Undefeated American sensation Chase “Mannimal” Mann is back, and this time, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The 29-year-old Arkansas native headlines ONE Fight Night 42 on Prime Video, where he’ll face unbeaten Turkish finisher Dzhabir Dzhabrailov in a welterweight MMA clash.
That event will broadcast live in U.S. primetime from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, April 10, and there could be more on the line than just a perfect record.
Between the duo, they own a combined 13 wins, 11 stoppages, and zero losses. Victory in Bangkok could earn either man a shot at two-division ONE World Champion Christian “The Warrior” Lee‘s welterweight belt.
For Mann, the undefeated-versus-undefeated storyline is a nice detail. However, it isn’t what drives him.
The powerlifting beast explained:
“It’s a cool thing that we’re both undefeated, but I’m not holding on to that. I hear a lot of guys say they’re fighting not to lose, and they’re holding on to it. I’m just fighting to win.
“I would like to go undefeated my whole career, which would be cool. But I’m just here to fight, and this will be an interesting clash between two undefeated guys.”
To ensure he gets his hand raised, the Arkansas buzzsaw has left no ground uncovered in his preparation.
Mann has studied Dzhabrailov closely and arrived at a detailed understanding of exactly what he is walking into.
The “Mannimal” continued:
“I’ve watched every fight of his, and he is another killer. He looks like a Muay Thai fighter. He’s got very good skills. He’s got very explosive striking. He usually gets it done in the first round, so I must find a way to use that against him.”
Dzhabrailov’s finishing instincts are well-documented. All three of his ONE Championship victories came within the first two minutes. In every one of those battles, he displayed explosiveness, relentlessness, and an obsession to end the night early.
For most opponents, that kind of forward pressure is an overwhelming force. Mann, however, sees it differently. The aggression that has ended every one of Dzhabrailov’s opponents is, in his view, a double-edged sword.
Mann explained:
“A skill like that, just forward pressure and aggression, can also be a weakness. You’ve got to fight everybody a little differently. Obviously, you use your strengths, but I think it could turn out to be a weakness in this one.
“He loves coming forward and lets his hands fly. I like to come forward, pick people up, slam them, and hit them on the ground. So, I guess we’ll find out what he’ll do. It’s gonna be fun.”
Fun is one word for it. After all, they are two unbeaten wrecking machines known to produce mayhem every time they step into the ring.
Between them, one spotless record survives on April 10, and Mann has already mapped out exactly how. When asked for his prediction, the answer arrived without hesitation.
He warned:
“Somebody’s getting finished. It’s not going to a decision. It might take two, or it might take three [rounds]. But I think I’ll submit him halfway through the third round.”
Chase Mann enters this matchup on the back of a decisive promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 39 this past January.
He earned a first-round TKO victory over Isi “Doxz” Fitikefu to move his career record to a spotless 7-0. It was a statement arrival, and one that still hasn’t fully sunk in.
The American added:
“It’s always a relief to come out with a win. It’s a dream come true. I’m getting to live my dream, and I’m fighting for the best promotion in the world.
“Even seeing the pictures of me in the ring, I’m like, ‘Oh, crap. I’m really doing this.’ But I don’t let stuff go to my head like that. I’m just taking it a day at a time.”
Taking it one day at a time hasn’t stopped the bigger picture from coming into focus.
A triumph over Dzhabrailov – a fighter with a similar level of relentlessness – could earn him a shot at Christian Lee’s ONE Welterweight MMA World Championship.
Mann has done the calculations, and he’ll be more than happy if that chance comes knocking on his door next:
“I’ve thought about it. I’ve done the MMA math in my head and everything. But I can’t think about it too much right now. I’m going to get too excited, and I don’t want to be arrogant.
“But yes, I could see the winner [of this match] getting a title shot, for sure. I’ve always thought and said that I don’t want to rush anything. But if the opportunity presents itself, absolutely. Let’s do it!”
Joshua “Flyin Hawaiian” Perreira has endured a nightmarish journey through injury, surgery, and rehab, but he’s determined to prove that adversity has only made him more dangerous.
The undefeated 29-year-old sensation will make his highly anticipated return against Gilbert Nakatani in an all-American flyweight MMA showdown.
That battle goes down at ONE Fight Night 42 on Prime Video, which broadcasts live in U.S. primetime from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, April 10.
Perreira, who is now based in Ohio, brought a perfect 5-0 record into his ONE Championship debut against Chinese star Banma “The Prince” Duoji in March 2025.
However, disaster struck early when the American’s right knee twisted twice during a routine striking exchange, creating the opening Banma needed to capitalize and finish the fight. What initially appeared to be a TKO loss was later overturned to a no contest, but the damage to Perreira’s knee would prove far more significant than the result on his record.
