Motorola is getting ready to expand the Edge 70 lineup with the Pro and Pro+ models. Detailed renders of the Edge 70 Pro+ have now surfaced, courtesy of Evan Blass. While the overall design doesn’t change much, a few details stand out on closer look.

At first glance, it’s familiar territory. Curved edges on the display, a square-ish camera module, and the same general shape Motorola has been sticking with. Nothing surprising there. What does stand out is the finish.

The Edge 70 Pro+ is tipped to come in five colors, white, turquoise, dark blue, red, and brown, and they’re not just different shades. Each version seems to have a different material or texture. The blue and turquoise options look like they use a fabric back, while the white one has a marble-style finish. The brown variant, interestingly, leans into a wood-like texture.

On the camera side, the renders reveal a couple of key details. There’s an ultra-wide lens with a 12 mm equivalent focal length, along with a telephoto lens at 81 mm, which works out to roughly 3.5x optical zoom.

Specs for the Pro+ aren’t fully out yet, but the Edge 70 Pro gives a rough idea of what to expect. That model is said to use a Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip, paired with a 6.8-inch 144 Hz AMOLED display. As for imaging, it’s expected to include a “3-in-1 light sensor”, along with a 50MP Sony LYT710 primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide.

Motorola is also sticking with its usual software promise: three Android updates and five years of security patches. Decent, though still a step behind some of the competition.

While the Pro model is set to launch in India on April 22, 2026, there’s still no word on the Pro+. However, with official-looking renders already out there, it probably won’t stay quiet for long.

Oppo has launched the Watch X3 in global markets, following its introduction in China last month. The smartwatch debuts alongside the company’s latest flagship smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra. In Europe, the Oppo Watch X3 is priced at €379.

Oppo Watch X3 Specifications

The Watch X3 uses an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. Oppo has reduced the weight to 43 grams and the thickness to 11mm, making it lighter and thinner than its predecessor. The 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display supports 3,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even in direct sunlight.

The smartwatch integrates a dual-chip system that includes the Snapdragon W5 processor and an energy-efficient secondary chip to balance performance and battery life. Oppo claims the battery lasts up to five days in smart mode and 16 days in power saver mode. The watch supports VOOC Flash Charge, which delivers a full day of power with a 10-minute charge.

The Oppo Watch X3 supports more than 100 sports modes. It offers automatic recognition for six activities, including running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing, and elliptical training. The watch includes dual-band L1+L5 GNSS with support for GPS, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS.

For health tracking, the Watch X3 offers continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, sleep analysis, wrist temperature measurement, and heart rate variability analysis. It features an ECG function to detect atrial fibrillation, a 60-second Wellness Overview for key health metrics, as well as fall detection and emergency SOS support.

The watch uses Wear OS 6 alongside RTOS for better performance and efficiency. It comes with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 4GB EMMC for RTOS. The smartwatch integrates with Google services like Assistant, Wallet, and Maps, and offers Oppo-exclusive features like camera control and instant notifications.

The Watch X3 carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It also supports 5ATM water resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.

The watch comes in Misty Titanium and Obsidian Black color options.

Apple might be rethinking how it handles its base iPhone next time around. A new leak suggests the standard iPhone 18 could arrive with a few compromises to keep costs under control.

The regular iPhone 18 and the more affordable iPhone 18e may not show up until spring 2027. Instead, Apple is expected to use its usual September event to focus on the higher-end models, likely the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and maybe even a foldable or “Ultra” variant if those plans hold. If that happens, it would be the first time in a while that Apple splits its iPhone launch this way.

The reasoning comes down to costs. Memory prices have been climbing due to the ongoing DRAM situation, and Apple is reportedly looking at ways to offset that. According to tipster Fixed Focus Digital, one approach seems to be bringing the standard iPhone closer to the “e” model in terms of hardware and production.

Exactly what gets cut isn’t fully clear yet, but a few possibilities have been mentioned. For context, the current iPhone 17 stands out from the 17e with things like a 120Hz OLED panel, an extra ultra-wide camera, and Dynamic Island.

Going back to 60Hz doesn’t sound likely, but some of the newer additions could be on the chopping block. That might include the dedicated camera button, a slightly toned-down chipset (with fewer GPU cores), the upgraded front camera, and faster wireless charging.

None of this is confirmed, of course. Apple’s plans tend to shift quite a bit before launch, and early leaks don’t always land exactly right. Still, the overall direction is interesting. It looks like Apple could be trying to draw a clearer line between its standard and Pro models. Whether that ends up feeling like a smart trade-off or a step back will depend on how much actually gets cut.

Oppo has finally taken the wraps off the Find X9 Ultra, and if you have been keeping up, you’ll know this isn’t just another all-purpose flagship. It’s a camera first, and a phone second.

In fact, the Find X9 Ultra is the only flagship in 2026 to pack not one but two 200-megapixel rear cameras. Nearly everything Oppo is doing here revolves around that idea.

Cameras and imaging system

The Find X9 Ultra is built around a six-lens system, trying to cover as many use cases as possible. And as mentioned earlier, the headline feature is the dual 200MP setup. 

There’s a 200MP main camera with an f/1.5 aperture that Oppo claims can take in more light than traditional 1-inch sensors. Alongside it sits a 200MP 3x telephoto camera with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor that is meant for portrait or close-up shots. 

Then there’s a dedicated 50MP 10x optical zoom telephoto lens, which can also snap “20x optical quality zoom” photos. The 50MP ultra-wide camera has also been upgraded to take 56% more light intake compared to the previous generation.

Together, these cameras are meant to deliver full focal length coverage in 8K image quality, which Oppo says is a first for its lineup.

On the software side, the new Hasselblad Master Mode is doing a lot of the work. It includes:

• Hasselblad True Detail, which allows 8K photo output across six focal lengths
• Hasselblad Natural Color, now paired with a full-link ProXDR pipeline
• Master Mode Original Film, which recreates classic film looks using computational processing

There are nine film-style presets in total, and unlike typical filters, these are meant to simulate real film tone and color behavior.

Video and creator-focused features

Oppo is also touting the Find X9 Ultra as a cinematic productivity tool, and this is where things get more technical.

The phone supports 8K video at 30fps and 4K at 120fps, both in 10-bit Log format. That’s paired with a new O-Log2 profile that is said to preserve more detail in shadows and midtones. For users working across multiple cameras, there’s support for the ACES color management workflow, which is typically used in professional production.

There’s also support for custom 3D LUTs, so that creators can preview and apply color grading directly on the device.

Beyond the camera itself, Oppo is building an ecosystem around it. In collaboration with TILTA, the company is offering accessories like ND filters and manual focus grips. The phone also supports HDMI output for easier integration into multi-camera setups.

For storage and workflow, Oppo has partnered with NAS brand Flyniu to enable private cloud management.

Design and build

The Find X9 Ultra’s design takes cues from the Hasselblad X2D 100C Earth Explorer Limited Edition, which focuses on materials and finish rather than just aesthetics.

The back uses a new generation of environmentally friendly leather, where we can clearly see the Hasselblad branding too. The phone comes in three color options: Earth Tundra, Polar Glacier, and Velvet Sand Canyon.

On the durability side, Oppo is using Crystal Shield Glass and claims full-level waterproofing with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. The device has also received a five-star drop and shock resistance certification from SGS.

Display and performance

Outside of the camera system, the Find X9 Ultra still checks the usual flagship boxes. It runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with Oppo’s Tide Engine tuning. The company says the phone can maintain 144Hz performance in demanding games, including MOBA and FPS titles.

The display is a 6.82-inch 2K panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also includes pixel-level gamma correction and eye-protection features.

The Find X9 Ultra is backed by a 7050mAh “Glacier Battery,” which uses a silicon-carbon anode and a dedicated energy management chip. Charging is handled via 100W wired SuperVOOC and 50W wireless charging. 

Connectivity and extras

The phone supports dual-satellite communication for calls and messages when there’s no cellular signal. It is backed by a dedicated communication enhancement chip. 

