ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the ROG Strix Aiolos SSD Enclosure, a high-performance external SSD enclosure designed for users who need fast data transfers, stable thermals, and easy storage management. The enclosure is built for next-generation NVMe M.2 storage.

The ROG Strix Aiolos uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C interface and supports transfer speeds of up to 20Gbps. This allows quick movement of large game libraries, raw video files, and backups. The enclosure supports M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs in 2280, 2260, and 2242 form factors, as well as M.2 SATA SSDs with B+M key support. This dual compatibility allows users to install both newer NVMe drives and older SATA M.2 SSDs without needing a separate enclosure.

ASUS includes the ROG SSD Dashboard for storage management. The software provides real-time information on SSD status, performance levels, and key metrics through a dedicated interface designed for ROG enclosures. Thermal control is handled through a dual-layer cooling design. Inside the enclosure, a high-efficiency thermal pad pulls heat away from the SSD to help prevent performance drops during sustained workloads. The exterior is coated with a heat-resistant liquid silicone rubber layer that protects the enclosure from dust and smudges while keeping it cool to the touch during extended use.

The ROG Strix Aiolos also features customizable Aura RGB lighting, which can be controlled through a web-based interface. The tool-free push-to-open design allows quick SSD installation and removal. For portability, the enclosure includes a metal hook with a fabric tag that offers five times the tensile durability of the hook used on the ROG Strix Arion. ASUS also bundles an ROG strap and a braided cable for added durability.

The enclosure measures 115.5 x 46 x 15.12 mm and weighs 139 g. It supports Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS 14.4 or later. Power is supplied via 5V DC. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C, while storage temperatures range from -40°C to 60°C. ASUS has not yet announced pricing or availability details for the ROG Strix Aiolos.

Nothing teases vibrant color options for Phone (4a) and Headphone (a)

Nothing seems ready to have a little more fun with its next round of products. In a recent teaser, the company hinted that both the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Headphone (a) could arrive in five different colors. That’s a noticeable shift from the more limited white-and-black approach we saw with the (3a) series, and it suggests the brand may be leaning harder into personality this time around.

The teaser itself is simple but clever. It forms the familiar “(a)” branding using dots in five colors: white, black, pink, yellow, and blue. It doesn’t explicitly confirm which product gets which shade, but it’s clear that color is going to be part of the story.

According to a previous report, the Headphone (a) could launch in white, black, pink, and yellow. That leaves blue as the likely standout option for the Phone (4a), possibly giving the mid-range device its own distinct look instead of overlapping entirely with the headphones.

Compared to the Nothing Phone (3a) lineup, which mostly stuck to safe tones (with blue reserved for the Pro), this would be a more expressive direction. It feels intentional.

As for specs, details are still limited, but there are a few expectations floating around. The Phone (4a) is rumored to feature a refreshed design, improved IP rating for better water and dust resistance, and upgraded internals. There’s also talk of a price increase, possibly up to 30% higher than the previous model, reportedly tied to ongoing DRAM pricing pressures. Whether that sticks will likely depend on how component costs look closer to launch.

On the audio side, the Headphone (a) appears positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Nothing Headphone (1), which currently sits in the premium bracket. The new model is rumored to land around €159 and could include active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and even LDAC support.

Both devices are expected to launch in March, though Nothing hasn’t officially confirmed the date yet.

Discord Enforces Teen Safety Globally, Requiring Face Scans or IDs for Adult Access

Discord will begin rolling out new teen safety features globally in early March, placing all new and existing users into a teen-appropriate experience by default unless they verify they are adults. The update introduces stricter content controls, limited access to age-gated spaces, and new communication rules designed to reduce unwanted contact while keeping user privacy intact.

Under the new system, sensitive images and videos will remain blurred unless a user is age-assured as an adult. Only verified adults can access age-restricted channels, servers, and app commands, speak on stage in servers, or change message request settings. Direct messages from people a user may not know will go into a separate inbox by default, and users will see warning prompts for friend requests from unfamiliar accounts.

To unlock adult features, Discord requires age verification through one of several methods. Users can choose facial age estimation using a video selfie that is processed entirely on their device, or submit a government ID to Discord’s verification partners. Identity documents are deleted quickly, usually immediately after age confirmation. Discord is also deploying an age inference model that runs in the background to help determine whether an account belongs to an adult, without always requiring manual verification. Some users may be asked to complete multiple steps if more information is needed.

Once verified, users receive confirmation via Discord’s official account. Age status is private and cannot be seen by others, and users can view or appeal their assigned age group at any time in account settings.

Discord previously tested this “teen-by-default” approach in the UK and Australia. The company says the global rollout builds on those results. Savannah Badalich, Discord’s head of product policy, said the goal is to give teens stronger protections while allowing verified adults more flexibility, adding that teen safety remains central to Discord’s product design.

Public reaction to the change has been mixed. Some users support tighter controls around messaging and content for teens. Others are concerned about privacy and mandatory age checks. Critics note that recent security incidents show Discord has struggled to keep user data safe. A breach of a third-party support provider in late 2025 exposed government ID photos and personal information for tens of thousands of users when attackers accessed age verification and support ticket data. Discord says about 70,000 users had their ID photos exposed and that it cut off the vendor’s access and is working with law enforcement, but some reports suggest the stolen data could be much larger. Users on social forums have expressed frustration that verification photos, said to be temporary, were still stored and then leaked, raising doubts about how secure the process really is.

The update follows similar moves across the industry. Instagram already places teens into stricter content and messaging settings by default. Snapchat keeps teen accounts private and limits how they can be discovered. TikTok has expanded AI-based age detection to flag underage users. Discord is also launching a Teen Council made up of 10 to 12 users aged 13 to 17 to advise on future safety features, policies, and tools.

In interesting news, Toyota is building its own game engine for the screens inside your car.

Toyota Connected North America, the subsidiary responsible for in-vehicle connectivity, has announced a new gaming engine called Fluorite. It’s designed specifically for automotive systems, where hardware is often less powerful than a typical smartphone or laptop.

What is Toyota’s Flourite engine?

Fluorite is written in C++ and is built to work closely with Google’s cross-platform UI framework, Flutter. That means developers can use Flutter’s Dart language and high-level APIs to build interactive experiences, including games and 3D interfaces, without needing heavy, traditional game engines.

According to Toyota, the engine is optimized to deliver strong performance even on low-end or embedded hardware. It also supports modern graphics APIs like Vulkan, which allows the system to get close to the device’s full hardware-accelerated performance. 

