Galaxy S26 brings several Pixel-exclusive AI features via One UI 8.5
Samsung’s new Galaxy S26 series is bringing some AI features that were previously exclusive to Google Pixel phones. The new Galaxy devices offer several new features, and some of them are taken from Pixel to make its phones more helpful and user-friendly.
The Galaxy S26 series comes preinstalled with One UI 8.5, and it now features smarter screenshots, AI-generated images, and improved call screening. Many of these are inspired by Pixel phones, but Samsung has added its own twist to make them more useful in everyday life.
Galaxy S26 Features
Smarter Screenshots
Samsung Gallery app now sorts screenshots automatically. Screenshots are organized into categories such as receipts, tickets, coupons, or directions. This feature, inspired by the Pixel 10a, makes it easier to find the images you need without using extra apps.
Private Album (Locked Folder style)
Samsung is also adding a Private Album, similar to Google Photos’ Locked Folder. This lets users hide photos or videos without making separate folders or needing a Samsung account.
Creative Studio: Make AI Images
Creative Studio is powered by Gemini AI. Like Pixel Studio, it allows you to describe an image or draw with the S Pen. The AI then turns it into a picture in different styles and themes.

Smart Contextual Nudges: Magic Clue
Magic Cue is Samsung’s version of Pixel’s “Now Nudge.” It can show useful information like addresses, phone numbers, or photos from recent trips. Unlike Pixel, it works with apps like WhatsApp, making it more useful for everyday life.
Call Screening
Call Screening is also coming to Galaxy S26. It helps screen unknown callers and shows a live text feed of the conversation so you can avoid spam or unwanted calls.
With these features, Samsung is taking Pixel-inspired ideas and improving them for Galaxy users, making the phones smarter, safer, and easier to use.