Other additions include symmetrical dual speakers, a bionic vibration motor, and upgrades to haptics and audio.

Pricing and variants

The Find X9 Ultra starts at 7,499 yuan (~ $1099) for the 12GB + 256GB model.

There’s also a higher-end “Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set,” priced at 11,999 yuan (~ $1759), which includes a 16GB + 1TB variant with satellite communication and a bundle of professional accessories.

Additional accessory kits are sold separately, including a professional imaging kit priced at 2,499 yuan (~ $366).

After teasing it last week, Oppo today announced the new Oppo SuperVOOC 120W Power Bank in China. The product is now available on the company’s online store with a price tag of 299 yuan (~ $44).

The power bank has a 15,000mAh capacity, but despite that, the design is relatively sleek. It measures 105 × 70 × 29mm, though it could feel a bit hefty at 310 grams.

Oppo is offering it in two finishes, Starlight Orange and Space Black, both wrapped in what the company describes as a skin-friendly exterior.

The headline feature here is charging speed. The power bank includes one USB-A port and one USB-C port, each capable of delivering up to 120W output when used individually. When both ports are used simultaneously, the output is split into 30W and 65W.

As a result, it’s flexible enough to handle everything from smartphones to laptops, assuming compatibility. It supports a wide range of charging standards, including PD, QC, PPS, and UFCS, alongside Oppo’s own SuperVOOC protocol.

Xiaomi just announced the Redmi K90 Max in China, and this year, the headline feature isn’t just the chipset or the battery. It’s the fan. This is the first Xiaomi phone to ship with a built-in active cooling system, and it’s going all-in on the idea.

The fan measures 18.1mm in diameter, which Xiaomi says is larger than most implementations. It uses a vertical air intake with forward-leaning blades to push airflow more efficiently, alongside a sealed air duct and a vortex-style airflow design meant to reduce turbulence.

According to Xiaomi’s internal testing, the system can drop temperatures by up to 10°C in around 100 seconds. There are three adjustable fan modes, with noise levels topping out at 32dB.

The fan itself uses an all-metal bearing system and has reportedly passed a 50,000-hour aging test. More impressively, Xiaomi says buyers who pick up the device before May 5 will get a six-year warranty on the fan, along with lifetime free cleaning.

Redmi K90 Max is a performance-first phone

Inside, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with an AI-focused discrete graphics chip called the D2. The combination is designed for high refresh rate gaming, with support for 1.5K resolution at up to 165Hz across a wide range of titles. 

It also uses the latest LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 memory standards, as you would expect from a performance-focused device.

Up front, there’s a 6.83-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi says it uses M10 backlight technology and supports full-brightness DC dimming, along with a low 1-nit brightness mode and a dedicated eye protection setting for gaming.

Keeping everything running is a large 8,550mAh single-cell battery with support for 100W wired charging.

Cameras and extras

Things are relatively simple on the camera side. The rear setup is led by a 50-megapixel main sensor (1/1.55-inch), paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, there’s a 20MP selfie camera.

There are also a few gaming-focused additions, including a 400Hz gyroscope sampling rate, optimized touch zones for certain games, and a three-microphone system designed to work better in landscape orientation. Xiaomi has also included two Surge T1+ signal enhancement chips to improve network stability.

Other hardware details include symmetrical dual speakers tuned with Bose, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an X-axis linear motor for haptics. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, which is notable given the presence of an internal fan.

Price and Availability

Insta360 has teased a new wireless mic, and it’s not exactly trying to stay low-key. The company showed off the Insta360 Mic Pro at NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas, and it looks like it’s going in a very different direction compared to last year’s Mic Air. This one leans more into personality, not just pure function.

The first thing that stands out is the design. Each transmitter has a round color E-Ink display on the front, which you can customize with pretty much anything, logos, text, emojis, even photos. It’s a small touch, but it changes how the mic shows up on camera.

Instead of trying to hide it, Insta360 is basically saying, make it part of the shot. Because it’s E-Ink, it doesn’t drain much battery and should stay visible even in bright conditions.

Underneath all that, it’s still meant to be a proper upgrade on the audio side. The Mic Pro uses a three-mic array along with AI-based noise reduction, powered by an onboard NPU. There’s also onboard recording built into the transmitter, which acts as a backup in case something goes wrong with the wireless feed. That’s pretty standard for pro-level mics now, but still important.

The Mic Pro supports direct connection to compatible Insta360 cameras, so in some cases you won’t even need a receiver. That should make things easier for quick shoots, especially if you’re using a gimbal or moving around a lot.

Details like battery life, pricing, and full specs are still under wraps. Insta360 just says it’s coming later in 2026. But even from this early look, the Mic Pro feels like Insta360 trying to stand out in a category that’s starting to feel a bit predictable. Whether people actually want a customizable mic on camera is another question, but it’s definitely different.

Not long after the WH-1000XM6 made its way to the market, a fresh leak hints at a premium edition model that could sit above it, possibly as a kind of anniversary release.

The leak comes via The Walkman Blog, which is usually pretty reliable with Sony-related stuff. According to the report, Sony briefly put up placeholder pages on its Australia and New Zealand websites for something called “1000X The Collexion.” The pages didn’t stay up for long, but long enough for a screenshot to surface.

Interestingly, the image description on the page mentioned a person wearing white “1000X The Collexion” headphones, suggesting at least one lighter color option. There are also talks of a black version, so Sony might be going for a more premium, minimal look here.

What really stands out is the model number: WH-1000XX. That naming is a bit unusual, and it’s what’s fueling speculation that this could be a 10-year anniversary edition of the 1000X series. Considering how important that lineup has been for Sony, it wouldn’t be surprising if they’re planning something a bit more polished than usual.

There’s also a teaser line tied to the listing, “Master the art of listening,” which, yeah, sounds like typical marketing, but it does hint at some kind of upgrade beyond what the XM6 already offers. Could be better drivers, tuning tweaks, or even something new on the processing side, but nothing concrete yet.

Pricing, however, does give us a clue about positioning. The leak points to around €630, which clearly puts it in proper flagship territory, above the current XM6 pricing. So this isn’t just a cosmetic refresh.

Sony is expected to announce it on May 19, so we probably won’t have to wait too long to see what this actually is. For now, though, “The Collexion” looks like Sony experimenting a bit with its most successful headphone series, possibly marking a milestone while also pushing things forward.

Foldable phones have become increasingly common, but Huawei’s Pura X Max introduces a new perspective. The device moves away from the taller, narrower designs of its competitors and embraces a wider, more productivity-focused form factor. It offers a fresh take on how foldable phones can combine functionality and immersive experiences.

Interestingly, Apple is reportedly working on a similar design style for its first foldable phone, which may adopt the same wide foldable form factor and is expected to launch later this year.

Wider Foldable Design

The Huawei Pura X Max uses a horizontally wide display design, making it stand out in the foldable phone market. The inner display measures 7.7 inches with a nearly 4:3 aspect ratio (14.1:10), while the 5.4-inch outer screen has a similar wide layout. This aspect ratio gives the device the feel of a compact tablet instead of a tall and narrow smartphone.

Huawei’s choice of a wider screen benefits users by offering more horizontal space. Watching movies feels cinematic with minimal black bars, reading eBooks becomes less cramped, and games offer a better view of the action.

The design also makes it easier to handle productivity tasks like editing documents and viewing presentations, where extra screen space significantly improves the experience. Unlike other foldables that prioritize narrow portability, Huawei’s approach emphasizes usability and functionality.

Durability and Aesthetics

Huawei enhances durability with a newly designed Basalt Waterdrop Hinge. This hinge increases the available screen area by 16% while improving drop resistance by 33%. The inner display is built with three composite layers, including ultra-thin glass, carbon fiber, and a molecular buffer layer.

Huawei claims these materials improve impact resistance by 50% and compression resistance by 20%. The outer screen uses second-generation Kunlun Glass for extra protection. Additionally, the phone is rated IP58/IP59 for dust and water resistance.