Fluorite also brings some developer-friendly features. It supports a hot reload system similar to Flutter, letting developers see changes within a few frames instead of waiting through long build times. The engine also supports model-based trigger areas, so artists can define touch or click interactions directly inside tools like Blender.

Why does Toyota need a game engine?

So why does a car company need its own game engine?

Toyota says the project started as an attempt to build 3D user interfaces for future vehicles. The team looked at established engines like Unity, but found them too heavy for embedded automotive systems. Licensing costs were also a concern. In the end, building a lightweight, in-house solution made more sense.

More importantly, Toyota is marketing Fluorite as a fully featured open-source engine. As a result, even if the automaker won’t work on games, it gives an opportunity to independent and enthusiast developers.

Apple is allegedly reusing iPhone 16e’s mold for the upcoming 17e

Apple may not be planning much of an upgrade for the iPhone 17e, at least if the latest leaks are to be believed. According to a Weibo leaker and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the next “e” model could end up being more of a quiet refresh than a meaningful redesign.

Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo claims the iPhone 17e is essentially the iPhone 16e with one major internal change: the new A19 chip. The leaker says there are no notable updates to the display, Face ID system, or overall hardware features.

In fact, they go as far as saying Apple hasn’t even changed the phone’s mold, which means the physical design and dimensions will remain the same.

That assessment lines up closely with what Mark Gurman is reporting. In his latest comments, Gurman largely confirms that the iPhone 17e will focus on internal upgrades rather than visible changes.

The phone is expected to run on the A19 chipset and will reportedly gain MagSafe support. The latter was missing from the iPhone 16e and was a common point of criticism from users.

Beyond the processor, Gurman says the iPhone 17e will also feature Apple’s latest in-house wireless technology, including the C1X cellular modem and the N1 wireless chip. These upgrades fit Apple’s ongoing strategy of reducing its reliance on third-party suppliers.

Design-wise, the iPhone 17e will still skip the Dynamic Island and stick to a notch-style layout like the 16e. Expect no dramatic visual changes, and likely the same screen size and overall look.

As for pricing, both Fixed Focus Digital and Gurman suggest there will be no increase. If true, the iPhone 17e will launch at the same $599 price point as its predecessor. Gurman also notes that the launch could happen soon, with one leak pointing to a February 19 debut.

The Huawei Pura X2 is expected to launch in China soon. The phone was initially pegged for a March debut; however, recent reports have said the launch has been pushed back to April. Now, A new leak has shared more details about the upcoming foldable.

According to tipster Experience more (体验more on Weibo), the device will feature a 7.69-inch inner display with a WQHD+ resolution. The outer display is said to measure 5.5 inches. This is a clear upgrade over the original Huawei Pura X, which came with a 6.3-inch inner screen and a much smaller 3.5-inch cover display.

The leak also claims that the Pura X2 will be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9030 chipset. In addition to the larger displays, the foldable is expected to gain a telephoto camera, which was not highlighted in earlier leaks. Previous reports have already suggested that the device will offer high-end memory and storage options, with configurations going up to 20GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The Pura X2 is also said to run HarmonyOS 6.1 and launch in multiple color options, including blue, black, green, orange, purple, and white.

Snapdragon X2 Elite PCs are still a few months away from reaching users’ hands. We know that Qualcomm is betting big on it, and new benchmark results for the X2 Elite suggest the company is close to closing performance gaps with Apple.

The numbers come from early testing of a pre-production Asus Zenbook shared by the YouTube channel Hardware Canucks. Asus allowed the outlet to run a set of CPU- and productivity-focused benchmarks on a machine powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite.

To note, the laptop is running early firmware and drivers, and the silicon itself isn’t final. So, consider these results are just a snapshot of what the chip is capable of.

Even so, the results are interesting. Qualcomm’s newest chip was tested at 31W, which puts it just 5W higher than Apple’s M5, capped at 26W in these comparisons.

Apple is still leading in single-core performance 

Despite that relatively small power gap, the Snapdragon X2 Elite managed to outperform the M5 in three out of five benchmarks, while also pulling well ahead of the first-generation Snapdragon X Elite.

For instance, the X2 Elite performed extremely well in Blender and HandBrake, completing the tasks noticeably faster than Apple’s M5. However, Apple still leads in single-core performance.

In Cinebench 2024’s single-core test, the M5 scored 200 points, while the X2 Elite topped out at 146. Apple’s chip is roughly 37 percent faster in this specific scenario, even though Qualcomm’s new silicon shows a sizable jump over the original X Elite.

In the multi-core test, however, the Snapdragon X2 Elite posted a score of 1,432, beating the M5’s 1,153 and leaving the older Snapdragon X Elite far behind.

Beyond benchmarks, there’s a big unanswered question around battery life. The YouTuber didn’t share any runtime test results, so we’re left with the official claim of 43 percent better efficiency than its predecessor. Until commercial laptops arrive with finalized software, it’s hard to say how these performance gains will translate to everyday use.

One of the most immediate changes you’ll feel with the Galaxy S26 Ultra is its ergonomics. Samsung is reportedly moving away from the sharp, boxy corners that defined the S23 and S24 eras. Instead, the S26 Ultra will feature slightly more rounded corners, making the massive 6.9-inch device much more comfortable to hold for extended periods.

Leaked renders also suggest the phone will be incredibly sleek, measuring just 7.9mm in thickness and weighing around 214 grams. For context, this would make it the thinnest Ultra flagship Samsung has ever produced. The build will likely stick with a high-grade titanium frame and the next generation of Corning Gorilla Armor to maintain its rugged durability while shedding some bulk.

A Powerhouse Leap: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Under the hood, the S26 Ultra is set to be a performance monster.  It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (specifically the “For Galaxy” overclocked edition). Early benchmarks indicate a significant leap in both CPU and GPU performance, with clock speeds potentially reaching up to 4.74 GHz.

To support heavy multitasking and the ever-growing suite of Galaxy AI features, Samsung is rumored to bump the RAM up to 16GB of LPDDR5X on higher-tier models. Storage options will likely remain consistent, starting at 256GB and topping out at 1TB, though rumors suggest Samsung may officially kill off the 128GB base model across the entire S26 lineup.

Display Innovation

Samsung continues to lead the industry in display tech. The S26 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel using the new M14 OLED materials, which offer better power efficiency and color accuracy. Peak brightness is expected to hit a staggering 3,000 nits, ensuring perfect visibility even in the harshest Mumbai sun.

The “coolest” rumored feature, however, is Flex Magic Pixel technology. This is an integrated privacy feature that can narrow viewing angles on command, preventing onlookers from seeing sensitive content on your screen—a feature that will surely appeal to business professionals.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to ship with One UI 8.5-based Android 16 preinstalled. Likely, it will be treated with up to 7 years of Android OS and security updates. In terms of color options, the S26 Ultra is expected to arrive in shades, such as black, white, blue, and purple.

