The Kia Stonic is back to #1 YTD in Cyprus.
According toΒ our local partners SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT , the Cypriot market is up 8.1% year-on-year in April to 1,185 units. The YTD tally is now down -13.5% to 4,799. This month Kia (+78.9%) easily reclaims the brands top spot after a freak #1 spot by Nissan last month. Hyundai (+42.5%) also shines to 2nd place ahead of Volkswagen (-18.9%). Newcomer BYD is up to #4 with 7% share which are both new records. Toyota (-46.9%) closes out the Top 5 in party form. #1 last month, Nissan (stable) falls to #7.
Model-wise, the Hyundai Tucson (+77.2%) shoots up to #1 with 8.5% share ahead of the Kia Stonic (+196.6%) which climbs three spots YTD to reclaim the pole position it held over the Full Year 2025. In fact Kia places no less than five models inside the Top 6 with the Xceed (+1200%) at #3, the EV3 (+163.2%) at #4, the Sportage (-4.7%) at #5 and the Picanto (estimated at +11.1%) at #6. The BYD Atto 3 and Dolphin Surf are both inside the Top 10.