The device also focuses on aesthetics. The rear camera area features a ceramic bezel surrounded by luminous textures. The phone comes in five colors, including Midnight Black, Zero White, Olive Gold, Interstellar Blue, and Vibrant Orange.

Despite its large displays, the Pura X Max remains slim. It measures only 5.2mm thick when unfolded and 11.2mm when folded, making it thinner than many of its competitors. The weight of 229 grams feels reasonable for a phone with these capabilities.

Performance and AI Features

The Kirin 9030 Pro chipset powers the Pura X Max. Huawei says it delivers 30% more performance than the Kirin 9020 found in the original Pura X. The chipset is designed for seamless multitasking and supports real-time ray tracing for advanced graphics processing.

The phone runs HarmonyOS 6.1, which brings integrations like Xiaoyi AI. This AI assistant helps with contextual suggestions, task management, and travel assistance.

The Pura X Max also supports Huawei’s M-Pen 3 Mini stylus. The stylus allows users to take notes, create sketches, or edit images with precision.

Cameras

Huawei upgraded the camera system on the Pura X Max to ensure flagship-grade imaging. The rear camera system includes a 50MP RYYB main sensor with a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. It also features a 50MP periscope lens that supports zoom photography, while a 12.5MP ultra-wide lens enables versatile shots.

The company included its second-generation XMAGE camera software, which optimizes lighting, color accuracy, and composition. Huawei added 8MP selfie cameras to both displays to support quick video calls and casual photography. The outer screen lets users use the main camera for selfies, enabling high-resolution front-facing photos.

Meta has confirmed it’s testing a new paid subscription for WhatsApp, and it’s called WhatsApp Plus. This is a bit of a shift for the platform. WhatsApp has mostly stayed free for everyday features, only slowly adding things like themes and small customization tools over time. Now, it looks like Meta is ready to see if users are willing to pay for a more personalized experience.

From what the company says, WhatsApp Plus isn’t about locking core features behind a paywall. Messaging, calls, groups, all of that stays free. Instead, this is more of an add-on for people who want extra control over how the app looks and behaves. The early feature list reflects that.

WhatsApp Plus: more personalization and organization

Users on the Plus tier can pin a lot more chats, up to 20 instead of the usual three, which alone might be useful for anyone juggling work, family, and group chats at the same time. There’s also support for custom lists, where you can group chats together and apply things like notification settings, ringtones, or themes in one go.

On the cosmetic side, Meta is adding more chat themes, extra color options, and even custom ringtones for specific contacts. There’s also talk of things like custom app icons and other small visual tweaks.

Some beta reports, including from WABetaInfo, suggest this is just the start. Features like exclusive stickers, possibly with effects, and more interactive reactions could show up later if the test goes well.

Right now, though, this is still a limited rollout. Meta says it’s mainly trying to figure out whether people actually find value in these extras. There’s no official launch timeline yet, and pricing isn’t locked either, although early testing has pointed to something around €2.49 per month in a few regions.

The bigger picture here is pretty clear. Meta has been looking for ways to make money from WhatsApp without stuffing it with ads or breaking what people already like about it. A subscription layer like this is a relatively safe way to do that.

It also brings WhatsApp a bit closer to Telegram, which has had deeper customization options for years and has leaned more into power-user features. WhatsApp has been catching up slowly, and this feels like the next step.

Lenovo has officially confirmed that its upcoming Xiaoxin Air 14 (2026) laptop will launch on May 19, 2026. The company shared a teaser with the tagline “Light as a kite in the wind, beautiful as the first bud of spring,” hinting at a strong focus on ultra-thin design and portability.

The Xiaoxin Air 14 is expected to be one of the lightest laptops in Lenovo’s lineup. Reports suggest the device could weigh as little as 1.06 kg, with a slim profile of around 11.9 mm, thin enough to slip into most bags without a second thought.

Under the hood, the laptop is likely to run on Intel’s Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processor and feature an all-aluminium chassis, a step up in build quality for the Air series. A 65 Wh battery should offer a full day of use on a single charge.

The Xiaoxin Air 14 will compete in the premium thin-and-light segment, aimed at students, professionals, and everyday users who want style without sacrificing performance. Lenovo is also preparing two other Intel-based models, the IdeaPad Slim 3i and Slim 5i, powered by the new Core 300 series (Wildcat Lake) processors.

With the May 19 date now locked in, Lenovo fans won’t have long to wait to see how the Xiaoxin Air 14 stacks up against rivals like the Dell XPS 13 and Apple MacBook Air.

Xiaomi has quietly taken the wraps off its latest budget audio product, the Redmi Buds 8, just as it is preparing for a broader launch event today. While the company is still likely to host an official presentation, the earbuds are already listed on its website and have gone on sale in China.

Priced at 229 yuan (roughly $34), the Redmi Buds 8 is an affordable counterpart of the Redmi Buds 8 Pro launched in January. It’s available in three colors, Lime White, Cyan, and Dusk Black, and comes with an in-ear design. Each earbud weighs about 5 grams.

Redmi Buds 8 Specifications

On the hardware side, Xiaomi is using an 11mm dynamic driver that supports the LHDC codec, which is designed to deliver higher-quality wireless audio when paired with compatible devices. 

It also has noise-cancellation with a claimed average noise reduction depth of 24.9dB, peaks of up to 50dB, and a frequency coverage that extends to 4kHz. There are three levels of adaptive noise cancellation, along with an automatic mode that adjusts based on your surroundings.

The Redmi Buds 8 use a three-microphone setup paired with Xiaomi’s in-house AI noise reduction algorithm for calling. Like many recent earbuds, they also include customizable sound tuning with a five-level EQ and personalized audio profiles.

In terms of battery. Xiaomi says the earbuds can last up to 11 hours on a single charge without noise cancellation, or about 6.5 hours with it enabled. With the charging case, total playback time stretches to 44 hours (or 28 hours with ANC on). The case itself charges over USB-C and houses a 475mAh battery.

Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, with support for SBC, AAC, and LHDC codecs, and a typical range of up to 10 meters in open space. The earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, though the case isn’t protected.

There’s also some ecosystem integration at play. Xiaomi’s Smart Connect feature allows for things like device switching, audio streaming, and notification playback across compatible devices.

It also confirmed a 10,000mAh+ battery, making it the largest ever on a Vivo phone. The brand is expected to confirm its launch date in the coming days. However, multiple listings that have surfaced (via. XpertPick) now reveal almost everything about the Vivo Y600 Pro.

Vivo Y600 Pro specifications (rumored)

An upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2561A has appeared across databases such as China Telecom, Geekbench, and China’s 3C certification. The China Telecom listing confirms that this device will launch as the Vivo Y600 Pro in the Chinese market.

One of the biggest highlights is its enormous 10,200mAh battery. This colossal battery is paired with 80W fast charging support, as revealed via 3C certification. Despite packing such a behemoth cell, the device measures 163.90 x 76.50 x 8.15mm and weighs 221 grams, which is quite manageable considering its massive capacity.

On the front, the Y600 Pro features a 6.83-inch OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. For photography, it is tipped to include a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera. It is euqipped with an in-screen fingerprint seensor for security.

The China Telecom listing reveals that a 2.5GHz MediaTek MT6858T chipset powers the device. Meanwhile, the Geekbench listing shows a configuration of four cores clocked at 2.50GHz and four cores at 2.00GHz, along with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. It also reveals 12GB RAM, Android 16, and scores of 1,036 (single-core) and 3,103 (multi-core). According to tipster Digital Chat Station, this chip will be marketed as the Dimensity 7300e.

Vivo Y600 Pro variants, color options, released date

The Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to arrive in multiple variants, including 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 8GB+512GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. It will be available in Floating Gold, Bright Moon Black, Vast Blue, and Starry Purple color options. The listing also states that the Y600 Pro will release on April 30 in China.