Driver and Performance

The Unicrom uses a single 10mm beryllium-plated dynamic driver. The beryllium coating improves stiffness and control, helping reduce distortion and improve clarity. The driver covers a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz, with a sensitivity rating of 101dB ± 3dB SPL/mW and an impedance of 32 ohms. Distortion is rated at under 0.5 percent, ensuring clean playback even at higher volumes.

Instead of using multiple drivers, the Unicrom relies on careful tuning. The sound signature is balanced, with punchy bass, clear mids, and smooth treble that stays easy on the ears. This makes it suitable for long listening sessions and daily use across different music genres.

Build and Design

Oppo has officially started talking about the Find N6 foldable. In a recent Weibo post, Zhou Yibao, head of Oppo’s Find series, revealed that he attended an internal product event for the upcoming Oppo Find N6. 

According to Zhou, the atmosphere inside the company is very confident. After sitting through the full product introduction, he said employees felt reassured about where Oppo’s foldable strategy is heading next.

The Find N6 is expected to debut after the Lunar New Year, and Zhou made it clear that Oppo isn’t just chasing incremental upgrades this time. Instead, the company wants the Find N6 to be “more powerful, yet still lightweight and thin.”

Thunderobot has launched its latest Mix Pro II mini PC in China. The compact desktop system features Intel’s latest Core Ultra 200H “Arrow Lake H” processors and targets users looking for AI-accelerated performance in a small, visually striking package.

The Mix Pro II comes in three configurations. The base model pairs the Core Ultra 5 225H with 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The mid variant upgrades to the Core Ultra 7 255H, while the top model features the Core Ultra 9 285H with 64GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The top-tier Core Ultra 9 285H processor is a 16-core, 16-thread chip with a boost frequency of 5.4GHz and 24MB L3 cache. It offers up to 99 TOPS of AI computing power. Thunderobot supports up to 65W sustained performance in Performance Mode.

Sony PS6 could feature 30GB of RAM, claims new leak

According to hardware insider Kepler_L2, the next PlayStation could ship with 30GB of GDDR7 RAM. That’s higher than earlier speculation pointing toward 24GB, and noticeably above the 16GB found in the current-generation PlayStation 5.

Why 30GB is a big deal

The leak claims Sony may use ten 3GB GDDR7 modules, delivering up to 640 GB/s of bandwidth on a 160-bit bus. For context, the PS5 tops out at 448 GB/s. On paper, that’s a serious increase in memory throughput.

What does that actually translate to? Potentially:

  • Larger, more detailed game worlds
  • Heavier ray tracing workloads
  • More consistent 4K performance
  • Better AI-based upscaling techniques
  • Extra headroom for developers over a long console cycle

It’s also worth noting that other rumors have mentioned a new AMD APU, possibly based on future Zen 6 CPU cores and next-gen RDNA graphics. While those details are still speculative, the memory configuration would fit that kind of hardware ambition.

The cost problem

Here’s where things get complicated. GDDR7 isn’t cheap right now. Demand from AI infrastructure and data centers has tightened supply, and memory pricing has been volatile. If Sony really commits to 30GB of high-speed memory, that adds up quickly.

Some community discussions argue that 20GB might be enough, especially if it helps keep the console’s launch price under control. A more aggressive memory configuration could mean pushing past the $600 mark, maybe even closer to $700 depending on market conditions at launch.

Of course, Sony also has to think long term. A console typically needs to stay relevant for six to seven years. Cutting memory early might save money upfront, but it could limit performance toward the end of the generation. That’s likely the internal balancing act happening behind the scenes.

For now, this is just a leak. Manufacturing timelines floating around suggest a possible 2027 or 2028 release, which means plenty can change between now and then. Still, if the 30GB figure turns out to be accurate, it would signal that Sony is prioritizing longevity and technical headroom, even if that comes with pricing pressure.

Sony WF-1000XM6 spec leak reveals key improvements days before launch

Sony’s next flagship earbuds, the WF-1000XM6, are officially launching on February 12, 2026, but thanks to a fresh leak, we already have a pretty solid idea of what’s coming.

The details come from well-known insider Billbil-kun, who has a strong track record with Sony launches. And if this leak holds up, the XM6 looks like a focused refinement rather than a dramatic overhaul, but with some meaningful upgrades where it matters.

The biggest change appears to be the new QN3e processor, which is reportedly three times faster than the chip used in the WF-1000XM5. That extra processing power should translate into smarter, more responsive active noise cancellation.

Sony is also increasing the microphone count from six to eight adaptive mics. Combined with an updated adaptive noise-canceling optimizer and three ambient sound modes, the XM6 should handle shifting environments more smoothly — whether you’re commuting, walking outdoors, or sitting in a café.

On the sound side, Sony seems to be refining the internal audio chain rather than reinventing it. The XM6 reportedly gets a new driver unit, along with an upgraded DAC and amplifier. The goal? Better clarity, improved dynamics, and more controlled bass response.

Support for Hi-Res Wireless via LDAC is expected to remain, along with DSEE Extreme for upscaling compressed tracks. Some reports also mention a 10-band EQ option in the app, giving users more control over tuning.

Featbone conductionures like 360 Reality Audio with head tracking and adaptive Ambient Sound are also expected to return, with improvements driven by the new processor.

Sony appears to be focusing on comfort as well. The earbuds are said to have a more ergonomic shape, improved airflow, and redesigned insulated ear tips for better passive isolation.

Battery life reportedly remains the same as the XM5: up to 8 hours with ANC on, plus another 16 hours from the charging case.

Sony is also improving call quality with beamforming microphones, bone conduction sensors, wind noise reduction, and AI-based voice processing. IPX4 water resistance and multi-device connectivity should carry over as well.

Qualcomm is said to be working on the next-generation Snapdragon 8-series chipsets. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the brand is working on two variants with part numbers SM8950 and SM8975, which are tentatively dubbed Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Elite Gen 6 Pro, respectively. In a new Weibo post, the same source has revealed a few more details about the next-generation Snapdragon 8-series chips.

Among the two, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is described as the more advanced variant, supporting LPDDR6 memory along with a fully enabled GPU configuration and a more complete cache setup. This suggests that Qualcomm could differentiate the two processors not only by performance but also by memory standards and graphics capabilities. The higher-end version is expected to carry a significantly higher cost due to the advanced hardware configuration.

