Depending on who you speak to, Fernandes is either too important to sell and therefore going nowhere, or an opportunity to make a big sale that could refresh the Man Utd squad.

My information remains that Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the Portugal international, as I reported back in February, but a move to the Saudi Pro League is probably more realistic.
Bruno Fernandes likely to receive huge offers
While United’s official position is that Fernandes is not for sale, they’re also realistic about the fact that he’s about to turn 32 and could soon start to decline.
Sources point to the stark drop-off in form of Mohamed Salah this season, with United keen not to find themselves in a similar position to Liverpool.
“Some people at United are concerned that this year could be ideal timing-wise to sell Fernandes, but that’s an incredibly difficult sell, as it would have been if Liverpool decided not to keep Salah this time last year,” one source in the industry told me.
“There’s also Fernandes himself, who knows he’s going to have massive offers from Saudi clubs, so even if United want him to stay, they might decide there’s not much point fighting too hard to keep a player whose head has been turned.”
Bruno Fernandes remains hugely important for Manchester United
A very real problem for MUFC, of course, is how to replace someone like Fernandes, who has had another outstanding season at Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old has eight goals and 16 assists in the Premier League, and has been remarkably consistent since he joined from Sporting Lisbon.

Given that United have other areas of their squad that already need addressing, they could probably do without the major upheaval of another exit.
Casemiro is leaving on a free transfer, while there are doubts over other first-team players like Harry Maguire, Manuel Ugarte, and others like Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana who are out on loan.
Manchester City centre-back John Stones is reportedly a transfer target for his former club Everton as he’s not expected to sign a new contract at the Etihad Stadium.
The experienced England international has enjoyed a terrific career at Man City, spending ten seasons at the club and helping himself to six Premier League titles, the Champions League, and other major honours in that time.

According to talkSPORT, the 31-year-old is being monitored by Everton ahead of his likely MCFC exit this summer, though we’ve previously been told they can’t afford his wage demands.
Could John Stones return to Everton?
It would undoubtedly be an emotional return if Stones were to go back to Everton after all these years, but he might get better offers elsewhere.
Our information was that Stones had interest from Bayern Munich and other European clubs, so it remains to be seen if EFC can realistically compete with the kind of money they can offer him.
Everton are building an exciting project, however, with the Merseyside giants improving since David Moyes returned as manager.
Jack Grealish is currently on loan at the Toffees from City, so it will be interesting to see if these clubs do business again.
More Man City exits
The report from talkSPORT also casts doubt over Bernardo Silva’s future at City.
As we reported earlier this week, the Portugal international is understood to have informed City of his decision to leave this summer at the end of his contract.
Meanwhile, there’s also some doubt over Rodri’s future, with TEAMtalk claiming he’s put contract talks on hold amid interest from Real Madrid.
Backup goalkeeper James Trafford also seems likely to leave after a lack of playing time, with iNews linking Newcastle with the former Burnley shot-stopper.
Bayern Munich’s honorary president Uli Hoeness says not even €200m would be enough for Liverpool to bring Michael Olise to Anfield this summer. A potential move to Merseyside has been mooted for Olise, after it was announced on Tuesday that Mohamed Salah would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. Salah has reportedly […]