According to DCS, there will also be an iQOO-branded variant of this phone, which may debut at a later stage. However, it remains unclear whether the Vivo Y600 Pro or its iQOO counterpart will be released in markets outside China.

To recall, the Honor Magic 8 was equipped with a 6.59-inch screen, but rumors surrounding the Magic 9 suggest that it could be a compact offering with a smaller display. Here’s a look at all the details that have surfaced through the latest leak.

A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Honor Magic 9 could arrive with a strong focus on battery life and compact design. The device is said to feature a 6.3-inch “small screen” form factor, with early evaluations pointing to a battery capacity of around 8,000mAh, which would be a significant upgrade for this segment.

In terms of performance, Honor is reportedly testing two chipset options: a next-generation 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (8E6) and a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (8E5), with the final decision still under evaluation. If the company opts for the slightly older 8E5 platform, the device is still expected to retain premium features such as a periscope telephoto camera, wireless charging support, full-level water resistance, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The display is tipped to use an LTPS panel, and choosing the 3nm chip could allow Honor to position the phone at a noticeably lower price compared to the 2nm variant, potentially making it a more accessible flagship offering.

It didn’t take long for Insta360’s Luna to step out of the shadows. Just days after the company teased the device, a full specs leak has surfaced on X. The reveal comes on the heels of DJI unveiling its Osmo Pocket 4 gimbal camera. 

According to the leak, the Insta360 Luna is built around a dual-camera system with relatively large sensors. The main wide-angle camera uses a 1-inch CMOS sensor with an 18mm equivalent focal length and f/2.0 aperture, while the secondary telephoto camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor at 70mm equivalent with an f/2.8 aperture.

The hardware combo, as per the leak, gives Luna a 1–6x “lossless” zoom system; the optical caps at 3.9x. In comparison, DJI claims 2x lossless zoom for the new Osmo Pocket 4. 

As for video performance, the leak mentions support for 4K recording at up to 240fps, along with 10-bit color and Dolby Vision HDR. There’s also Leica color tuning and full-chain calibration, and Deep Track 3.0 for AI-enchanced subject tracking. 

Insta360 Luna will have a detachable gimbal head

Another notable detail is simultaneous dual-lens recording. The wide and telephoto cameras can apparently shoot at the same time, opening up options for multi-angle content without needing a second device.

Then there’s the design. Earlier speculation hinted at a detachable camera module, and this leak backs that up with what’s described as a “twist modular” system. That is, you will be able to detach the gimbal head from the handle.

The rest of the package is fairly stacked as well. It’s revealed to have a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, AI-assisted stabilization, a 2-inch rotatable OLED touchscreen with 1000 nits brightness, and support for vertical shooting. 

The battery life is rated at around 150 to 180 minutes from a 1500mAh cell, all within a body expected to weigh under 150 grams.

Interestingly, some YouTube creators already have early units, and first-look videos are starting to surface. As a result, we can expect a launch may not be that far off.

The upcoming iQOO 16 has been rumored to feature a 165Hz or even 185Hz refresh rate. A new report might finally settle that debate.

Fresh details from a reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station, reveal a handful of specifics around the phone’s chipset, display, and camera setup. And things are still being decided. 

According to the leak, the iQOO 16 could be powered by Qualcomm’s SM8975 chip, which is expected to debut as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. It aligns with earlier reports suggesting the device will land as the top model in iQOO’s lineup, likely launching in China later this year.

iQOO 16 Specifications

Up front, the phone is said to feature a 6.85-inch 2K display with a flat panel. The screen is described as an SDC “Pol-less” panel, shorthand for Samsung Display’s newer tech that replaces the traditional polarizer layer with a color filter structure to boost brightness while improving power efficiency.

As for that refresh rate? The tipster pins it at 165Hz, not the previously rumored 185Hz. That’s still a step up from the 144Hz panel on the iQOO 15, and likely more than enough for even the most demanding mobile gamers.

The camera story, however, seems a bit less settled. The latest leak suggests the current engineering unit includes a mid-range periscope telephoto camera, rather than a top-tier zoom system.

There’s also some indecision around the main shooter. iQOO is reportedly testing two configurations: one featuring a 200-megapixel sensor, and another pairing a 50-megapixel sensor with a larger physical size. 

As usual, it’s unclear which direction will make the cut for the final hardware. The trade-off between resolution and sensor size suggests iQOO is still fine-tuning its priorities.

LG has officially launched the StandbyME 2 Max in South Korea. The portable lifestyle TV is available starting today at a price of 1.59 million Korean won (approximately $1,080).

The StandbyME 2 Max features a 32-inch 4K UHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. LG has equipped the TV with its Alpha8 Gen3 AI processor, which enhances picture and sound quality through AI technology. The device improves video quality with AI 4K upscaling, advanced HDR support (Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG), and dynamic tone mapping for better contrast, color accuracy, and vibrant visuals.

LG designed the TV to prioritize portability and flexibility. The device includes a built-in 144Wh battery, allowing up to 4.5 hours of wireless operation on a single charge. The display can detach from its stand at the press of a button and be used as a tabletop or wall-mounted screen.

LG also offers optional accessories, including a one-click stand, a moving wheel stand, and a wall strap. These can be purchased separately to adapt the TV to various uses, such as video calling, gaming, and streaming.

The TV operates on webOS 26, which supports a range of smart features. Motorola’s next Razr lineup has leaked ahead of its official announcement, giving a clearer picture of what to expect from the Razr 70 and the Razr+ 2026. The details come from Billbil-kun on Dealabs. While the Razr Fold is already available in Europe, the rest of the 2026 range is still pending launch.

The Razr 70, which may be marketed as the Razr 2026 in some regions, brings a few changes compared to earlier reports. It is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chip, clocked up to 2.60 GHz. The battery is listed at 4800 mAh, slightly higher than what earlier certification hinted at. It will use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

It features a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes two 50 MP sensors on the back, covering main and ultra-wide shots. On the front, there is a 32 MP camera.

The Razr+ 2026, aimed at the US market, sticks closer to last year’s model but adds some upgrades where it matters. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with a peak clock of 3 GHz. Storage is faster this time with UFS 4.0, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. The inner display remains 6.9 inches but pushes the refresh rate to 165 Hz. The battery is rated at 4500 mAh and supports up to 45 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging.

Both phones come with similar basics. They support USB-C, Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, and eSIM alongside a physical SIM. They carry an IP48 rating and run Android 16 out of the box. When folded, both measure around 73.99 x 88 mm, with slight differences when opened. Weight is roughly 188 to 189 grams.

In the US, pricing is expected to start at $799.99 for the Razr 2026, $1099.99 for the Razr+ 2026, $1499.99 for the Razr Ultra 2026, and $1899.99 for the Razr Fold 2026. Sales are expected to begin on May 21, 2026.

Lenovo is set to launch the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India on May 1, 2026. The company has quietly put up a microsite on Amazon India, confirming the date and outlining the key details of the tablet ahead of its release.

Lenovo is offering it in four configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. There is also support for microSD expansion up to 2TB. It ships with Android 16 and will receive OS updates up to Android 18, along with four years of security patches.

One of the main highlights is the display. The tablet comes with a 13-inch PureSight Pro panel with a 3.5K resolution of 3504 x 2190 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, reaches up to 800 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode, and covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Dolby Vision is supported as well. Lenovo will also sell a separate Matte Edition that adds an anti-glare layer for a more paper-like viewing experience. The display is certified for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Full Care standards.

The tablet packs a 10,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Lenovo says it can deliver up to 12.5 hours of YouTube playback.

On the hardware side, it measures 296.48mm x 191.91mm x 6.20mm and weighs 598 grams. It includes a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port that supports charging, audio, and display output, along with a microSD card slot and pogo-pin connectors for accessories. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and it also features sensors like an accelerometer, RGB sensor, gyroscope, and Hall sensor.

For cameras, there is an 8MP front sensor and a 13MP rear camera with autofocus. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup tuned with Dolby Atmos.