The Vivo V70 and V70 Elite are set to launch in India on February 19, and for the first time, the V-series is gunning for a slice of the upper-midrange performance pie. These aren’t just iterative upgrades over the V60 series.

They mark a shift in Vivo’s strategy, bringing flagship-class specs like Snapdragon 8-series chips, a 6,500mAh battery, Zeiss-branded optics, and 90W fast charging, while still staying under the ₹50,000 price ceiling.

Two models

Vivo has divided the lineup into two distinct tiers. The standard Vivo V70 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It targets performance-conscious users in the upper midrange category. In contrast, the Vivo V70 Elite debuts as the first V-series phone powered by a Snapdragon 8-series processor; the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

Geekbench scores for the Elite show 1,973 points in single-core and 4,863 points in multi-core tests. The phone includes 12GB of RAM and will ship with Android 16 and OriginOS 6. Vivo has confirmed four years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches for the series.

Display and design

Both phones feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a resolution classified as 1.5K. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 459 PPI pixel density, and 5,000 nits of peak brightness. The front-facing camera is housed in a centered punch-hole cutout.

Vivo claims the phones have the narrowest bezels in their price segment, measuring just 1.25 mm. The design introduces a flat-edge frame and a new square camera module. The V70 will come in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while the V70 Elite adds Sand Beige and Authentic Black to the mix.

Cameras

Both the V70 and V70 Elite feature a 50MP main camera using the Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization. They also include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with the Sony IMX882 sensor, supporting 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. The rear setup is completed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

The front camera is a 50MP unit with a 92° field of view and supports seamless zoom between 0.8x and 2x. ZEISS has co-developed all camera modules.

Vivo also adds a range of AI photography features, including AI Magic Weather, AI Audio Noise Eraser, and AI Petal Shower Portrait. The India-exclusive AI Holi Portrait will be available from February 19 to March 15.

Battery and extras

According to Brar, the Oppo Find N6 will launch on March 17 in China as well as select global markets, including Southeast Asian markets and Europe. He has specifically mentioned that the device will not be released in India. He added that the device will be available in Titanium and Orange color options.

According to reports, the Oppo Find N6 will arrive with an 8.12-inch foldable LTPO OLED screen on the inside, with support for 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it will have a 6.62-inch cover display, and both screens will have 20-megapixel front-facing cameras.

Under the hood, the Find N6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a roughly 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and wireless charging support. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 200-megapixel camera accompanied by a pair of 50-megapixel sensors.

The Find N6 is also expected to arrive with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, an AI-powered stylus, and satellite connectivity (only in China). The N6 is said to be thinner and lighter than its previous generation, but the exact measurements are not known yet. Is One UI 8.5 a big upgrade for Samsung devices?

Samsung has already released the One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series, which shows it’s a useful upgrade rather than just an incremental one with minor changes. While both are based on Android 16, the One UI 8.5 uses a newer QPR2 development build, allowing Samsung to include deeper system-level features.

The Quick Settings panel in One UI 8.5 is deeply customizable, allowing users to adjust the layout of every toggle and slider. The app icons (at least Samsung’s apps) have been updated to feature a subtle 3D effect. Some first-party apps also show a similar effect. The lock screen is now smarter and more personalized. One UI 8.5 adds a partial-screen recording mode that captures a specific area of your phone rather than the entire screen. The Settings app features a few new options, including a failed authentication lock that automatically locks the device when it detects suspicious behavior, and an intelligent blocking feature that blocks apps that send too many ad notifications.

The new software also improves the Photo Assist feature to allow interrupted image generation without needing to save each iteration. There are a host of other improvements to One UI 8.5, making it a well-rounded package rather than just an incremental upgrade. So, One UI 8.5 is indeed a big upgrade, which will start rolling out to older Galaxy devices a few weeks after its initial release on the Galaxy S26 series later this month.

A new leak suggests that it could be equipped with the best set of cameras ever seen on a foldable phone.

To recall, the Vivo X Fold 5 from last year featured a Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS support in its rear camera setup. It was accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The camera setup did not feature a multispectral sensor.

The multispectral sensor, which is expected to be available on the Vivo X Fold 6, will be responsible for color accuracy. At present, there is no clarity on whether the X Fold 6’s 200-megapixel camera will use a Samsung or an OmniVision sensor. It is also not known whether it will be used for the primary or periscope telephoto camera.

The listing identifies the device as a smartphone manufactured by Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd., and also mentions its SAR value of 0.863 / 1.6 W/kg. While the certification does not disclose hardware specifications, such approvals typically indicate that the device is nearing commercial availability.

The Poco X8 Pro has previously surfaced in other regulatory databases as well. The device was earlier spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform and the EEC database in Europe. Casio has introduced two new watches in its Baby-G series: BGD10KH-1 in matte black and BGD10KH-7 in off-white. Researchers turn waste heat into computing power thanks to breakthrough silicon technology

Researchers at MIT have found an unexpected way to make use of something electronics usually try hard to get rid of: heat. Instead of treating excess heat as a problem, the team showed that it can be used to carry out certain mathematical operations on its own, without any additional electrical power.

The work focuses on silicon structures that are only about the size of a dust particle. These structures don’t contain transistors or moving parts. Instead, they rely entirely on how heat naturally flows through solid material. According to the researchers, that flow can be shaped carefully enough to perform matrix-vector multiplication, a core operation used in many machine-learning models.

The study was led by MIT undergraduate Caio Silva, working with research scientist Giuseppe Romano. In simulations, the heat-based structures were able to carry out the calculations with accuracy above 99 percent

Here’s how it works

The key idea is that temperature differences act as inputs, and the resulting heat diffusion produces the output automatically.

To make this work, the researchers used a design approach known as inverse design. Rather than sketching the structures manually, they defined the mathematical operation they wanted and let software generate complex silicon geometries that would guide heat in just the right way. Many of these designs end up looking irregular and porous, but every feature plays a role in controlling how heat spreads. Because heat can only flow from hot regions to cooler ones, the team also had to split calculations into positive and negative parts and process them separately.

This isn’t meant to replace conventional processors. Heat moves much more slowly than electrical signals, and the structures can only perform fixed operations. But the idea could be useful in very specific situations, such as passive thermal sensing, on-chip temperature mapping, or simple signal processing that doesn’t justify extra power consumption.

As Silva noted, most electronic systems see heat as wasted energy. This work takes the opposite view and asks whether that heat can be made to do something useful before it disappears.

It’s still early research, but it offers a different way of thinking about computation, one where heat isn’t just a side effect, but part of the process itself.

The Fire Package series has been a recurring annual release since 2004 and is positioned as a symbolic watch for people starting new chapters, whether entering new careers or life stages.

