The Suzuki Fronx lands directly at #8 in Pakistan in May.
According to local manufacturers association PAMA, 17,660 new locally assembled vehicles hit Pakistani roads in May, a vigorous +19.4% year-on-year lift. Year-to-date, sales are up 45.5% to 95,382. Note not all manufacturers present in Pakistan are members of PAMA such as Kia, Changan and MG notably and therefore donβt appear in these statistics. Suzuki (+60.1%) brilliantly maintains itself above 50% share, distancing a struggling Toyota (-27.6%) at 19.8%. Honda (+12.6%) and Haval (+36.5%) follow. Tank is up five spots on its inaugural month to #6 and 2% share while Jetour drops one rank to #8.
Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (+74.9%) tightens its grip on the charts with 33.8% share, followed this month by the Suzuki Swift (+109.1%) more than doubling its sales year-on-year. The Sazgar Haval H6 (+36.5%) is down to #3 as a result. We have a new model in the charts: the Suzuki Fronx landing directly at #8 with 3.1% share. Notice also the Tank 500 up 11 spots on April to #13.
