Gavin McKenna, the potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NHL draft, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault and a misdemeanor charge of simple assault, plus summary offenses for disorderly conduct and harassment following an altercation on Saturday, according to Onward State.

The 18-year-old Penn State freshman forward was reportedly at a downtown State College, Pennsylvania bar with the team and friends and family following the Nittany Lions' outdoor game at Beaver Stadium against Michigan State. It's unknown how the altercation began, but McKenna reportedly broke the jaw of an unidentified individual.

According to the Pennsylvania court docket, McKenna is awaiting a preliminary hearing on the matter.

In July, McKenna announced that he would be attending Penn State following three seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League, one of three leagues that makes up the Canadian Hockey League. The move was made possible after the NCAA's ruling that allowed CHL players to play collegiately.

Through 24 games this season, McKenna has 11 goals and 32 points for the Nittany Lions, who are in third place in the Big Ten. He was recently ranked as the No. 1 North American skater by NHL Central Scouting ahead of June's NHL draft.

Is Nothing Launching Phone (4a) Pro & Phone (4a) next month?

Nothing-Phone-3a-Community-Edition

Nothing appears to be gearing up for the release of its next mid-range smartphone series. The Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro have just surfaced in another leak, which has hinted at their release being right around the corner. So here’s what we know.

Nothing Phone (4a) & Phone (4a) Pro Could Be Just Weeks Away

According to a known tipster Yogesh Brar, the brand might be planning an early March release for its new mid-range duo. He also shared a tentative global launch date, which is 5th March 2026. So the affordable devices could be just a month away from their official announcement. This launch strategy would mirror last year’s timing for the Phone (3a) series, which debuted around the same time last year, and helped Nothing solidify its presence in the mid-range segment.

Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro OS 4.0
Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro

In a recent announcement, Nothing confirmed that there will be no Phone (4) flagship model launching this year, but has already confirmed the Phone (4a) lineup. This might be indicative of the brand’s focus on enhancing the 4a series with meaningful upgrades in design and performance. In the tweet, the tipster did reveal some of these updates, including a faster UFS 3.1 storage instead of the older UFS 2.2, which should result in faster app load times and improved responsiveness.

Both variants are also likely to use Snapdragon 7 series chipsets, although the exact models have yet to be confirmed. This should offer capable performance for day-to-day use and efficient power management. Nothing could bring a marginal battery capacity bump in both models. Apart from this, the upcoming devices are expected to get a refreshed design and a higher price tag.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Leaks are hitting the web as we approach its official launch, and they give us our best look yet at what Samsung’s next flagship will offer in terms of finishes. After images from a Russian retailer briefly surfaced online, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will arrive in four main color options, so let’s check it out.

These colors appeared in leaked product renders from retailer listings, and while some of those listings were quickly taken down, the same lineup has been confirmed by reputable tech news sites and leakers. While these four colors seem set to be widely available through carriers and retailers, rumours suggest additional shades like Silver Shadow and Pink Gold could also launch later on. Some of these might also be exclusive to Samsung’s official website or new limited editions.

Aside from color options, recent renders have also highlighted a slightly refreshed design for the S26 Ultra, including an updated quad-camera layout on the rear and slimmer bezels on the front. Apart from this, Samsung’s new flagship likely retains an S Pen slot. Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a new Privacy Display feature as well.

OnePlus 16 might be getting a major telephoto camera upgrade

OnePlus 15

Despite the OnePlus 15 launching just a couple of months ago, there have been plenty of early leaks for its successor. Now, a fresh tip has suggested that the OnePlus 16 is getting a significant camera upgrade, especially for its zoom lens. So here are all the details.

OnePlus 16 leaks with 200MP telephoto camera

The latest leak arrives from a post from OnePlus Club on X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, the OnePlus 16 is reportedly getting a higher resolution and a larger sensor for zoomed photography. This new camera will be a 200MP shooter that has a 1/1.56-inch size, which is comparable to the OnePlus 15’s primary camera. To recall, the OnePlus 15 launched with a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with a 3x optical zoom and a 1/2.75-inch sensor.

OnePlus 15
OnePlus 15

In other words, we might be getting a meaningful boost for zoom photography, along with improved low light detail capture and overall imaging capabilities. This will also make the OnePlus 16 more in line with other Chinese flagships like the Oppo Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro that pack large telephoto shooters. While the focal length of the new sensor is unknown, the new 200MP resolution could signify a higher digital crop on OnePlus’ next flagship.

This leak is also in line with some of our earlier reports. The OnePlus 15 is expected to launch with a 240Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 Pro, and 200MP triple cameras. However, the previous leak hinted at a 200MP primary camera with a 50MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto shooter. Keep in mind that this is still quite an early leak, so take this news with a pinch of salt for now.

Under the hood, it is equipped with Intel’s N95 processor, a quad-core Alder Lake-N chip that reaches up to around 3.4GHz. This CPU isn’t the most capable, but it has enough horsepower for smooth productivity, web browsing, office work, and video streaming. It isn’t aimed at heavy gaming or demanding creative workloads. Instead, it provides reliable performance for daily use cases.

Paired with the CPU is 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD, offering generous memory and storage for a mini PC of this size. The SSD can be upgraded for even larger storage down the line, though the RAM is soldered on board. Despite its tiny form factor, the Neo Z95 doesn’t skimp on ports, offering three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two HDMI outputs and one DisplayPort, allowing the system to support triple-display setups. You also get two Gigabit LAN ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.

This mini PC runs Windows out of the box, making it ready for familiar desktop apps, streaming services, and office tools. Its active cooling keeps temperatures in check during prolonged usage, while the pocket-friendly size and VESA-mount compatibility make it easy to tuck behind a monitor or TV. Pricing hasn’t been officially confirmed by Minix yet, but most Intel N95 powered mini PCs are in the budget segment.