The AWG-M100FP-1A1 and GW-2320FP-1A1 both feature all-black finishes with special edition packaging designed for gifting. Each model uses resin and aluminum construction with 20-bar water resistance and standard G-Shock shock protection.

The AWG-M100FP-1A1 combines analog and digital displays, showing time via two hands alongside three digital windows for date, day, and world time. Tough Solar charging powers the watch for six months without light exposure, extending to 18 months in power-saving mode.

The GW-2320FP-1A1 offers a fully digital interface across three displays with a white LED Super Illuminator backlight. Measuring 15.6 mm thick and weighing 64 grams, it provides extended battery life: 11 months without solar charging or 26 months with power saving activated.

Both models include Multiband 6 radio-controlled timekeeping, syncing across Japan, North America, Europe, and China. Additional features cover world time for 48 cities, five alarms, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and an automatic calendar. When radio sync is unavailable, accuracy remains within ±15 seconds monthly.

Japan pricing sets the AWG-M100FP-1A1 at ¥31,900 and the GW-2320FP-1A1 at ¥24,200. International release details remain unannounced.

In other news, Casio has also rolled out the all-black G-Shock GX-56UBB-1 in parts of Europe at €159, matching the older GX-56BB-1’s price. While the rugged exterior remains unchanged, the update brings a new module, an LED backlight for better efficiency, and Tough Solar power with extended battery life.

Ayaneo has been revealing bits and pieces about its handheld smartphone over the past few months. The company has now finally announced some concrete details of the Pocket Play, including its design, display, and other specifications.

As you might know, the Pocket Play doesn’t look like a typical slab phone. It uses a classic side-sliding design, and hidden inside is a full-function built-in game controller. Slide it open, and the device instantly shifts into game mode.

The front of the device is dominated by a 6.8-inch OLED display. It has no punch hole or notch to break immersion. It runs at a 2400 × 1080 resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio and supports 120Hz, 144Hz, and even 165Hz refresh rates. 

Inside, the Pocket Play is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300, built on TSMC’s third-generation 4nm process. The chip uses an octa-core CPU design paired with Arm’s Immortalis-G720 GPU. Ayaneo has also added an active air-cooling system to help keep performance stable during long gaming sessions.

Haptics and audio haven’t been ignored either. The phone includes an 0815 X-axis linear motor with four vibration modes for more nuanced feedback, along with stereo dual speakers aimed at making games and media feel more immersive.

Despite its gaming focus, the Pocket Play doesn’t give up everyday phone features. It supports full communication functions, includes a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with DisplayPort 1.4 video output, a fingerprint reader built into the power button, and a combined SIM and microSD card slot.

Casio has released the G-Shock GX-56UBB-1 across Europe following its Japanese launch. The watch is now available through official online stores in the Netherlands, Spain, France, and Germany for €159, matching the original price of the 2016 GX-56BB-1.

The GX-56UBB-1 maintains the exterior design of the classic GX-56BB-1, retaining the large all-black case and rugged construction. Changes focus entirely on internal components. Casio upgraded the module from 3221 to 3545 and replaced the electroluminescent backlight with an LED system that offers improved power efficiency and low-light visibility.

The watch measures 55.5 × 53.6 × 17.5 mm and weighs 88 g. The case, bezel, and band are made of resin. It features shock-resistant construction and is water-resistant up to 20 bar. The display is protected by mineral glass. The resin band fits wrist sizes from 150 to 220 mm.

The GX-56UBB-1 runs on Casio’s Tough Solar system. It includes a battery-level indicator and a power-saving mode that turns off the display when the watch is left in the dark. Battery life is rated at up to 13 months under normal use without light exposure after charging, or up to 27 months when stored in complete darkness with power saving enabled.

Features include world time for 31 time zones, covering 48 cities, plus Coordinated Universal Time, with daylight saving time control. The stopwatch offers 1/100 second precision with a maximum measurement of 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59.99 seconds. The countdown timer supports up to 24 hours. The watch also includes five daily alarms, an hourly signal, and a fully automatic calendar that runs through 2099.

Timekeeping accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds per month. Casio has not confirmed if or when this model will launch in the US or other regions outside Europe.

World’s first sodium-ion passenger EV holds 90% charge at -40°C, delivers over 400 km range

The EV industry has reached a quiet but important milestone. For the first time, a mass-produced passenger EV is set to use a sodium-ion battery, a technology long discussed but never deployed at this scale. The car in question is the Changan Nevo A06, developed by Changan Automobile and powered by batteries from CATL.

The announcement follows extensive winter testing in Inner Mongolia, where temperatures regularly drop well below what most EVs are designed to handle. According to the companies involved, the Nevo A06 was able to charge normally at around -30°C and continued operating at temperatures as low as -50°C. At -40°C, the battery reportedly retained more than 90% of its original capacity, a level of performance that is difficult to achieve with conventional lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.

The vehicle uses CATL’s Naxtra sodium-ion battery pack, which the company says is the first of its kind certified for use in passenger cars. The initial version has a capacity of 45 kWh and delivers a claimed range of just over 400 km on China’s CLTC test cycle.

On paper, that puts it close to entry-level LFP-based EVs, but with far better cold-weather behavior. CATL says the pack can deliver several times more power than comparable LFP batteries at sub-zero temperatures, helping maintain acceleration and cabin heating without heavy range loss.

Sodium-ion batteries have drawn attention partly because they avoid lithium altogether. Sodium is cheaper, more abundant, and less vulnerable to supply-chain disruptions. Safety is another factor: CATL says the Naxtra cells are far more resistant to thermal runaway and have passed extreme abuse tests without catching fire.

CATL describes this as the beginning of a “dual-chemistry” phase for EVs, where sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries coexist depending on climate, cost, and use case. The Nevo A06 is expected to launch in China around mid-2026, with sodium-ion packs eventually spreading across Changan’s wider lineup.

For now, this remains a China-focused rollout. Still, it’s a clear signal that sodium-ion batteries are no longer just a lab experiment. In cold regions especially, they may soon offer a practical alternative to lithium-based EVs, without the usual compromises.

The HIVE Dashcam M1 upgrades to 2K Quad HD resolution (2560×1440) using a 4MP sensor and widens the field of view to 140°. Built-in GPS logs speed, location, and route data directly into video files. A 0.96-inch screen displays connection and storage status, while voice commands enable hands-free operation. The 3-axis G-sensor automatically protects emergency clips, and a super capacitor improves heat resistance. Storage expands to 512GB.

