One UI 8.5 beta unlocks shared storage across Samsung devices
Samsungβs One UI 8.5 Beta Program is live for the Galaxy S25 series, and this beta update introduces several new features, one of which is Storage Share. This feature makes it simple to access files between Samsung devices.
The Storage Share feature lets you access files from your other Samsung devices, like phones, tablets, and PCs, directly from the My Files app on your Galaxy phone. Now, you can view your files from any device without needing to transfer them.
If you have multiple Samsung devices, then you can easily see files from one device on the other with this new One UI 8.5 feature. Instead of moving files manually or uploading them to the cloud, you can simply open the My Files app and view storage from your other devices. This makes it simple to check photos, documents, or downloads stored elsewhere without switching devices.

It is important to note that you can view the files, but you canβt save them directly to your phone or share them using Quick Share yet. Still, itβs a helpful way to access your content across devices.
This new feature works like having a shared storage system across all your Samsung devices. It helps users to stay organized and access their content more easily.
If you have an eligible Galaxy device so you can join the One UI 8.5 Beta Program to try out the Storage Share feature. The beta update is currently live for limited countries and could expand to more countries soon. Stay tuned.
