Update: Samsung Display’s statement
Samsung Display confirmed to SammyFans that the report circulated in the Korean industry regarding the volume of foldable OLED panel supply to Apple is untrue. Samsung Display also declined to comment on specific details.
While we cannot confirm details about specific customers or potential supply volumes, we can clarify that the claim that “Samsung Display plans to produce 11 million OLED units next year for Apple’s foldable iPhone” does not reflect the facts.
Original story as follows…
Apple is apparently aiming to ship 10 million foldable iPhone next year. The company’s sales target is sharply outclassing Samsung’s entire tally. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Fold 7, even their successors, won’t reach such a mark.
According to ETNews, Samsung Display will mass-produce 11 million foldable OLED panels for Apple foldable iPhone. The OLED production target suggests that the production sales could be around 10 million units next year.
A recent report revealed that Samsung has increased its foldable sales target by 10 percent for 2026. The company is targeting around 6.7 million sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, combined, which is still behind Apple’s.
The iPhone maker has just shaken its supply chain and foldable iPhone ambitions. Previously, it was anticipated that the OLED production would be between 6 to 8 million. Now, the production is targeted to hit the 11 million mark.
Samsung Display is the exclusive supplier for the foldable iPhone. The company has also supplied cutting-edge OLEDs for the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. The next-gen Galaxy foldables will also source the display from Samsung D.
Apple seems quite optimistic about its first foldable product coming next year. The company will enjoy sales riding on the wave of appreciation from its loyal fanbase. However, it would benefit the worldwide foldable market for all.
It’s said that Apple asked Samsung Display to make a crease-free foldable screen. The iPhone maker doesn’t want it to show a crease like others. The device could get a 5.35-inch cover and a 7.58-inch internal screen.
An industry official stated, “Apple has many loyal customers,” and added, “As it is the first foldable phone introduced by Apple, it appears to be a strategy to convert high consumer expectations and interest into sales.”

We are in December 2025, and a strange rumor is spreading about smartphones that can surprise many users. Some smartphone companies are reportedly thinking about bringing back the microSD card slot. This comes after years of removing it from most modern phones.
The reason behind this sudden change is rising memory prices. Internal storage has become more expensive because the cost of memory chips is going up fast. This makes higher-storage phones cost a lot more for users.
A well-known tipster, @Jukan05, shared that some smartphone manufacturers are discussing new ideas. They are looking for ways to help users save money on storage by considering expandable storage again with the SD card slot.
If the microSD slot returns, it will give users a cheaper option. Instead of buying a costly phone with large internal storage, people could simply add a microSD card. This makes storage upgrades easy and budget-friendly.

The new information shows that manufacturers are also exploring a SIM and SD combo slot. This means one slot can hold both the SIM card and the microSD card, like older phones. This would not require changing the phone’s outer design or adding extra openings.
In the past, companies removed microSD slots to make phones slimmer, better performance, more water-resistant, and for other reasons. But now, the sharp rise in memory prices is making them reconsider. Bringing the slot back could help attract users who need more space.
Many people are wondering if this change could happen by 2026. Nothing is confirmed yet, but the idea is gaining attention. For now, it is only a rumor. But it has already created excitement among users who miss previous expandable storage phones. Stay tuned for more information.

Samsung has made its Samsung Wallet app more useful for Galaxy smartphone users in India. The latest update now allows users to add Yes Bank debit cards to the app. This comes after Samsung added support for AU Small Finance Bank cards last month. With this update, more people can use Samsung Wallet for digital payments.
Adding your Yes Bank card to Samsung Wallet is easy. Once the card is added, you can pay at stores using your Galaxy phone. To make a payment, open the Samsung Wallet app, choose the card you want to use, and tap your phone on the payment machine.
When the Samsung Wallet app was checked on a Galaxy S25 in India, the ‘What’s New’ section under the Promotions tab displayed a notification about the addition of Yes Bank card support, which indicates that users now have more options for mobile payments.

In October, Samsung also added four new features to Samsung Wallet in India. These features make it easier to manage payments, store cards, and perform other digital transactions. Regular updates like these show Samsung’s commitment to making the app more useful and convenient for everyday use.
By supporting more banks and adding helpful features, Samsung Wallet is becoming a stronger option for people who want to pay digitally. Galaxy users can now leave their physical cards at home and use their phones for quick, contactless payments. Now, users of Samsung Wallet can use more bank cards for making payments in India.