The tablet will be available in Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Jelly Mint. Lenovo will also offer accessories such as the Tab Pen Plus, a folio case, and a keyboard pack that connects through pogo pins.

Dell has introduced the Alienware Aurora 16X (2026), a powerful new gaming laptop designed for competitive gaming and creative workloads. The laptop is now available on Dell’s e-commerce platforms.

The chassis features premium materials such as anodized aluminum. The laptop includes a full-size keyboard with RGB lighting and a dedicated number pad. Dell has allowed the keyboard to switch to a quieter mode with subtle white backlighting when needed. The 96Whr battery and 280W power adapter ensure consistent performance during long gaming sessions.

For connectivity, it includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, and a universal audio jack. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 7 through the MediaTek MT7925 wireless card.

Huawei is giving its Huawei Pura X a small refresh more than a year after launch, adding two new color options without changing the hardware. The update was announced earlier today alongside the Pura X Max.

The new finishes are Stylish Orange and Stylish Purple. They sit alongside existing options like Phantom Night Black, Zero Degree White, Moon Shadow Gray, Stylish Red, and Stylish Green. The design remains the same multi-tone style seen on some earlier variants. On the Stylish Orange version, the frame and front are dark gray, while the back is split into three sections with two shades of orange and a beige panel. The Stylish Purple version uses a white gold frame and front, with the back divided into three shades of purple.

Both new colors are only available in a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, priced at CNY 7,999 ($1,173). Sales have started on Vmall. Huawei is also bundling a one-year Huawei Care+ plan for purchases made before May 5. The plan covers accidental damage and includes access to support services.

The rest of the device remains unchanged. On the outside, there is a 3.5-inch OLED cover display with a 980×980 resolution and a square 1:1 aspect ratio. Unfolded, it reveals a 6.3-inch OLED main screen with a 2120×1320 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, which offers more room for reading and split-screen use.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. There is also a 10.7MP front camera, though the rear cameras can be used for selfies.

Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, satellite communication, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. The phone is IPX8 rated for water resistance. It runs on Hongmeng OS 5 and is powered by a 4,720mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 40W wireless charging. Huawei has not revealed the chipset used in the device.

Samsung might finally be getting serious about fixing one of its biggest weak spots in the flagship space: battery tech. Fresh leaks suggest the company is making real progress on silicon-carbon (Si-C) batteries, and the Galaxy S27 Ultra is now being tipped as the phone where this upgrade could actually show up.

For a while now, Samsung has been trailing behind a few Chinese brands that have already moved to Si-C cells. The advantage is higher energy density, meaning you can fit more capacity without making the phone thicker. In comparison, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is still stuck with a 5,000mAh battery.

New details, reportedly from Samsung SDI documents shared via the Schrodingerintel blog, give a clearer picture of what’s being tested internally. The company has apparently been experimenting with silicon-carbon batteries ranging from 12,000mAh all the way up to 20,000mAh.

One of the more interesting configurations mentioned is a dual-cell setup labeled SDI-DC12K-SiC-V2. It combines a 6,800mAh cell (around 4.7mm thick) with a 5,200mAh cell (about 3.2mm). The 6,800mAh cell or a similar version of it could realistically fit inside the Galaxy S27 Ultra without going overboard on thickness.

The bigger issue, though, seems to be longevity. The 20,000mAh setup reportedly managed around 960 charge cycles before failing. That’s quite a bit short of the ~1,500 cycles expected for commercial use. And that gap likely explains why we didn’t see this tech make it into the S26 series.

From what’s being said, Samsung engineers are now working on improving things like separator materials, stacking techniques, and battery management to get those numbers up to a usable level.

Interestingly, Samsung has already admitted it’s behind in battery tech. That alone kind of hints that a shift is coming sooner rather than later. If the South Korean giant manages to sort out the durability issues in time, the S27 Ultra could end up being a pretty big moment for Galaxy fans.

POCO is set to launch two new budget 4G smartphones in India on April 23, the POCO C81 and POCO C81X. These devices will replace the POCO C71 and focus largely on battery life and basic day-to-day performance.

The POCO C81 will come with a 6300mAh battery, which is 20 percent larger than the 5200mAh unit used in the previous model. Even with the bigger battery, POCO says the phone keeps a similar slim design. The company also claims the battery can hold up to 80 percent of its capacity after 1000 charging cycles. There is also a cold endurance mode that is meant to keep the phone running smoothly in low temperature conditions.

Charging support includes 15W wired charging with a charger included in the box. The phone also supports 7.5W reverse wired charging, so it can charge other devices when needed. Based on official teasers, the device will feature a 13MP rear camera.

In terms of hardware, the C81 is expected to have a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to run on the UNISOC T7250 chipset and ship with Android 16 along with Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The focus here is clearly on offering longer usage time for common tasks like messaging, social media, and video streaming.

The POCO C81X will be a slightly more basic version. It will have a 5200mAh battery, but it will still keep the same charging setup with 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging. It is also rated for 80 percent battery health after 1000 charging cycles. Software-level optimizations for managing background apps are expected here as well.

Both phones will be available on Flipkart after launch. More details, including pricing, will be shared at the official announcement.

The Green and Pink versions even get round, color-matched keys, which give them a slightly quirky, lifestyle-device vibe, while the Gray sticks to a more conventional look.

Huawei has also tweaked the chassis with a new D-shell design and a surprisingly dense pattern of tiny air vents underneath, almost 5,000 of them. Typing should feel decent too, thanks to 1.5mm key travel.

You’re getting a 14.2-inch OLED panel with a sharp 2.8K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Add in full sRGB and P3 color coverage, 1.07 billion colors, and Huawei’s PaperMatte layer for reduced glare, and it’s clearly aimed at both content consumption and light creative work.

Under the hood, the laptop runs on Huawei’s Kirin X90 chip, paired with HarmonyOS 6.1. Performance-wise, it’s backed by a 40W TDP and a dual-fan cooling system, which should be enough for everyday productivity and multitasking. Battery life looks strong on paper too—a 70Wh battery rated for up to 21 hours of local video playback and 20 hours of streaming.

HarmonyOS itself brings a bunch of AI features like Celia Deep Research and note-taking tools, plus tighter ecosystem integration if you’re already using Huawei devices. There’s also support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and Huawei’s NearLink tech, along with a full set of ports.

Pricing and availability:

Pricing starts at 6,599 yuan (equivalent to $967) and goes up to 8,599 yuan depending on the configuration, with sales starting from April 28 in the home country.

Huawei has introduced a new smart speaker as part of its latest launch event, and this one leans heavily on both sound quality and smart features. The Huawei Sound X5 was announced alongside the Pura 90 series and WATCH FIT 5 series, expanding the company’s growing ecosystem of connected devices.

At its core, the Sound X5 focuses on audio. Huawei is using an eight-unit, three-way speaker setup, consisting of a 126 mm woofer, four 48 mm midrange drivers, a 35 mm tweeter, and two passive radiators. The idea here is better separation across lows, mids, and highs. Huawei claims bass can go down to 36Hz, which should add a bit more depth compared to smaller speakers.

The rated output is around 160W, broken down into a 60W woofer, four 20W midrange drivers, and a 20W tweeter. For comparison, the Huawei Sound X4 featured a 50W 120.7mm woofer, four 38.1mm 5W full-range speakers, a 31.8mm 3W tweeter, and two passive radiators.

There’s also a push toward smarter interactions this time. The speaker runs on an updated HarmonyOS AI model, with support for more natural voice commands and continuous conversations. In theory, that means less rigid phrasing when you’re trying to control it.

Connectivity is also built around Huawei’s ecosystem. With HarmonyOS Smart Connect, the Sound X5 can link with other devices for things like quick audio sharing or basic smart home control. There are also smaller additions like gesture controls and a sleep mode.

Huawei has also included lighting effects that react to sound, adding a bit of visual feedback while music is playing. It’s not essential, but it does help the speaker stand out a little.

