The Greece international has impressed at current club Club Brugge and this has led to recent interest from Arsenal, as reported by numerous sources.

David Ornstein of the Athletic has claimed that Arsenal are exploring a move for Tzolis, while an old video has now emerged from X account @arsenalbarclays with Tzolis saying he hopes Arsenal come in for him and that he’d be honoured to play for the north London giants…

Do Arsenal need Christos Tzolis?

Tzolis is perhaps not the name most Arsenal fans were expecting to be linked with this summer, but he’s impressed in his time in the Belgian league, and looks like he could at the very least be a good squad player.

That seems to be the role Arsenal have in mind for him, with Ornstein’s report in the Athletic mentioning that the pursuit of Tzolis won’t impact other potential deals such as Morgan Rogers.

In the season just gone, Mikel Arteta rotated between Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli on that left-hand side, so if both players leave then it could make sense to sign a big name like Rogers to be first choice, and someone like Tzolis as a rotation option.

84 G/A in last two seasons: Arsenal’s bargain £35m target eager for PL transfer

13 June 2026 at 16:29

Arsenal reportedly look to be stepping up their interest in the potential transfer of Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis.

The Greece international, valued at around £35m, is said to be keen on having another crack at English football after a previous spell at Norwich City.

That’s according to a report from TEAMtalk, who suggest Tzolis to Arsenal could be on the cards, though they also state that numerous other Premier League clubs are also interested.

Chelsea and Manchester United are also mentioned as potential suitors for the 24-year-old, who they also note has a hugely impressive record of 41 goals and 43 assists across all competitions in the last two seasons.

Is Arsenal target Christos Tzolis the real deal?

Tzolis’ numbers are undoubtedly eye-catching, but it remains to be seen if he can take that kind of form with him from the Belgian league to the Premier League.

It’s always a bit of a gamble bringing in players from less competitive leagues, as Arsenal will know from signing Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon last summer.

The Sweden international was an absolute goal machine in his time in Portugal, scoring 54 goals in 52 games in his final season there, but then just 21 goals in 55 matches in his first campaign at the Emirates Stadium.

Tzolis is a bit younger, and probably wouldn’t be coming in as first choice, so it might be a smarter deal overall.

Arsenal also eyeing other attackers

As per David Ornstein’s post below, Arsenal’s interest in Tzolis won’t impact their pursuit of other players such as Morgan Rogers…

This could mean that AFC can sign Tzolis for relatively cheap to mostly provide a rotation option or a role as an impact sub, while a bigger name like Rogers comes in to start on that left-hand side.

We will likely also see attacking players leaving Arsenal, with Leandro Trossard in advanced talks over joining Besiktas, while Gabriel Martinelli’s inconsistent form might also mean he needs replacing.

Saudi clubs eye Arsenal star as top journalist drops mammoth transfer update

13 June 2026 at 13:45

Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly still interested in Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli as we could see outgoings at the Emirates Stadium this summer.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs in a long transfer news post on X, Arsenal have a number of exciting targets in attack, while they’re also working on offloading players.

Martinelli is one of those, with a move to Saudi Arabia seemingly an option, while Jacobs also mentioned doubts over Leandro Trossard’s future as we reported yesterday that the Belgian winger is in advanced talks over a move to Besiktas.

In his post, Jacobs mentions Arsenal’s interest in Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, as well as bigger names such as Morgan Rogers, Julian Alvarez, Bradley Barcola, Eli Junior Kroupi, and Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga.

What could Arsenal’s squad look like next season?

While some Arsenal fans will undoubtedly feel fond of Martinelli, now could be a good time to sell after the Brazilian’s dip in form.

There seems little doubt at this point that someone like Barcola, Rogers, or Tzolis would represent a significant upgrade on Martinelli, who managed just one Premier League goal last season.

Trossard, meanwhile, also suffered with inconsistent form and is now 31 years of age, so the Gunners probably won’t have many more opportunities to sell.

It’s perhaps also easy to see other outgoings such as Gabriel Jesus, Ben White, and Christian Norgaard, in which case we really could see Mikel Arteta lining up with a very different squad to the one that won the 2025/26 Premier League title.

AFC could perhaps do well to learn a lesson from Liverpool, however, who made sweeping changes to their team last summer after winning the title, only to slump all the way down to 5th after perhaps making too many changes too quickly.

Fabrizio Romano’s exciting update on four Arsenal transfer targets as one deal “advancing”

13 June 2026 at 10:06

Arsenal fans will be excited to hear Fabrizio Romano‘s transfer update on attacking targets such as Bradley Barcola, Morgan Rogers, Christos Tzolis, and Jeremy Monga.

The respected transfer news journalist has posted on X with an update on Arsenal pursuing Tzolis from Club Brugge, as first broken by the Athletic‘s David Ornstein.

According to Romano, Arsenal have made an initial approach for Tzolis, but are also advancing on a deal to sign Leicester City wonderkid Monga.

Arsenal transfer targets show the club’s ambition

Arsenal have just won the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years, whilst reaching only their second ever Champions League final.

However, if Arteta can get some of these exciting names through the door this summer, then we could be about to see a period of real dominance at the Emirates Stadium.

Most of Arsenal’s rivals are changing managers and looking like they could be entering into transitional periods, so this is a real opportunity for the north London giants to get more major trophies under their belt.

Rogers and Barcola are particularly exciting targets that could take the club to the next level, while Tzolis also looks like an underrated talent who could be ideal to replace Leandro Trossard and add squad depth.

Monga, meanwhile, is more of a signing for the future, but would likely be a fine investment to ensure this team can remain competitive for many years to come.

David Ornstein drops double Arsenal transfer update as 14 G/A star could join on the cheap

13 June 2026 at 01:32

David Ornstein has reported that Arsenal are exploring a potential €40m transfer move for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis.

On top of that, Ornstein claims this deal would not impact Arsenal’s interest in bringing in Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers or another attacking target.

As reported in the Athletic, Ornstein claims that Arsenal are looking into this deal, with Tzolis also previously attracting interest from Crystal Palace.

The Greece international scored 13 goals from out wide for Brugge in the season just gone, also contributing one assist, so it looks like he could be a useful addition to Mikel Arteta’s side.

With our story earlier that Leandro Trossard is advancing in talks to join Besiktas, it makes sense that Arsenal are exploring options to replace the Belgian on that side of their front three.

Christos Tzolis could be joined by Morgan Rogers at Arsenal

Tzolis is still only 24 and has shown a lot of potential, but in many ways Arsenal fans will be more excited about Ornstein’s other update.

Rogers has long been linked with the Gunners, but if a reliable reporter like this is confirming the club’s interest then it really will be a serious story to watch.

It seems other players are also being considered by Arsenal, though these have not yet been named.

Tzolis makes sense as one signing to add depth, but AFC supporters will be desperate for more of a star name to come in and really raise the level of Arteta’s squad.

Arsenal won the Premier League title in 2025/26 and came so close to lifting their first Champions League as well, so one or two major signings could be enough to take them even further next term.
