Samsung unveils P9 Express microSD cards for Nintendo Switch 2 gamers
Samsung has announced its new P9 Express microSD Express cards, which are made to give gamers faster performance and more storage space. These new cards are designed especially for the Nintendo Switch 2 and come in two sizes, 256GB and 512GB. It gives players enough room for their favorite games, updates, and downloadable content.
The P9 Express uses the latest SD Express technology, which is based on PCIe and NVMe, the same systems used in high-speed computer drives. With read speeds of up to 800MB/s, it is around four times faster than regular UHS-I microSD cards.
To make performance even better, the cards support Host Memory Buffer (HMB), which uses your device’s memory to speed up data access. Samsung also added Dynamic Thermal Guard (DTG) technology, which keeps the card from getting too hot and ensures stable performance during long hours of gaming.