The flagship HIVE Dashcam F1 adds a dual-camera system with AI-powered Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features. These include lane departure warnings, forward collision alerts, and front vehicle movement detection. The front camera records 4K video via a 5MP sensor, while the rear captures Full HD. A Sony STARVIS IMX335 sensor enhances low-light performance. The F1 includes a 2.4-inch display, Wi-Fi 6, GPS tracking, 150° field of view, and 512GB storage support. Oppo will unveil the Oppo K14x on Feb. 10 in India. Ahead of its launch, the standard Oppo K14 has been spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification, revealing its existence for the first time. It appears that the device may debut in a month or two.

As can be seen above, the Oppo K14 and K14x have received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority. These listings have revealed their model numbers as CPH2869 and CPH2871.

Unfortunately, the rumor mill hasn’t revealed anything significant about the standard K14 yet. Back in December 2025, the same device was approved by Singapore’s IMDA authority.

Devices that appear in the Bluetooth SIG database are known to go official within a timespan of around one month. Therefore, it may break cover as early as next month (March), and India could be one of the first countries to receive it, just like the K13 from last year.

To recall, the Oppo K13 came with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging, and a 50-megapixel main camera. It remains to be seen whether the K14 packs a larger battery than its predecessor. 

As far as the Oppo K14x is concerned, Oppo has already confirmed that it will feature an LCD panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging and offer 128GB of built-in storage. It will feature a 0-megapixel main camera. The phone will come in two shades, such as Ice Blue and Prism Violet. Likely, it will cost around Rs 15,000 in the country.

Honestly, both phones share nearly identical specs, but the 15 Ultra holds a slight advantage over the 11 Pro.

iQOO equips the 15 Ultra with a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED flat panel using Samsung’s M14 material. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and reaches a local peak brightness of 8000 nits. It also includes hardware-level eye protection and DC dimming at full brightness.

Red Magic 11 Pro uses a 6.85-inch 1.5K BOE X10 OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2000 nits peak brightness. It features 2592Hz PWM dimming and a 960Hz touch sampling rate.

iQOO 15 Ultra is a clear winner here.

Controls and Haptics

The iQOO 15 Ultra features pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, a 4000Hz instant touch sampling rate, and a zoned touch system that adapts to different game interfaces. The gyroscope operates at 500Hz and uses a self-developed algorithm to improve motion input accuracy.

Red Magic 11 Pro has 520Hz shoulder triggers, a 3000Hz touch sampling chip from Synaptics, and software-level controls that adjust input latency across different games. Both phones also support 4D vibration.

This round is more of a tie since both phones deliver nearly identical specs.

Thermal Performance

The iQOO 15 Ultra introduces the Ice Dome Cooling System, which includes a 17x17mm fan with 59 blades, a vapor chamber with 8000mm² coverage, and layered graphite for efficient heat dissipation. It carries TÜV Rheinland’s high-reliability thermal certification and supports IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Red Magic counters with a hybrid liquid and air cooling system that uses fluorinated coolant and an upgraded Turbo Fan 4.0 that spins at 24,000 rpm. The system includes a visible cooling loop and integrates Liquid Metal 3.0 and a 4D vapor chamber for improved cooling efficiency.

Red Magic stands out for its aggressive and unique approach, while iQOO combines industrial-grade cooling with water resistance and practical durability.

Battery and Charging

iQOO fits a 7400mAh single-cell battery into the 15 Ultra. It supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, along with global direct-drive power that keeps performance stable while charging.

Red Magic offers an 8000mAh battery with 80W charging in the Pro and a 7500mAh unit with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging in the Pro+. Both phones support PPS and PD fast charging protocols.

Red Magic has the edge in overall battery capacity and faster wireless charging.

Camera Systems

The iQOO 15 Ultra features a triple 50MP setup on the back with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 3x periscope lens with a 1/1.95-inch IMX882 sensor, and an ultra-wide shooter. Both the main and periscope modules support CIPA 4.5-grade OIS. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

iQOO completely flips the script here with its camera-focused experience, especially with Vivo’s imaging algorithm support, which isn’t as refined on Red Magic phones, despite their higher-megapixel optics.

Moto Buds 2 Plus renders reveal case redesign and two color options

Motorola looks set to update its TWS lineup, with a new leak pointing to what appears to be the Moto Buds 2 Plus. The earbuds haven’t been announced yet, but fresh renders suggest the company is sticking close to a formula that already worked.

The images published by Android Headlines show the Moto Buds 2 Plus in blue and white finishes. At a glance, the earbuds themselves don’t look drastically different from the previous Moto Buds Plus, which hints that Motorola is aiming for refinement rather than a full redesign.

One detail that stands out is the continued “Sound by Bose” branding. The partnership with Bose was one of the stronger points of the original model, particularly for tuning and noise cancellation, and it appears Motorola isn’t moving away from that strategy. While there’s no confirmation yet on specific audio features, it’s reasonable to expect similar sound characteristics, possibly with some quiet improvements under the hood.

The earbuds keep a stem-style design, which remains popular for both comfort and call quality. The bigger visual change shows up in the charging case. Instead of the flat, horizontal layout used earlier, the Moto Buds 2 Plus appear to store vertically. It also suggests Motorola may be trying to slim down the case profile a bit.

Pricing details haven’t been confirmed, but current expectations put the Moto Buds 2 Plus around the $199.99 mark, roughly where the previous generation launched. If that holds, it would keep the earbuds positioned as a relatively accessible premium option, especially compared to higher-priced models from Sony, Apple, or Bose itself.

Motorola hasn’t commented on the leak, which isn’t unusual at this stage. Xiaomi’s detachable magnetic lens for flagship phones could arrive as early as this year

Xiaomi’s experimental magnetic camera lens module might be inching closer to reality. According to recent rumors, the company has begun early manufacturing work on the detachable lens system that first appeared as a concept at MWC 2025.

The blogger Digital Chat Station recently claims that “the magnetic lens has started mass production and could be seen as early as this year (TBD).” While the post didn’t name a specific manufacturer, the most likely candidate is the modular optical system Xiaomi teased alongside the Xiaomi 15 series.

Lei Jun demonstrated the setup during Xiaomi 15 series launch event. At the time, it was described as an internal pre-research project, but it drew significant attention from both the smartphone and camera industries.

At its core, the system is a magnetically detachable lens built around a custom Micro Four Thirds (M4/3) sensor and an aspherical lens group. Xiaomi says it can deliver a full 100-megapixel resolution, an equivalent 35mm focal length, and a bright f/1.4 aperture.

That f/1.4 aperture should make it a low-light standout, while the classic 35mm field of view offers a perspective closer to the human eye, ideal for portraits and street photography, with more natural-looking background blur.