Pricing and availability:

It comes in black, white, and gold finishes, with pricing starting at 2,199 yuan. The gold version is priced slightly higher at 2,499 yuan, likely due to its passive radiator being plated with 18K gold. Edifier has launched its latest desktop Bluetooth speaker, the Huazai Melo Bar, in the Chinese market. It is priced at 329 yuan ($48) and is now available on JD.com. The speaker is available in two colors, Mist White and Night Black.

The Edifier Melo Bar uses dual 52mm drivers with a symmetrical bass reflex system for enhanced bass and clear mids and highs. It features a Class D amplifier, providing 5W total continuous output (10W peak), and DSP tuning for balanced sound in all modes.

Huawei has officially launched the WATCH FIT 5 series, adding a new set of smartwatches to its lineup. The announcement came during the Pura series event, and as expected, the focus is on a mix of design, fitness features, and battery life rather than anything too experimental.

The WATCH FIT 5 Pro comes with a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 × 408. It’s surrounded by fairly slim 1.8mm bezels and protected with a 2.5D glass, which gives the watch a modern look overall. The display reaches up to 3000 nits, so visibility outdoors shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Just like last year’s WATCH Fit 4 Pro, the successor uses a titanium alloy bezel, and Huawei is pairing it with a woven strap that’s meant to feel lighter and more comfortable. Without the strap, the watch weighs 30.4 grams. Color options include White, Orange, and Black.

On the feature side, Huawei is leaning into shorter, more casual workouts. There are additions like “cycling assistant” and a golf mode. Health tracking includes ECG support and some form of blood sugar monitoring research, though how that works in practice will matter more than the feature list itself.

The list of sensors includes:

It also includes most of the same sensors, just without ECG and the depth sensor. It comes in purple, green, white, and black, and is aimed at users who want a lighter watch at 27g, versus 30.4g for the Pro, without all the extra features.

Pricing and availability:

Pricing starts at 1099 yuan for the WATCH FIT 5 and 2099 yuan for the Pro. The standard model went up for pre-order on April 20 and goes on sale April 29, while the Pro opens for pre-orders on April 29 and will be available from May 15.

Huawei has introduced its new AI-powered smart glasses at its latest Pura series launch event. The device was unveiled by He Gang, CEO of Huawei Terminal BG, who wore the glasses during the presentation.

The product, called Huawei AI Glasses, comes in three color options: titanium silver gray, shimmering silver, and modern black. Huawei is also offering both round and square frame designs. 

The glasses retail for 2,499 yuan (~ $367) for the titanium silver gray and modern black versions, while the shimmering silver model is priced higher at 2,899 yuan (~ $425). Pre-orders begin on April 20, with sales starting April 25.

Huawei AI Glasses Specifications 

On design, the glasses are lightweight and will feel closer to your everyday eyewear. The company says it uses new lightweight materials and precision stacking techniques. The temples measure 6.25 mm, and the total weight is 35.5 grams. 

Huawei also claims the design is based on analysis of over 300,000 head shapes in Asia, which it uses to build what it calls a “golden triangle” structure for balance.

The glasses use a self-developed titanium alloy hinge system, which Huawei says improves stability by 21% compared to competing products. There is also mention of a 0.65 mm effective amplitude and a 120 square millimeter vibration area, which relates to the frame’s mechanical movement and fit.

Inside, the glasses are powered by a Huawei-developed AI chip. The company claims near-instant response times for voice interactions, with support for voice wake-up and a one-click AI shortcut. A few of the key features include “See the World” through Huawei’s Xiaoyi assistant and an Alipay “Look and Pay” function.

For media use, the glasses come with a 1/2.8-inch image sensor. Huawei says it supports AI RAW multi-frame fusion, along with AI-assisted composition correction and first-person perspective live streaming.

Alongside the hardware, Huawei is also launching a companion app called Huawei Glasses App. It supports pairing, smart audio broadcasting, automatic content import, and device collaboration with other Huawei products.

The Huawei AI Glasses are rated for up to 12 hours of general use, including around 8 hours of voice calls and 9 hours of continuous music playback.

According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, Honor is working on a new Pro Max variant as part of the Magic 9 series. There is a possibility that this model may replace the previously expected Ultra version, suggesting a shift in naming strategy for the company’s premium devices.

One of the major highlights of the Magic 9 Pro Max is expected to be its dual 200-megapixel camera setup. This includes a primary sensor and a periscope telephoto lens, both aimed at delivering high-resolution imaging and improved zoom capabilities. The device is also tipped to introduce better stabilization to reduce blur and enhance clarity, especially during video recording.

Beyond still photography, Honor is reportedly focusing on refining video performance. The upcoming model is expected to deliver smoother footage, sharper visuals, and improved low-light video quality.

Xiaomi has launched a new smart kitchen appliance in China. The company’s latest product is the Xiaomi Mijia Timer Gas Stove 3 Pro, which debuted on the Youpin platform. 

It is priced at 2,299 yuan (~ $338), but a limited-time offer discounts it to 1,899 yuan (~ $279). The stove is designed for natural gas users with a priority on safety, automation, and energy efficiency.

At the core of the system is a pressure-sensitive titanium alloy probe that monitors pot temperature in real time. If it detects that a pot is overheating or running dry, the system can automatically shut off the gas and extinguish the flame. Xiaomi says this anti-dry-burning feature is available on the right burner.

Both burners also support a built-in timer ranging from 1 to 180 minutes. Once the set time is reached, the stove automatically turns off the gas flow and extinguishes the flame. 

On the performance side, the stove delivers up to 5200W of heat output. Xiaomi claims it supports high-efficiency combustion with up to 70% thermal efficiency and meets new Level 1 energy efficiency standards. The company also estimates that users could save around 1,680 yuan in gas costs over eight years.

The design also focuses on maintenance. The stove uses an anti-fingerprint AG glass panel, removable burner heads, and a detachable pot rack for easier cleaning. It also includes an adjustable chassis, which allows installation without modifying existing kitchen cutouts.

The smart features also extend to the connected home ecosystem. When paired with the Mi Home app and a compatible range hood, the stove can send alerts for abnormal usage, such as flameouts or dry burning. However, Xiaomi notes that compatibility depends on specific models, especially for older range hoods.

There are also a few limitations. The anti-dry-burning system requires direct contact with metal cookware, meaning ceramic, glass, or earthen pots may not work well with this feature.

Dell Technologies has launched the Dell 15 laptop in India, aimed at users looking for a reliable machine for daily work, study, and communication, with added AI support.

The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, with options for the Core Ultra 5 225H and Core Ultra 7 255H. Both operate within a 28W power range and are paired with Intel Arc integrated graphics. There is also a built-in NPU for handling AI tasks like video calls and presentations. A dedicated Copilot key gives quick access to AI features in Windows 11 Home.

It comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 1920×1080 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The screen supports up to 300 nits of brightness, uses a Wide Viewing Angle panel, and has an anti-glare coating. Dell has included ComfortView software to reduce blue light. For calls, the laptop features a 720p HD webcam, dual speakers, a single digital microphone, and AI-based noise reduction.

The Dell 15 uses a lift hinge design that slightly raises the keyboard for a better typing angle and airflow. It includes a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad, optional backlighting, and a precision touchpad. The body is made from PC+ABS plastic and comes in Carbon Black and Platinum Silver. It measures between 16.96 mm and 18.99 mm in thickness, with dimensions of 358.50 × 235.56 mm, and starts at 1.66 kg.

The laptop offers 8GB or 16GB DDR5 RAM at 5600 MT/s in a single-channel setup. Storage options include 512GB and 1TB SSD using QLC technology. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Ports include USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 1.4 with 1080p at 60Hz, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Oppo is set to make the Find X9 Ultra official on April 21 — tomorrow — and at this point, there isn’t much left to guess. Thanks to official teasers, certification listings, and a steady flow of leaks, we are already well aware of the Find X9 Ultra in full.