The Hawaii-born star, who loves all things related to dinosaurs, told onefc.com:
“I popped a jab the same way I’ve popped a jab thousands of times. My foot goes this way, the rest of my body goes this way, and I get this sharp stinging sensation right on top of my knee. I kept fighting through it for as long as I could.”
That warrior mentality of continuing to compete despite immense pain speaks to Perreira’s toughness, but the injury required medical attention that would sideline him for months. The diagnosis revealed the extent of the damage and the long road ahead.
The initial surgery addressed the immediate structural damage, but Perreira’s recovery hit an unexpected complication when his leg failed to regain full range of motion. A second surgical intervention became necessary to identify and resolve the issue.
The “Flyin Hawaiian” shared:
“It was an ACL tear, a complete tear with meniscus damage on both sides. I got a big scar right down the top of my knee and a couple of puncture holes on the sides. I had two surgeries. The first one was just to reconnect everything and sew up all the meniscus on both sides. My leg was locked out, completely straight for about a month.
“A couple months passed, and we noticed my leg wasn’t bending past a certain point. We go back in, they scope it, and it turns out there was a cyst – like, a scar tissue cyst – on my knee that prevented the knee from bending further. After that was out, I have a full range of motion now.”
The physical challenges, while severe, represented only part of Perreira’s struggle. The mental and emotional toll of a career-threatening injury created darkness that no surgery could repair.
Extended periods of helplessness while watching life continue without him created despair that athletes rarely discuss publicly. The inability to train, to pursue the passion that defined his identity, left him feeling purposeless and lost.
Perreira confessed:
“I wish I could say it was all sunshine and rainbows. Some days were great, some days were awful. There were good days, there were bad days. I lost some things, lost some family. And you know, just that helpless feeling of not being able to do anything.”
Joshua Perreira’s return brings him face-to-face with an opponent whose career path mirrors his own in many ways.
The “Flyin Hawaiian” will battle 32-year-old Gilbert Nakatani, a fellow product of North America’s regional MMA circuit who is coming off a jaw-dropping knockout victory. Both fighters competed in the LFA promotion, but their paths never directly crossed until now.
Perreira recognizes the challenges Nakatani presents. The Immortal Martial Arts representative watched his opponent’s fights while they both competed in the LFA, studying the wrestling-based grappling and knockout power that made the Japanese-American so successful.
The Hawaiian-born martial artist said:
“He has that grit, heart, and knockout power, especially in his last fight with a very experienced fighter. And even his first fight, being able to challenge the current champion [Yuya Wakamatsu]. I have an extremely tough opponent in front of me.
“I remember watching his fights while I was in the LFA. He was in the LFA at the same time, and he’s a very tough wrestler with huge heart and a lot of power. He’s an MMA grappler. He mixes everything very, very well. But once I get into my flow, he will be shooting for his life.”
The “Flyin Hawaiian” recognizes Nakatani will enter the contest with a clear approach designed to neutralize his striking prowess. However, Perreira has no intention of allowing the fight to reach the judges’ scorecards.
Throughout his professional career, Perreira has stopped every opponent. That instinctual tendency doesn’t disappear simply because he’s returning from a serious injury. If anything, the layoff has sharpened his hunger to prove himself in spectacular fashion.
The 29-year-old said:
“We have a good idea of what he wants to do to get the judges’ nod, but as you can see, that for my record, I do not leave it in the hands of the judges. If I see blood in the water, or if I see a way to finish the fight, I will end the fight.
“I am predicting a TKO in the second round. I will be overwhelming him in the first round with feints, and I will see the opportunity arise and go for the finish.”

Redmi is expected to hold a major launch event this month in China, which will see the arrival of the Redmi K90 Ultra. Apart from unveiling this performance-focused phone, the brand will also take the covers off a new tablet and Intel CPU-powered notebooks. Here’s a look at the new laptops that are expected to launch with the K90 Ultra.
According to a tipster, the upcoming Redmi notebooks will be powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H CPU, paired with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. They will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch screen size options.
While the official monikers are not known yet, these could be dubbed the Redmi Book Pro 14 (2026) and Book Pro 16 (2026). These devices are expected to succeed the 2025 Redmi Book Pro 14 and Book Pro 16, which were powered by Intel Ultra 5 225 / 7 225H processors.
As per reports, the Redmi K Pad 2 will have an 8.8-inch LCD 3K screen offering a 165Hz refresh rate. It will come with other features such as a 9,000mAh battery, a flagship-level processor, dual X-axis motors for enhanced haptics, and triple speakers with Bose tuning.
The Redmi K90 Ultra will be a performance-focused offering, equipped with a Dimensity 9500. It will feature a 6.83-inch OLED 1.5K 165Hz screen, an 8,500mAh battery with 100W charging, a built-in cooling fan, and a Bose-tuned triple speaker system.
