and make sure the phone has enough battery. Since the rollout happens gradually, some users may receive the update later than others