As you might know, it’s a photography-first phone, but it still comes with the usual checklist of flagship features: a large battery, a high-refresh-rate display, and a top-end chipset.

Still, most of the conversation around the device comes back to the camera system. So let’s go through a roundup of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra to understand what it will offer in terms of cameras and other specs.

Cameras

Oppo’s collaboration with Hasselblad isn’t new, but this time it feels more integrated into the actual shooting experience. The company is introducing something called Hasselblad Master Mode 2.0.

The new mode is designed to deliver professional-grade photography with enhanced creative flexibility. This system introduces native film styles (Portra, 800T, TX400, XPAN), supports 16EV high dynamic range, and allows users to save up to 20 custom AI-powered presets. Not to forget, the system also supports RAW MAX and JPEG MAX across multiple focal lengths (14mm, 23mm, 46mm, 70mm, 140mm, 230mm).

As for the hardware, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to feature a quad-camera setup that includes two 200-megapixel sensors — one for the main camera and another for a 3x zoom lens.

Alongside that, there’s a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a separate 10x periscope telephoto lens. There’s also mention of a 3.2-megapixel multispectral sensor to help with color accuracy.

Here, the main sensor is said to be the Sony LYT-901, while the ultra-wide uses Sony’s LYT-600. The 3x zoom relies on an OmniVision OV52A sensor, and the 10x periscope uses a Samsung JN-series sensor.

On top of that, Oppo is reportedly working on an optional telephoto extender with 16 glass elements. For most people, the built-in 10x zoom can handle most scenarios, but those who need more reach can opt for the external kit. Oppo claims it can deliver up to 20x “optical-quality” zoom and a maximum of 120x digital zoom.

There’s also a redesigned prism structure in the telephoto system, which is said to improve long-distance shooting. Combined with optical calibration during manufacturing, Oppo seems to be focusing on consistency as much as raw zoom capability.

Design

The design of the Find X9 Ultra makes it clear what the phone is about. The back is dominated by a large circular camera module. Inside the circle are camera sensors arranged in a somewhat asymmetrical layout, sitting within a rounded rectangular island.

The rest of the back panel uses a leather-like texture with a dual-tone finish toward the bottom. It’s a small detail, but it likely helps with grip, especially on a device that weighs around 238 grams.

Color options are expected to include Velvet Sand Canyon (an orange finish), Earth Tundra (brown), and Polar Glacier (white). The top-tier 16GB + 1TB model may also come bundled with a special Hasselblad “Explorer Master Kit.”

There are also a couple of physical additions worth noting. The Find X9 Ultra has a “Quick Button” at the bottom right, which will be useful for shortcuts or quick camera access. Meanwhile, there’s a “Snap Key” at the top left for accessing AI features.

The rest of the flagship checklist

Beyond the camera, the Find X9 Ultra mostly follows the expected formula for a high-end Android phone. It’s likely to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels, along with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Configurations are expected to go up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, with satellite connectivity reserved for the top variant.

Keeping everything running is a 7,050mAh battery that is expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, an IR blaster, and a full set of durability ratings — IP68, IP69, and IP69K. The phone will run ColorOS 16, based on Android 16.

Huawei is rounding out its latest flagship Pura 90 lineup with the launch of the standard Pura 90. It sits below the Pro and Pro Max in the lineup, but still brings a surprisingly aggressive mix of camera hardware, battery life, and design.

At a glance, the Pura 90 shares the same rounded triangular (or “guitar pick”) camera module seen across the lineup, but the execution is noticeably different.

Instead of the symmetrical triple-camera layout on the Pro Max, the standard Pura 90 goes for an asymmetrical design. It has one large circular camera paired with smaller surrounding sensors. The design makes the base model visually different from the part. 

On the front, you get a 6.8-inch display with a centered pill-shaped punch-hole cutout. Huawei Pura 90 Pro series, in comparison, has a single punch-hole design.

Camera and Battery

Even as the “entry” model in the lineup, Huawei isn’t holding back much on imaging.

The Pura 90 features a 50MP RYYB main camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 12.5MP RYYB ultra-wide (f/2.2) and a 50MP periscope telephoto offering 3.7x optical zoom, also with OIS. Like the rest of the series, it includes Huawei’s Red Maple color system for improved color accuracy.

Up front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera, and interestingly, Huawei is adding a Red Maple color camera on the front as well, something that’s not available on the Pro and Pro Max variants.

The Pura 90 packs a 6,500mAh battery, which is actually larger than the 6,000mAh unit found in the Pro Max. It supports 100W fast charging.

Unlike the new Kirin 9030 series, the Pura 90 is powered by the Kirin 9010S processor. Still, Huawei says the performance is about 15 percent better than the previous generation. 

On the software side, the phone runs HarmonyOS 6.1, bringing the same AI-focused experience, visual refresh, and Xiaoyi assistant improvements seen across the rest of the Pura 90 series.

Despite the large battery, the Pura 90 comes in at just 7mm thick.

The Huawei Pura 90 starts at 4,699 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB version is priced at 5,199 yuan, while the 16GB + 512GB variant comes in at 5,699 yuan.

Alongside the wide, book-style Pura X Max, Huawei also unveiled its more conventional flagships, the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max today. The latter is the top-of-the-line model this generation, as there will be no Ultra variant. 

Starting with the display, the Huawei Pura 90 Pro features a 6.6-inch display, while the Pro Max stretches that to 6.9 inches. Both have a single punch-hole cutout.

Huawei is still trying to make things visually distinct. The Pro Max adopts what it calls an “emotional color aesthetic,” which has an industry-first dual-color gradient metal frame and a glowing borderless theme. It comes in Orange Ocean, Emerald Lake, Sunset Purple, Dawn Gold, and Obsidian Black.

The standard Pro tones things down slightly with Pink Guava, Orange Soda, Coconut White, and Mulberry Black.

Cameras

As for the camera, the Pura 90 Pro Max leads with a 50MP RYYB main sensor (1/1.28-inch) with OIS, paired with LOFIC tech and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. Huawei claims it offers up to 16 times greater dynamic range than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, alongside significantly improved highlight and shadow detail.

It’s backed by a 40MP RYYB ultra-wide camera and a 200MP RYYB periscope telephoto (also 1/1.28-inch), offering 4x optical zoom and up to 8x “optical-quality” zoom. Huawei says the telephoto system pulls in up to five times more light than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, thanks in part to what it calls an industry-first three-in-one super concentrating prism. It is also rated for CIPA 7.0 stabilization.

The standard Pura 90 Pro dials things back slightly but keeps the same core philosophy. It uses a 50MP RYYB main sensor (1/1.28-inch) with OIS and the same variable aperture setup (f/1.4–f/4.0), paired with a 12.5MP RYYB ultra-wide (13mm) and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 4x optical zoom and up to 8x optical-quality zoom.

Both phones fall under Huawei’s XMAGE branding and have a Red Maplee multispectral lens. The two also have features like 3D dynamic photos, portrait enhancements, and AI-assisted shooting tools.

Kirin 9030S and AI everywhere

Unlike the Kirin 9030 Pro on the Pura X Max foldable, both devices have the Kirin 9030S processor. The company claims a 200 percent improvement in NPU image understanding, along with gains in AI ISP color processing, telephoto video clarity, and stabilization accuracy.

On the software side, both phones run HarmonyOS 6.1. And AI is a major part of the pitch. Such features include AI pose recommendations, AI-assisted composition, portrait retouching, and one-click photo creation. The Xiaoyi assistant also gets upgrades like real-time pointing recognition and voiceprint detection.

The Pro Max also has Huawei’s Kunlun glass protection, which the company says reduces reflections by 70 percent while significantly improving scratch resistance (up to 16 times) and drop resistance (up to 25 percent).

There’s also support for long-distance voice enhancement, extending usable voice pickup up to 10 meters.