More importantly, Xiaomi says the modular optical system uses near-instant laser data transmission at speeds of up to 10Gbps, enabling lossless RAW transfer between the lens and the phone.

The system can also tap into Xiaomi’s AISP computational photography stack, powered by a large on-device model. The company claims this unlocks features like UltraRAW capture and up to 16 stops of dynamic range.

There’s no complicated wiring or pairing involved, and the lens doesn’t need a separate battery. It simply snaps onto the phone and is compact enough to carry around without much hassle.

If Xiaomi can deliver on its promises, the real-world experience could even outpace some traditional Micro Four Thirds setups, especially with AI-driven image processing in the mix.

Lenovo has updated its ThinkBook 14+ and 16+ laptops with new configurations powered by the Ryzen AI 7 H 450 processor. Both models are now available in China through JD.com with a 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD variant priced at 6,999 yuan ($1,008).

The updated models feature AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 H 450 processor with 8 cores, 16 threads, a 5.1GHz boost clock, and an integrated NPU capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI compute. Lenovo uses the integrated Radeon 860M GPU based on RDNA 3.5 architecture for graphics. Both laptops support high-performance outputs, with the 14+ rated at up to 80W and the 16+ at up to 83W.

Lenovo has equipped both models with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM running at 8533MT/s and 1TB PCIe 4.0 TLC SSDs. The laptops also support dual M.2 2280 slots with expansion up to 8TB. Each device houses a 99.9Wh battery and supports fast charging using a bundled 140W GaN adapter. Lenovo claims a 60% charge in 30 minutes when powered off.

Both laptops feature a ForcePad haptic touchpad, a 1.5mm key travel keyboard with a fingerprint power button, an IR camera with a privacy shutter, MagicBay accessory support, and a four-speaker Dolby Atmos setup.

The design remains consistent across both models with an all-metal chassis covering the A, C, and D surfaces. Each supports a 180-degree hinge design and comes in Starry White and Moonlight Gray colors.

For connectivity, these include two USB4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL (48Gbps), RJ45 Ethernet, SD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, and support for Wi-Fi 7. Lenovo has also included a TGX graphics dock interface for external GPU expansion.

The main difference lies in the display. The ThinkBook 14+ features a 14.5-inch 3K panel with a resolution of 3072 x 1920. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and reaches up to 500 nits of brightness.

The ThinkBook 16+ uses a larger 16-inch 3.2K panel with a resolution of 3200 x 2000. It offers a higher 165Hz refresh rate while maintaining the same color accuracy and brightness levels as the 14+ model. The larger body also allows space for a numeric keypad on the keyboard.

Both laptops are Pantone Validated, Pantone SkinTone Validated, and carry TÜV low blue light certifications.

Samsung’s upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Series has appeared in the database of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), confirming new details about its wireless charging features. The listings, first spotted by 9To5Google, reveal that all three models support the latest Qi 2.2.1 standard.

The listings show the Galaxy S26 (SM-K772), Galaxy S26+ (SM-K777), and Galaxy S26 Ultra (SM-K778). While the certification confirms support for Qi 2.2.1, the same standard used by the Google Pixel 10 series, it also highlights an important limitation: no built-in magnetic Qi2 support.

Samsung is using the Base Power Profile (BPP) instead of the Magnetic Power Profile (MPP). This means the phones do not have built-in magnets. As a result, Qi2 magnetic chargers, power banks, and wallets will not attach directly to the phone. Users will need a magnetic protective case to enable proper alignment and attachment.

Despite this, wireless charging speeds are expected to improve. Reports suggest up to 20W wireless charging on the Galaxy S26 and S26+, and up to 25W on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, likely achievable only with compatible magnetic cases.

Samsung is also preparing a new Qi 2.2–2.2-compatible wireless charging puck designed for the S26 series, expected to launch soon.

If multiple components are replaced in a single visit, the labor fee applies only once. Under warranty, customers can get the screen, battery, motherboard, and camera replaced at no additional cost.

No Humans, Just 16 Claude AI Agents Built a Fully Functional C Compiler, Shocking Developers

Anthropic has revealed a striking experiment where AI systems worked together to build a complete C compiler almost entirely on their own. Led by researcher Nicholas Carlini, the project shows how far autonomous AI collaboration has progressed in real-world software development.

How the Experiment Worked

The compiler was developed over two weeks using 16 independent Claude Opus 4.6. Each AI agent ran inside its own Docker container, cloned the same Git repository, and worked without a central controller or human manager. Tasks were picked automatically, conflicts were resolved through Git, and code was pushed upstream without supervision. In total, the agents produced around 100,000 lines of Rust code across nearly 2,000 coding sessions, at an API cost of about $20,000.

What the Compiler Can Do

The result is a fully functional, open-source C compiler written from scratch. It can successfully compile the Linux 6.9 kernel for x86, ARM, and RISC-V architectures, and handle major open-source projects like PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, and FFmpeg. On the demanding GCC Torture Test Suite, it achieved a 99% pass rate. As a symbolic milestone, it even compiled and ran Doom, a long-standing benchmark for compiler capability.

Why This Matters

This project demonstrates that AI systems can now self-coordinate, manage large codebases, and deliver production-grade infrastructure software. While the compiler still has limitations and is not yet a full GCC replacement, the experiment marks a major step toward long-running, autonomous AI-driven software engineering.

This experiment signals a shift in how software may be built in the future. For developers, AI agents could handle repetitive tasks, large refactors, testing, and bug fixing, allowing humans to focus more on design, architecture, and problem-solving. DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro FCC listing confirms global launch plans, reveals battery size

DJI may be getting closer to launching a new Pro-level version of its pocket gimbal camera. A recent regulatory filing suggests that the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is moving through the approval process, a step that usually comes well before a public release.

The device has appeared in filings with the FCC. This follows an earlier certification for the standard Osmo Pocket 4, which surfaced months ago. With both models now cleared, it looks increasingly likely that DJI is preparing a broader, possibly global rollout that includes the US market.

FCC approval is required for devices with wireless features in the US, and companies usually don’t go through the process unless a product is meant to ship.

One of the few concrete details confirmed by the filing is battery capacity. The Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is listed with a 1,545mAh battery at 7.7V. That’s a noticeable increase over the Osmo Pocket 3’s 1,300mAh battery and lines up with earlier leaks suggesting improved endurance across the new Pocket lineup.

Beyond that, information is limited. The FCC has granted DJI a confidentiality request, meaning internal photos and schematics won’t be made public until around June 20, 2026. DJI certified the standard Pocket 4 well before announcing anything, but it does remove a key barrier to US sales.

