Google Photos now available on Samsung TVs – Limited rollout
Google has introduced support for Google Photos on Samsung‘s newest smart TVs, which gives users a simple way to enjoy their pictures and videos on a larger display. This feature was announced in late 2025 and has now started rolling out, but it is limited to certain models.
With this, you can sign in to your Google Photos account on your Samsung TV. After logging in, they can explore their photos through different sections. One of these is the Daily Plus row, which automatically shows a changing selection of memories. This makes it easy to revisit past moments without needing to search manually.
There’s also an option for the Daily Plus app launcher. When opened, it allows users to view their photos in full-screen mode, making the experience more enjoyable on a big TV screen. The Daily Board widget displays photos along with other information, offering a quick and convenient way to see your memories.

To make sure users feel comfortable sharing their screens, privacy options are included. Users can switch between Standard mode and Guest mode.
Standard mode gives a more personalized experience, while Guest mode hides private or sensitive images and videos. This is useful when friends or family members are watching.
However, there is a catch. This feature is only available on selected Samsung TVs released in 2026. Samsung and Google have not yet provided a complete list of supported models, which may cause some confusion for users. Stay tuned for more information.