Price and availability

The Pura 90 Pro starts at 5,499 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the higher-tier (16GB + 1TB) model costs 7,499 yuan. The Pura 90 Pro Max starts at 6,499 yuan and tops out at 8,499 yuan for the 16GB + 1TB model.

TECNO has launched the TECNO POP X 5G in India, adding a new option in the budget 5G segment. The phone focuses on battery life, durability, and connectivity, with a few features aimed at areas with weak or no network coverage. Notably, the brand had also released a 4G variant with the same name in India just last month.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor built on a 6nm process. It includes two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz, along with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes in 4GB and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM options, both paired with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The phone runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 on top.

Up front, the POP X 5G has a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, with brightness going up to 560 nits. The rear camera is a 13MP unit with an LED flash, while the front camera is 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture.

Battery is a key highlight here. The phone packs a 6500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It measures 167.9 x 79.3 x 8.18mm and weighs 210g. The build includes a 6-series aluminum camera module, and the device is drop tested. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Other hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the connectivity side, the phone supports 5G SA and NSA bands, including n1, n3, n5, n8, n28B, n38, n40, n41, n48, n77, and n78. Apple has long been rumored to launch a wide foldable iPhone, but Huawei just beat it to the punch with the first wide, book-style foldable. As scheduled, the company today announced the Pura X Max alongside the new Pura 90 series.

The Pura X Max shifts away from the now-familiar tall foldable design and instead focuses on a wider, more paper-like aspect ratio. Both the inner and outer displays follow a √2:1 aspect ratio, which Huawei says is intended to create a more consistent viewing experience across screens.

On the outside, you get a 5.4-inch display that pushes up to 3500 nits of peak brightness and supports a 1–120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate. Open it up, and there’s a 7.7-inch inner screen with similar adaptive refresh capabilities, though brightness tops out slightly lower at 3000 nits.

Design-wise, the phone has what it calls a geometric aesthetic, with a ceramic bezel around the camera module that’s meant to give it a more polished look. It comes in five colors: Midnight Black, Zero White, Interstellar Blue, Olive Gold, and Vibrant Orange.

AI, imaging, and a lot of Huawei-specific software

Like most recent launches, AI is a big part of the pitch. The Pura X Max runs HarmonyOS 6.1 and introduces an upgraded Xiaoyi Smart Brain along with what Huawei calls a companion AI system. This system integrates with apps like Amap, Zhihu, Didi, Baidu Maps, and DingTalk, aiming to make the assistant more useful across everyday tasks.

There’s also a long list of AI-driven features, including Xiaoyi Help, Time Machine, AI note-taking, and photo editing tools. 

On the hardware side, the Pura X Max includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, a second-generation color sensor, and a 12.5MP ultra-wide camera. Huawei is branding this setup as part of its XMAGE system, with support for portrait enhancements and 3D dynamic photos.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro chip and runs HarmonyOS. Huawei also says the phone supports real-time ray tracing.

The foldable mechanism itself has been updated as well. Huawei is using a new basalt waterdrop hinge that reportedly increases screen space by 16% and improves drop resistance by 33%. The inner display is protected by a multi-layer structure that includes UTG glass and additional support layers.

There are also some accessories and extras. Huawei introduced the M-Pen 3 Mini stylus, which supports air gestures, includes a microphone, and can trigger the Xiaoyi assistant.

Samsung’s flagship phones are once again in the spotlight for a familiar issue. Reports of the green line display problem are popping up again, and this time, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is part of the conversation.

The issue showed up earlier on devices like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S22 Ultra, the S23 series, and even the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The pattern has been fairly consistent. A thin vertical line appears on the display, usually without any visible damage or clear trigger.

In the recent Galaxy S26 Ultra case, a few users on X have shared posts showing a fairly thick green line on the display. The posts have also sparked some confusion, with a few people calling them “edited” or “fake”.

That said, the video looks legitimate on closer inspection. And given the history of similar issues across older models, it doesn’t feel entirely out of place.

Still, there aren’t many reports yet. A handful of posts across X and Reddit, and not much detail beyond that. So it’s hard to say how widespread this is, or what might be causing it.

For now, it’s something Samsung will likely need to look into further, especially if more cases start to show up. The company has acknowledged it in the past for certain models and, in many cases, has offered free display replacements, as long as there’s no sign of physical damage.

If you run into this, the usual advice is to head to an authorized service center first. They’ll check the device and, if it qualifies, approve a screen replacement. If not, some users suggest asking for a job sheet and escalating the issue through official support channels or the Samsung Members app.

Oppo is also talking about a 16EV dynamic range, which, at least on paper, should help with tricky lighting.

There’s also a bit more focus on the “look” of photos this time. The phone includes Hasselblad-inspired film styles, with names like Portra, 800T, and TX400. These are available directly in the camera app, so you don’t have to rely on editing later. There’s even an XPAN-style wide format mode, which is a bit niche, but interesting.

The push toward smaller and more advanced chips isn’t slowing down anytime soon. A new report suggests TSMC is already looking beyond 2nm, with early plans for sub-1nm manufacturing starting to take shape.

According to DigiTimes, the company is targeting trial production of sub-1nm chips around 2029. Before that, TSMC is expected to bring its 1.4nm process (A14) into mass production in 2028. That node alone is said to offer noticeable gains in both performance and efficiency, reportedly in the range of 30 percent.

The sub-1nm phase, at least initially, won’t be large-scale. The report mentions a starting output of around 5,000 wafers per month, which suggests this will begin more as a testing ground than full production.

To support all this, TSMC is expected to rely on its facilities in Tainan, including the A10 fab and related plants. The timing lines up with increasing demand from areas like AI and high-performance computing, where even small efficiency gains can make a difference.

Apple is likely to be part of that early wave, as usual. The company has consistently been first in line for TSMC’s newest nodes, partly because of the scale it operates at. If things stay on track, it’s possible we could see sub-1nm chips in future MacBooks toward the end of the decade.

That said, there are still quite a few hurdles. TSMC first needs to stabilize its upcoming 1.6nm and 1.4nm processes, and moving below 1nm brings additional challenges around yields, EUV lithography, and heat. None of this is straightforward.

So while the roadmap looks ambitious, it’s still early. Plans at this stage tend to shift, especially when the technology involved is this complex.

Still, if TSMC manages to get there on time, it could be a fairly big step forward. Smaller nodes don’t just mean faster chips, they also help with efficiency, which matters just as much now.

Huawei has introduced the Watch Buds 2, bringing back its unique smartwatch with built-in earbuds concept. Now, in a new development, the alleged Nord CE 6 has appeared in Geekbench’s database with a Snapdragon 7-series chip. This suggests that it could be based on the OnePlus Turbo 6V, which is already available in the Chinese market.

As seen above, an upcoming OnePlus handset with model number CPH2805 has surfaced in Geekbench’s database. The CPU and GPU details mentioned in the listing suggest that it could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

The inclusion of this chip suggests that this device could be the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 6. The listing further reveals that it is equipped with 8GB of RAM and Android 16. Its single-core and multi-core scores are 1,101 and 3,117 points, respectively.

To recall, the CPH2805 device was spotted back in December last year in a report by AndroidHeadlines. Subsequent reports suggested that it will be a global version of China’s OnePlus Turbo 6V.

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 is expected to feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED panel delivering a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4-powered device is expected to offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Like the Nord 6, the CE variant may pack a huge 9,000mAh battery and support 80W fast charging. For photography, it may feature a 32-megapixel front camera, while the rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It is expected to run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.

As per a recent report, the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite may launch in May in India. As for the Lite model, it was reportedly spotted with the Dimensity 7400 chip on Geekbench last week.

At the core is the AMD Ryzen 7 260 chip, which goes up to 5.1 GHz boost clock and comes with 8 cores and 16 threads, along with 16MB L3 cache. The system is paired with 24GB DDR5 RAM clocked at 5600 MT/s and 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage. It runs Windows 11 Home out of the box and includes Microsoft Office 2024, a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic plan, and a two-month Xbox Game Pass offer.