Rumors suggest the Pocket 4 Pro could arrive after the standard model, possibly later this spring or in early summer. As a “Pro” variant, it’s expected to offer something extra, whether that’s camera hardware changes, enhanced stabilization, or other refinements.

What is clear is that DJI is actively moving forward behind the scenes. With regulatory approval now in place, the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro appears to be one step closer to release, even if DJI isn’t ready to talk about it yet.

These include the Electric Scooter 6 Lite, Electric Scooter 6, Electric Scooter 6 Pro, and Electric Scooter 6 Max, all of which were already visible online. Xiaomi is also preparing a new Electric Scooter 6 Ultra, which was not part of the initial website listing.

The Electric Scooter 6 Ultra is positioned as the most powerful and capable model in the range. It shares core upgrades found across the series, including 12-inch tires, but adds a stronger motor, longer riding range, and dual disc brakes. It also supports a higher maximum load capacity of 140 kg, making it suitable for a wider range of riders. Another notable difference is its design, as the Ultra is expected to be sold only in yellow.

The rest of the lineup is already well defined. The Electric Scooter 6 sits between the Lite and the Max. It introduces 12-inch tubeless tires and front and rear suspension for better ride comfort. Its 360Wh battery delivers up to 45 km of range and supports faster charging than the previous generation.

The Electric Scooter 6 Lite focuses on short city trips. It uses a 300W motor with 500W peak output, reaches 25 km/h, and offers up to 25 km of range from a 216Wh battery. The Pro model moves up with a 400W motor rated at 1,000W peak, off-road style suspension, 12-inch tires, and a 468Wh battery rated for up to 70 km of range. The Max builds on this with up to 1,100W peak power, dual disc brakes, long travel suspension, Apple Find My support, and the same 70 km claimed range.

Pricing shows a slight increase over the previous generation. The Electric Scooter 6 Lite is expected to cost €329.99, the Electric Scooter 6 €399.99, the Pro €549.99, and the Max €649.99. The above screenshot shows that an upcoming Vivo phone bearing the model number V2547DA has received approval from the 3C authority. Reports have revealed that this model number is associated with the Beidou Edition, which supports SMS via satellite connectivity. As far as the standard version of the Vivo X300 Ultra is concerned, it is said to have the model number V2547A.

The 3C certification listing confirms that the Vivo X300 Ultra Beidou Edition may ship with a 100W charger. While the standard version has not yet been certified by the 3C, it is likely to offer the same charging capabilities.

The Find X9s is the name of the Dimensity 9500s-powered Oppo phone set to hit the Indian market. However, the company did not confirm anything else about this phone.

It has been almost three years since the WF-1000XM5 launched in July 2023, which is a longer gap than usual for Sony’s 1000X lineup. In that time, competition from Apple, Bose, and Sennheiser has only intensified, raising expectations around what the XM6 needs to deliver.

In the latest development, Zhou Yibao, who leads Oppo’s Find-series products, has revealed when these devices will hit the Chinese market.

According to Yibao’s latest Weibo post, a new foldable phone is slated for launch after the Chinese New Year period. Although the executive did not explicitly name the device, ongoing rumors strongly indicate that the teaser refers to the Oppo Find N6.

In his post, Zhou compared foldable phones to two beds placed together, suggesting that while they may look comfortable, the central gap or crease remains a key concern for users. He acknowledged that crease visibility continues to be one of the biggest barriers for buyers and emphasized that Oppo is investing heavily in improving crease management and overall durability.

Recent reports further support the Find N6 speculation. iQOO has been gradually confirming key details about the iQOO 15R before its official launch on Feb. 24 in India. In the latest development, the brand has confirmed the primary camera of the device. The update reveals that the phone will not just be good at performance but also at capturing photos.

The iQOO 15R is confirmed to feature a Sony LYT-700 50-megapixel main camera. This camera will surprise those who were expecting a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensor, as the device is believed to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which features the said 200-megapixel Samsung primary camera.

Apart from this major difference, the rest of the specs appear to be identical on both phones. As far as the camera is concerned, the Sony LYT-700 is quite a capable sensor, utilizing Sony’s latest stacked pixel technology to capture more light and deliver better dynamic range in low-light conditions.

Recent reports have revealed that the iQOO 15R will be a performance powerhouse, driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth gaming.

One of its standout features is a massive 7,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, yet it maintains a slim profile of just 7.9mm. It will be treated with four Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The device is also tipped to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for top-tier water and dust resistance. As for the pricing, rumors suggest the iQOO 15R will be priced under Rs 50,000 in India, potentially starting around Rs 47,999 to compete directly with the upcoming OnePlus 15R. With these specs, iQOO is clearly aiming to offer a flagship-grade experience at a more accessible price point.

Xiaomi has begun updating its devices to the February 2026 security patch via the latest software update. The update is rolling out to multiple devices, and it’s not only the flagship devices getting the initial treat. Several mid-range smartphones are also on the list, running the older HyperOS 2 build based on Android 14.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra, two Find X9s models bag major certifications, launch imminent

A couple of new Oppo phones have received SRRC (State Radio Regulation of China) certification. These include the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s series phones. At the same time, these devices have also been approved by the country’s UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Specification) certification. These certifications suggest that the Find series may debut soon after the upcoming Chinese New Year holidays.

The Oppo PMA110 phone, which is believed to be the Find X9 Ultra, has received SRRC certification. For those who are unaware, it is a mandatory certification issued by China’s radio regulatory authority to approve wireless devices that use radio frequencies. It confirms that a device complies with China’s spectrum regulations, covering features like cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other radio transmission functions before commercial sale. After this, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to bag 3C and TENAA certifications before going official.

The PMA110 model is also listed with the PMA120 variant in the UFCS database. The PMA120 will support satellite connectivity. For those unfamiliar, UFCS is a unified fast-charging standard developed mainly by Chinese manufacturers (including OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Huawei, and others). Its goal is to create a cross-brand fast charging protocol so chargers and devices from different brands can safely deliver fast charging without proprietary restrictions.

Earlier this week, the PME110 Oppo phone was approved by SRRC. Now, the authority has also certified PHM110. These devices are said to be part of the Find X9s series, which may include two devices: the Find X9s and Find X9s Pro. At present, it is not clear which model numbers correspond to which device.

The PHM110 variant has also bagged UFCS certification, which suggests that it could be the Find X9s Pro, whereas the PME110 without UFCS certification could be the Find X9s. It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm their final monikers.

The Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s series phones are expected to debut together through a launch event in March in China. It is unclear whether the Oppo Find N6 will be announced at the same platform or separately.
