Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra could feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for massive speed boost
Samsung’s next flagship phone, the Galaxy S27 Ultra, is already getting attention because of its expected powerful performance. Like earlier Galaxy S Ultra phones, it will likely use a top Qualcomm processor. Now, a new leak suggests that the device may come with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip.
According to a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, both the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Gen 6 Pro will be made using TSMC’s advanced 2nm technology. This means the chips can run faster while using less battery. This is good for users because it can improve overall phone speed and battery life at the same time.
Also, the tipster shared that these chips may use a new CPU design called “2+3+3.” This setup includes two very powerful cores for heavy tasks, three cores for normal daily use, and three smaller cores that help save battery during light tasks.

The Pro version is expected to be more powerful than the standard one. It may come with a newer Adreno 850 graphics unit and more graphics memory, along with support for faster LPDDR6 RAM. On the other hand, the regular version may include the Adreno 845 graphics unit and support LPDDR5X RAM.
Compared to the current Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, these new chips could offer better speed, smoother gaming, and improved performance. If these leaks are correct, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could be a big upgrade for users. Stay tuned for more information.
